I'm just sick of Ramona pulling shit and always getting a pass on it.

ITA, disco. Everyone (and I'm guilty of this, too) thinks it's great that Ramona says hurtful things when they are being directed at someone the viewer doesn't like. The minute Ramona "gets real" with one of their favorites, Ramona turns into devil.

I can't remember the details, but pretty much every time Ramona lashes out at Lulu, it's in response to some put down FROM Lulu. The whole kid thing, for example, was in response to Lulu saying it was amazing how well Ramona's daughter turned out, considering who she had for a mother. Right after that Ramona did the "you are a weekend mother, what the hell do you know?"

Ditto the "married an old man" comment, Lulu butted into a conversation and practically called Ramona's dating advice to Bethenny slutty.

She lashes back, and she lashes back HARD, but it's hardly unprovoked (in my memory anyway.)

weaver! that's terrible! I feel like I jinxed you- talking about flood insurance :( you won't be liable for the neighbors eff up, though, right?
Thanks, Ranjake. No I'm not liable, nor are my neighbors upstairs. The building is responsible. The building had just redone their terrace and the drains just didn't hold. I don't even know whose fault it was because we'd never have rain like that before. But our building management should have been a bit more proactive in advance of the storm in making sure drains and gutters were clear, I doubt if they did, lazy louts.

"Alls" I know is if I wanted to hang with someone, it wouldn't be Ramona.
And she has said nasty things to others without being provoked. (Her nastiness to Simon when he crashed the women's only party, to Bethenny on the bridge walk are two that come to mind right away. Even if it was what we were thinking, it was still nasty to say.) My point is Ramona thinks she can say whatever she wants, and she gets a pass. Someone else says it, and her immediate reaction is to go for the jugular.

Ramona and Tamra are the two housewives I trust least of all.

I wouldn't choose any of them, from any franchise, to be friends with (well, maybe Lisa V) but nobody scares me like Moaner and Tamruh.

Bethenny annoys me to high heaven but I don't think she's out to nail anyone's balls to the wall. Because she loves balls. And would never want to hurt them.

Of all the housewives, the only one I can imagine it might be fun and stress-free to hang with? Is Brandi on BH, and possibly Lisa. '

Then again, we haven't had a chance to get to know these new wives yet.

ah, I just assumed everyone got it at the same times just started earlier...ie. i'm in central now so it's 9pm CST and 10 pm EST and I figured 7pm pacific...ok I guess that logic is flawed..they'd never put Howives on that early unless it was repeats..

a few things -

Aviva - she needs to cut the hair. Watching the two inches of her natural hair fly around her extensions at the brunch was just so distracting. She'd look loads better w/o the cousin it hair. It's like an much older version of the Olsen Twins.

I'm not a New Yorker - does 'downtown' really mean leather? That sounds so antiquated.

I get a closet gay vibe off of Reid. Maybe it was the uber expensive lumberjack gear. I also give the side eye to the "I'd die w/o him he must be with me ever second" relationships. Granted since her ex was ridden more times then the local fireman's pole I guess I'll cut Aviva some slack.

Yummi Tummi - she continues with her pretty face/ugly face routine. At this stage I think she's actually got a dividing line down the center of her kinda like the man/woman circus freak.

ETA- Victoria gave Lulu the look like "you are trippin" you could tell the thought bubbble was you barely tolerate us, and now you want a baby..bitch please.

cut to LuLu throwing up gang signs and dropping the N word. Gah I just can't with LuLu and her brood. Don't like 'em - even Frenchy. I wonder how he can stay with her knowing that she was married to a racist. I wouldn't be able to do it - but I think your mate shows a lot about *your* character. You pick your mate vs family that you were born into - LuLu picked a bigot to marry. Either implication of said decision doesn't speak well for her character - either she overlooked it b/c she wanted the money or she condoned bigotry.

when I was a psych nurse, some of the patients with anxiety had trichotilomania- they would pull their hair out to self soothe. This is really weird and probably totally off-base- but look at the strange layers of hair on top of Aviva's head- you could clearly see them in 2 scenes. They seem very strange- I can't imagine anyone with long layers having short spikey layers on top of their heads; but the trichotilomania patients used to have layers like that when their hair would grow in. I know I'm probably completely wrong- but it was my first, nagging thought. She could just have weird breakage.

Oh Luann, he charmed more than your socks off, and lady, you were still married, I would bet my house on it!

:D

Sonja, "best bubble bath of my LIFE!" (talking about Harry, Aviva's X) Damn Ramona's timing, Luann might have spilled something! Curses.

I'm liking Aviva more all the time.
