I wonder if their marriage has been over for a while. They have absolutely no chemistry -- that foot massage scene was cringe-worthy.

Ramona tweeted this....

You know damn well she never heard of John Irving or read any of his books. Think he had a ghostwriter?

These damn feel good quotes from mindless Tweeters piss me off.

So, how's she going to live her way of life now? By taking him back again?

She will have to take down the House of Singer, the jewelry house that is.

I think she wants to go back with him and he doesn't give a damn anymore. Avery is not around to buffer.

If he doesn't want to be married and faithful to Ramona he needs to grow some balls and initiate a divorce. No matter who you are it's not fair to be treated the way MarioTheF'ingSlimeball is treating Ramona.

ITA> Fine - you want to run around with the Krazy, great. Just file for a divorce and publicly announce the separation before you are seen out and about with the other person. He's a coward by forcing her hand. If she won't agree to a divorce, he can still file. I bet they have no prenup - either that, or if NY is like California, the prenup is no good after 10 years.

Didn't Ramona file for divorce? But then she "unfiled" when she took him back?

I hope Ramona divorces him and then books WWHL to spill it all … and goes after Dexter. I think she's looney tunes and Mario will regret going with her, but FUCK HIM, FUCK HIM HARD. Asshole.

I hope Avery divorces him, too.

Totally agree about Andy not really giving time to Carole to respond. That sucked.

I already commented about the Mario thing in the media thread, which I read before I read this one. Oh well.

I don't think Luann "cheated" on the count. I think they had a VERY typical, for the French anyway, marriage. In other words, it was understood that both move on to "something on the side" after that initial passion wanes. So, not an "open marriage" in the "post-hippy enlightenment" USA sense, but more rooted in centuries of French tradition. The USA style is more about honesty and trust, but the French style is much more "it's understood, accept it, marriage is for the children after a certain amount of time." You still may have sex with your spouse, but the passion is found elsewhere.

I loved Luann this season, almost all of her phony pretensions and guard was down.

Aviva needs to NEVER be on my TV again. I can't stand her.

Mario is simply awful. He could have flown away with her somewhere private. This was just nasty. Wonder if they had a blow out and then he went to Montauk to smack her in the face. Oh, Montauk isn't that close to Sag Harbor where Andy lives. Depending upon traffic it can be anywhere from 35- 50 min. It goes East Hampton, Amagan., Napeague, Montauk and Sag is just North of EH. It is getting really trendy like Weaver said but it's a pain to get there for just a dinner since it's so far from the main towns. People with money have been buying up the gross little motels and turning them into nice little hotel rooms. I saw it coming. Nothing left after there but the sea.

This reunion is a snooze fest. 35 minutes in and it has been so boring.

I fell asleep and had to watch it again.

I hope that is the last we shall ever see of Aviva. She is dreadful (™ Dwight).

I finally figured out what was bugging me so much about Heather and Carole and it's that laughing at everything Ramona or Sonja says and yelling at everything Aviva says … as though they need to say it for all of us. As though they imagine us out in the audience screaming those things and they think they'll be so much more popular for being our voice. Or am I imagining it? I thought that Heather, particularly, was obnoxious in chiding Aviva about using the terms ghetto and hood and talking about someone belonging in prison for using that bad language. It's a stupid argument -- who are you protecting? Anyone really from a ghetto or 'hood or in prison doesn't give a fuck about this show or what Aviva thinks. And Aviva isn't influencing anyone with her comments. She's saying it's low class -- and it is. It's also anti-women to say that women should not speak that way. If they wanted to point out an important influential thing Aviva was pushing, it's that.

I also think the whole Berkshires vs. Hamptons debate was stupid and here's why: You have to be richer than most of the viewing audience to live in NYC and either of those places stylishly enough to be a Real Housewife. No one is gonna be a RHW who has to scramble for cab fare. I thought Ramona apologized all over herself for her comments about Heather's home in the Berkshires, plenty for a normal, gracious person to accept. But then we get back to the role Heather and Carole seemed to be playing (Carole less than Heather) which was to make sure everything that could be pointed out about how wrong Ramona or Sonja or Aviva were HAD TO BE SAID RIGHT THEN.

Kristin could not have been more inconsequential had she tried. The more she protested the less I gave a shit.

And Heather saying to Aviva "get a better storyline!" … uh, this is a reality show. We saw too much of Aviva's father in her attempt to do something other than be a woman with a fake leg.

And Kristin yelling over and over again "bullshit" about Aviva saying she didn't plan to whip off her leg? Once was enough. Three times was like a spell and I was snoring on the couch. ;)

Icy I haven't watched it yet, but over at Twop and now at ptv there have been lengthy discussions that the term "ghetto" is being used synonymously with black and/or present day minority and in a derogatory way, so there are undertones of racism. So I think Heather may have been reading the boards and is trying to slam Aviva on that account? I totally get the arguments over on those boards. But since I didn't watch last night, I don't know what Heather and Aviva were saying.
