Fin - don't waste your time. It was so boring. There was no reason to have a three part reunion.

That's what I thought andme. They really dredged up clips of no interest to create a third show. I couldn't even finish it.

Weaver - it was dreadful and boring...and made me want them all to be fired. Especially Andy.

I think of "ghetto" as where the Germans put Jews and gay people and gypsies during WWII. On that score, Heather could protest. But she seemed to be just saying Aviva was being rude to people who live in modern day ghettos, suggesting they all swear … it was convoluted, but I think it was exactly what I said: posing, trying to argue that Aviva is being racist or prejudiced when 1. We know she is and 2. She just meant Heather wasn't born into poverty and is very privileged now and was posing by using the profanity.

BORING.

I am so sad they are gone. And OC is ending. NYC and OC are my favorites. When is BH coming?

I'm sure Aviva meant "ghetto" as a compliment.

Just like she meant you look good for 50 as a compliment.

I believe 80 percent of the population misuses the term ghetto. I won't harp too much...see my rant on the wwhl thread. I believe Aviva is one of them. I do believe there was shades of racism to her comments. But Holla...she can take a stadium full of seats. I really don't thing anyone needs her to fight for the black cause. She and rat face bug more then Aviva and her fucked up dad ever could. At least with those two what you see is what you get. Holla and rat face not so much IMO.

I think that Aviva is just obsessed with Carole because she thought that she and Carole would be besties, and she hates that Heather supplanted her in that role.

Heather is such an authority on everything. She drives me nuts. I think she is a chameleon. She hung out with Puff Daddy, so we get it, you are a lot hipper and cooler than these HW up-tight UES women. She is clearly a lot saner and more mainstream than Ramona and Aviva, but I just think she is normal. Like she gets that the world is made up of different people. I don't think Ramona really gets that. She didn't experience it, so it didn't happen. She doesn't have a world view. But it hardly makes Heather some wise sage. Kind of annoys me the way she talks down to US in her talking heads.

I think Carole is probably a stealth bitch underneath. I think her friendship with Andy is the biggest indicator of this. Plus the way she needled Luann all last season. The way she firmly sided with Aviva at the end of the season despite the way Aviva treated Ramona and Sonja in St. Barths. I think she thought she was above all this shit. But she fell right into the fray this year. It's like she's fallen and she can't get up.

I love your assessments, Fin, because I never thought of them that way, but I completely see what you're saying and I agree.

Just want to add about Aviva -- I think she's had issues her whole life. My father is somewhat like her -- gets along great at first, says the right things, has a good sense of humor, really listens … then little things go off and you start to back away until he (and Aviva) senses that you're not so happy and they become desperate OR angry that you "just don't get it" or don't understand and they find fault with you because they just can't blame themselves.

Way back from the time of her accident I think Aviva was fucked more than physically with the injury. I think her parents must have over compensated to the nth degree. "It's not your fault" was probably the phrase she heard most in her formative years. I think my father's issues are mental -- like he was ADHD and undiagnosed and this is the result. But I think Aviva's issues stemmed largely from that accident in the barn and all the fallout. She was probably isolated naturally or from fear and became completely dependent on her father (her mother being an alcoholic to deal with her pain would have been distant) … armchair psychologist here: I think Aviva's thing is "why don't they like me? I'm likable, Dad says so, Reid says so. I'm smart. They must be jealous!" …

So she got along great with Carole and Heather at first. They both have their own issues (don't we ALL? LOL) and that kept them from seeing her severe trauma because they blamed Sonja and Ramona for the whole situation. I think it's obvious they both watched the show before and had opinions about Ramonja which they brought into the show, more the first season. (And Kristin did it this season.)

But with Aviva's fuckery, she can't trust even the people who don't fully turn from her. So Carole was still having lunch with her, Carole was still giving her advice. Carole became the person for her to emulate so she could have what Carole has -- obviously Aviva is obsessed with Carole's Kennedy connection, to the point that she thinks Anthony was a Kennedy. THe second stage of her issues makes her work harder to force people to behave as everyone else does -- she has to see how far she can push them, while trying to "wear them like last season's Versace" (™ Dina Manzo). Throw in some famewhorish behavior of trying to "make a story" and get some press for her terrible book, and you have Aviva D.

In my humble and unschooled opinion.

But I hate her, so factor that in. ;)

ETA: And I think I've said this all before. I'm stuck in a Bravo TV-like repeat cycle.

ITA Icy. Aviva has some serious mental issues. But she has the money and resources to get therapy. I think losing a leg does a lot to a person. Having a disgusting pervert for a dad does something. And growing up with an alcoholic mother does something else. So take care of your shit Aviva.

Absolutely agree with Aviva. She hasn't been called on her shit since she lost that leg.

Re watching reunion III . I was chuckling at Ramona's wrinkles when she turns to Aviva almost on her knees to try to plead with her to listen Mona goes out of the lighting into the dark and it is oh so not flattering on her skin. That said ill never look as good as she does at her age. But. I bet the love rat and his mistress play that on a loop. Ramona looks old lady.

Also, Ramona states she filmed reunion an month after she reconciled with Mario. So the affair must have come out during filming. Can someone tweet a housewife and ask when, during filming, did they all know. It is interesting to know in comparison to when Ramona was having crazy moments. And what timeline is it relating to Mario singing that stupid song?

I think filming had probably just wrapped. They started before labor day and probably filmed for 6 weeks or so. And the shit hit the fan mid to end of October. But I bet she suspected it all along. I bet it was open secret among all of them.

But Mario is 60. I think Avery is probably pissed at him for humiliating Ramona. Announce the divorce/separation before being seen with the Krazy one.

I didn't even notice the Ramona part time part. Bet she made so many demands about what could and could not be shown that Andy decided part time was easier.
