I'm surprised he didn't mention the low ratings.
You know he knows about them.

I really don't get the bad ratings, this is the best cast they've had in ages.

I really do wonder if BH's sickening last season drove people away. It has me, I'll watch NY when I think of it, and if not, on reruns, but I think I'm very close to being OVER HWs and Bravo. I haven't read a single blog all season, and that is just not like me.

I've noticed that many people only watch BH/NY, and a different group watches all of them, and there seems to be a steady group that only follows the train wreck wives NJ/ATL because they really bring the drama/fights.

Well, First Look didn't encourage me. There is a cute scene with Carole. She is trying to get on her co-op board, so she has a room full of advisors. Of course its all fake. Entertaining, but totally fake. Why not get a real discussion with someone re the board? I'd love to know the politics of her building. And if you are getting politicians to coach you, how about some Kennedys?

Segue to Beth and Dr. Imabore in which she is very rude to him. I guess he puts up with it because its his ticket to famedom. She's up here and he's down there. She's discussing the Parisiella meeting with him. I didn't even get what she was shouting at him about. Another Poor Me scene I guess.

I think there was a short Dorinda/Ramona scene too in which Ramona proclaims she is moving on.

I'm not too hopeful about this week's show.

Well I think Heather and Kristen are basically FOs this season. Too much Bethenny alone and it is causing it to be uneven. But when it isn't a heavy Bethenny episode, it is fun. I like the cast too Mariah. I don't want anymore Imabore. Bethenny has had 40 years to deal with this shit, we don't need to see anymore therapy about it - especially since she always knows better than the therapist.

But the scenes in AC were good. I liked Ramona's lunch. Bethenny is good in an ensemble - that's really where she shines. Playing off and reacting to the other women and commenting on them.

I was watching original season OC and they all shot a lot of scenes with just their families and it was funny to watch, then they got together in twos and threes with one big scene of them all together. We don't have any families here that are either legally allowed to shoot (Bethenny & Sonja) are available (Avery, Victoria) exist (Carole) or willing (Heather and apparently dickhead Josh saw himself and said no). So the only family scenes we are getting are Dorinda. And I kind of enjoy those. I've learned a lot about Dorinda in them. Her BF is kind of gross and she treats him not so great and she loves her daughter who wants to be a Staahhr!

Ugh. More Imabore this week? He must have naked pictures of Andy Cohen.

At least if they're going to have him on, they need to do it somewhere entertaining...like on SS Minnow.

But if we have a scene on a boat, we'll have to listen to Bethenny wail that she can't go number two on a boat.

I get that she wants to spend time with her daughter. But then why go on an ensemble reality show? Andy could have given her her own show. Unless a lot if this is just set up to make her look good for the divorce proceedings.

The meltdown starts when Housewife Dorinda Medley expects Frankel's attendance at her birthday weekend in the Berkshires. But the Skinnygirl mogul – who shares parenting duties with her ex-husband Jason Hoppy after a bitter custody battle – plans to spend the weekend with her daughter.

"I'm not going on my weekend – which is every other – with my daughter, away," Frankel tearfully tells Housewife Carole Radziwill while furniture shopping for her new apartment.

"I never thought I'd have a kid – I live for her, and she's going through a hard time."

She's not getting much sympathy from the posters.

I'm sure it's in her contract that she doesn't have to go anywhere on her Bryn weekends. So she boo hoos because she knows everyone is whining about it, and she's clever enough to get her side on camera.

Wonder how she'd handle a child with the number of physical difficulties heathers son has?

Bravo probably gave all the newbie HWs the weekends when Bethenny had Bryn for their events just to fuck with the dynamic and make Bethenny look like she didn't care about them.

Wouldn't surprise me.

I'd be thrilled if Bethenny wasn't in my scene.

Yeah, I'm seeing that the producers probably are not in the Bethenny fan club like Andy.

Dorinda, however, fiercely protects her adult daughter, so I can't see her being too upset that Bethenny wants to spend her time with Bryn instead of coming for a 50-something's birthday weekend.

Lol, if they paid her a million dollars, and then scheduled the majority events so that she couldn't go, they're morons.

She's still the majority of the Show- imo. I haven't done a study- but it sure seems as if, even if she doesn't attend certain events- it's about 40% Bethenny. So I think the producers probably did monkey with her Bryn weekends to increase conflict- but just show less of those events to keep Bethenny front and center.

Absolutely she is getting the majority of the airtime. This week we have the Imabore session and apparently the scene with Carole. So I don't think she's being left out even if she's not in the Dorinda scene.

I'm anxious to see a Bethenny free scene in Dorinda's house in the Berkshires. I hope they give us enough scene time so we at least see the house and the property. She assured Ramona it had a fireplace in every room. (I though Ramona needed A/C, not fireplaces) I'd like to hear more about hubby that died. He sounds interesting.

(Did Bethenny have any sympathy for Kelly taking care of two young girls after her divorce?) No, I thought not.
