2nd vote for it. I love it. I'm not old enough to really be looking for the anti aging benefits, but it is better then a tinted moisturizer and gives great 'look' to my skin. Folks who are familiar w/ traditional BB Creams pooh pooh it b/c it doesn't have heavy coverage that the Asian BB Creams do. But the Asian BB creams have a very specific shade range. If you aren't Asian you are kinda outta luck. Maybe we do need a beauty thread - I lurve talking beauty. LOL |

Nope! (Ah... the things kids nowadays don't know about.. double record albums!) Shoulda have had you there on my airing porch to show me, cc! I used to fold up the NASA blanket and take it to the beach with me. I'm actually quite surprised that at 51 I'm not more wrinkled than I am, for being a blonde and all. |

Ditto for me. I always wonder what I'd look like if I had used sunscreen all these years and never smoked. Christy Brinkley skin?

Ok- I'm looking at the Garnier BB, since I have them stashed all over the house- lol- I'm NOT kidding. It says "skin renew- miracle skin perfector" it's spf 15,- but it evens, it brightens, it's light moisturizer- to me it's like a moisturizing very light foundation. My skin is course and dull- and it helps make it look a little smoother- less icky. Anyway- I love it. eta: it says it's for coverage, correction, and protection... I have heard the asian ones are "better"- but I had a coupon in January, and I got hooked on it. Edited by ranjake, Jun 19 2012, 09:37 PM.

cccharley and disco, I did both the foil lined double album AND the Nasa blanket - although not at the same time. Also, baby oil for suntan lotion = nice and crispy. Strangley my mother baked in the sun all her life and really has very few wrinkles even now in her 70s. But then she has great Croatian skin. I have my father's Irish/English palor. Blech. Shoppergal, I'd love to have a cosmetic/makeup thread. I learned alot from your posts on the FF one. Oh, I see we do have one. Okay - I'll head over there to find out what BB cream is, lol. And back on topic: I agree about Sonya this season. Not so fun and kind of pathetic with her crumbling townhouse and bragging about living with a Count 25 years ago. I almost feel bad for her. Almost. And yeah, the Toaster Oven Cookbook and the Sonja in the City party planner will never ever happen. I was as surprised as Ramona that she showed up to pick Ramona's brain without a notebook or anything. The baby name change was hilarious. At first I thought Aviva was kidding. Thanks cc for the info on Reid. Big finance man turning up for rooftop drinks in his lumberjack costume was odd to me. I'm thinking this was a weekend thing. I hope. Not sure what Aviva's appeal to the deep wallets. |

Thinking back on it now, seeing Reid in his Paul Bunyon outfit kind of cracks me up. Like a city boy playing at being a lumberjack. It looked so new and not lived in. Like "now I'm going to role play that I'm the man on the Brawny paper towels and Aviva and I will have hot sex, rustic sex tonight". |

I was feeling sorry for Sonja until I read this yesterday. Venice Three day bash[url]] Except I wouldn't really want to be Sonja in these situations. I'm sure she is comped, and on the prowl. Except there are probably many 20/30 something Eurotrash at these parties. I wonder if deLonghi is helping her collaborate on her toaster oven. Edited by weaver, Jun 20 2012, 09:43 AM.

I would love an Asscher cut diamond! There is a lot of talk on crazy days and nights that fading celebs travel Riviera/Cote d'Azur circuit as high priced companions to wealthy men. Maybe Sonja is looking for a new sugar daddy. |
