But Willy, without the SKG Signature Red, how would it be a tax write off? Lol.

I hope she scotch-guarded everything! I do love the apt though!

She's always worked from home though, it's where she's comfortable, it's her routine. Now that she has Bryn there is even more reason to do that. Hell, I think many people would do it that way if they could.

You may be right, Mariah. I thought Frederick was showing her offices.

THere are only two bedrooms in the new place. I don't think there is room for an office.

I like it much better than the mausoleum.

Only two bedrooms? That's odd. The first apartment was 3000 square feet with 4 bedrooms. This one is 1700 square feet. Is it in a much more desirable area?

She was looking for office space. Although that may have been a faux storyline.

I think Bethenny likes enmeshing her business and personal lives.

In my opinion it is not a more desirable area than her old digs but frankly I am no longer familiar with all the changes down in Soho. Every block is being renovated. If you do a Google map of that block you'll see that almost every building is under construction/renovation. For me it's too close to Canal Street which is a very busy street with both car truck and foot traffic. However it is much more convenient to transportation. However, that isn't really a factor for her given she's got the car and driver. I'm going to be down in that area in the next few days so I'm going to check it out.

Most of the buildings on that street used to have retail space with trendy boutiques on the ground floor. I think as converting has become so profitable, the stores have been turned into apartments.

Notice how the apt goes straight front to back? It's a long walk. And the second bedroom is right in the muddle, so I don't see how it can have windows because all the buildings are attached down there.
Maybe the windows are fake?

Only in Manhattan do you get so little for so much.

I think the new apartment looks great. It looks more spacious than then old one. Maybe the old one was cut up more bc it was more sq ft.

Maybe the windows are in the "open air atrium" whatever that is?

Have no idea what that means. Must be the latest euphemism for "small space with tiny air pocket."

I'll have to check out the building when I am down there.

I'd love Soho if I were young, but for me, the most beautiful, quiet blocks are on the UES, near the Park, near transportation, near shopping, and beautiful. Like Joan Rivers block.

When Soho started developing in the late 70's, early 80's, I was down there every weekend. There were so many artists shops and little hole in t he wall cafes. At least they've kept it relatively low rise (maybe zoning, I am not familiar with their zoning or historical designation) except for the monstrosities over by the river.

I used to LOVE soho too. Much rather live in the village if I were downtown. If you go to soho now is like living in front of Bloomingdales nits so crowded. Sometimes as much as 34th st. It's. No longer a family living area

So wonder why she'd buy a much smaller place there? Near Bryn's school maybe?

Oh most definitely. I just wish she'd quit doing that for Bryn's sake. Their home should be their home. It's one thing to turn an extra bedroom into a home office for someone who works from home but not if you need employees there too. And you don't decorate the entire house with your business theme. I guess we should all be happy she doesn't have a SG line of naughty underwear or something. Can you imagine THAT decor? :'(

I thought she rented an apartment for her office, but I'm not sure.

I think the new place is not big enough for office space.
