The more I think about it, the more Ramona needs to go. Most of her shit is manufactured or pre planned. I think this group could work sans Ramona and with Bethenny. Bethenny lightened up by T & C with the newbies and became more of a player with the group dynamic. The producers stopped giving her 3-4 talking heads to 1 of everyone else's, so it's not soooo Bethenny heavy anymore.

Even without Bethenny showing her real life (the dating, the divorce stuff), she's a good greek chorus and she does stuff, actually has a business that is successful, has great apartment and beach house, great clothes, tons of flaws.

Kristen, Carole and Heather has real relationships outside the show. Dorinda and Carole and previously Heather did too. Luann was gelling with those three too until she decided to go crazy and manufacture a feud out of something that normally she would be like "big deal" about. I think the whole "girl code" stuff is just Luann's attempt to create drama and stay on the show because they knew 8 was too many women.

If they cut Ramona and all her craziness the show might be actually enjoyable to watch. Kind of like season 1 or BH season 1. Some might say boring though.

I think cutting Ramona would be a huge mistake, HUGE! /Pretty Woman

After all, she is in a the middle of a huge life crisis, embarrassed, and newly single so it IS a new Ramona. Is her drama manufactured? I think yeah, some of it is, but I also think a lot of it is just loopy, self centered Ramona. At least we don't have to listen to how wonderful Mario is anymore. ;)

I also think Luann is truly angry at Carole and Heather. She was on WWHL the other night and it certainly seemed real, and wasn't there a report out there that she hasn't seen either of them since filming stopped? Or maybe Carole or Heather said that when they were on WWHL. (*yeah, I think that is it._) She is mad at Carole for lying, and I kind of get that. Lu says Carole DID come to her and say she tried to stop Heather bursting into Lu's room, and to calm her down, but couldn't, and apologized for that. She says Carole flat out lied when they called her over.

IF all of that is true, that would piss me off too. It's the kind of thing that would get to me, a lie "I never said that" in public. Of course they have that whole nieces' boyfriend stolen too thing going on.

I love that we didn't see Kristen's stupid center of the universe husband much this season, probably because his plugs were growing in. I'm kind of indifferent about Kristen, in theory, I do love the idea of a younger woman on the show, even one in an abusive ugly marriage. I loved her comeback to Bethenny! "Who said I want to be friends with you?" or whatever it was. Bethenny's face! I think Kristen earned Bethenny's respect with that line, although if she doesn't stop leaking/giving info out about Bethenny it probably won't last.

Yeah, I do think Kristen was the source of all of those ugly rumors in the pre-show press. I kind of thought it at the time, now I really do. Of course a Kristen-Bethenny war could be interesting too.

I actually really like this whole cast for the show. I hope they don't fiddle with it much. Dorinda shifted between wonderful and mean drunk, but I think she's a great addition too.

I kind of think Luann made up her outrage after the season ended. We saw her on the show deal with Carole about the niece and was like NBD. Then on WWHL as the season started she was p.o.'d about it AND said Girl Code was about. (Which I get IRL- but Luann doesn't give a shit about this stuff IRL). Luann was going in hard on Carole about Girl Code then.

And on T & C, I think Luann was mad about being woken up, not mad about Carole and Heather trying to catch her. I think Dorinda planted that in her head. Now Girl Code is really about Heather? Heather knew the guy was gone and at the time thought he was Luann's bc Ramona was all, "I don't know, go ask Luann." Luann would normally be "All cool" about this stuff, not uncool, the way she is acting. I think it's all for attention and selling iTunes hits.

But I get the Ramona stuff - seeing her going out and stuff, but the manufactured stuff with Kristen and Bethenny was just annoying.

I would have been pissed at being woken up that way too though. Ha. And I wouldn't have looked even 1/10th as good as Lulu, no make up, wearing underwear, hungover and on no sleep. Add cameras and a film crew? I would have been SERIOUSLY pissed off.

I watched First Look and it was very touching, Carole in London to pick up the urn. Dorinda is with her.

I like the show so much more when the big group scenes are interspersed with real scenes like Carole's. The first half of this season was all in the other direction, and I was ready to quit.

I think the 2nd half of the season has been really good. They diversified.

Mariah I think Luann was pissed at the moment. But IRL, I don't Luann would've held a grudge this long over that. I think she would've ended up laughing over it. She would've been mad at Ramona for sending them her way. That's why I think Luann was doing it for airtime/keeping herself on the show. I think they knew someone was going to be either fired or sent to friend of land again and Luann probably wants the full salary.

With Heather reportedly leaving, I wonder if they will keep Kristen. I think she is a nice balance to the lunacy. Josh didn't want to be filmed, so we don't get to see/hear his dickhead mouth and douchery. But she is balanced and normal compared to the lunacy of Ramona.

Sonja is so much better sober. I hope she stays that way during filming. It's funny because she was able to talk trash about Ramona and Luann and the focus wasn't on Sonja and her own drinking problems. She is a good greek chorus too. And she disses Ramona to her face with a good sharp knife leaving Ramona with a WTF?

"Who said I want to be your friend?" … uh, aren't you the same Kristin who boohooed at the beginning of this season because Bethenny didn't invite you to her birthday party? She's a dope. I'd be so glad to never see her again.

I don't like Bethenny's new apartment at all, but I love that part of Manhattan. But I'm one who would not live in NY without wanting the feel of a city just outside my door. I had a friend who lived in a brownstone (the one where they filmed a famous scene from THE WAY WE WERE where Barbra talks to Redford on a stoop) and her whole block had trees and felt like a family street, but I would never want to live there -- I felt like I had to walk a block to get to the city. My apartment was across from a school that took up 1/2 that block side, so it also didn't work for me so well, but it was all I could afford. To be able to afford and live on that block in Soho? A dream come true.

Ramona wasn't a formal contributor to the charity, she had no legitimate reason to expect her name on the signage -- realistically speaking, the signs would have been ordered and created weeks before -- not the night or week before when Ramona grabbed a handful of necklaces to bring to the RHONY shoot. She makes me mad sometimes, complaining about stuff that couldn't be done and she never thought of anyway.

I LOL'd at the psychic … all she had to do was watch a previous season of the show. She said "balloon ride" -- she didn't say "dying balloon floating in a bedroom" … that was all Dorinda. I do think people have extra senses, I know that times I get ideas and then see them come true, like think of a person who I haven't seen in a few years and Bam! there they are. Nevertheless, I do not feel she was legitimate, just exotic with the coffee (which looked disgusting) and the bowls of candy. I was a bit disappointed when Carol chose a lollipop. Such a stereotype.

Icy that part of Soho is not as you remember it. Tourists swarm the streets. In Soho are Bloomingdales, Chanel, and all the other mainstream high end stores from uptown. Last 10 years have ruined Soho. Frankly its more uptown than downtown IMO.

Brooklyn neighborhoods are now more like the original Soho.

I think Kristen saw the error of her ways! Lol. Really Bethenny didn't treat her nicely all season, so why would Kristen want to be friends with her at this point? Better that than a kiss ass at this point. Bethenny made it clear she didn't want much to do with Kristen, so I am glad that Kristen stopped with any attempt at trying to forge a friendship. Cordial is best.

I understand Lu being upset that Carole DENIED apologizing about it though. I also believe Lu on that one.

Bethenny gave Kristen's charity (and Kristen) lots of props, I think Kristen standing up to her was just what Bethenny needed to take a second look at her. THOSE tag lines of Kristen's need to go though. Both last years and this years are set-up-for-falls.

I think Carole lies to move the drama along.

I think "Pretty" in Pretty is Smarter than you Think is Kristen trying to play on Bethenny calling her Pretty as a pejorative term. It's a fail on Kristen's part.

BTW I am enjoying tonight's show.

I am too Fin! The season got off to a bit of a bumpy start, but I really like this group together.

Carole putting on the headphones was interesting. I guess she agreed to be filmed, but that was her way of ignoring it?

I've never thought anything Carole said was a lie. What caught your attention or seemed off?

The scene between Doris (what?) and Carole in London was A.MAZING. Wow. What they said, that they allowed the other person to talk and really listened, that they didn't seem to be playing to the cameras, though they had to be aware -- all of it was perfection. Some guy was on WWHL tonight and he was such a huge HW fan, he talked about this scene and how perfectly it was edited and I have to agree.

I thought Bethenny's party was great, from start with the invitations being delivered by cute men and looking so beautiful in presentation, to the party itself. Ramona … I just think she has a mental deficiency.

Heather with her "mama, how's it going, mama?" irked me. She wasn't on very much tonight. Nor Luann. Maybe that's why it was such a different episode. I liked the cocktail party in London a lot.

ETA: I think Sonja uses superglue on her teeth, that's why they break off again and again. And it was Michael Rappaport, who I usually don't care for very much, on WWHL. If he live tweets the HW shows, per Dorinda's tweets, I'll have to watch.

The SG party required muting for me. Couldn't stand the shrieking. The London party was such a nice contrast, large room, lots of space, no blasting music.

London looked so lovely.

I think the SKG party was one of those "Calling all my Girls" parties that the HWs showed up to. Pretty good turnout for SKG.

I think the death bed talks were so moving. Poor Dorinda going out and getting a taxi line. Horrible!! My mother and my SIL died at home - I can't imagine having to deal with that scene in a hospital. It is so surreal. That was an incredible scene for a HW show. When Dorinda was talking about the angels coming though, I did think Carole gave her a funny look but then snapped back into reality like - this isn't a time for snark.

How about Sonja talking about going to a veterinarian for dental work? lol.

Overall this show was just so much better. No fighting necessary for a good show.
