I thought Andy got a different job and contract? I just seriously doubt Andy is, or has ever been involved in contracts or pay scales. This was a showdown/strike between 3 wives and BRAVO, and one wife betrayed the others by caving, leaving her friends dangling out their with their asses in the breeze. Bluff called. Now, had Ramona being a loyal strike-mate, perhaps Bravo would had loosened the purse strings, rather than lose 3 wives, but they are well aware Lulu and Sonja are broke, and would cave. This is lawyer stuff, not Andy stuff. I love these crazy bitches so much! |

Andy is exec producer of the RH franchises. I'm sure he has a say in casting, salaries, editing, plots, you name it. Its his baby. |

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/11/13/business/media/new-bravo-deal-means-more-of-andy-cohen.html You are right, he remains executive producer on the RH shows. I thought that got delegated away after he was promoted, probably a few 'wrong' reports out there when it happened. Google brought up a better job description. That said, as producer he's watching the money, and he knew Lulu and Sonja would cave as soon as he eliminated Ramona as their weapon, because they need the money, any money, so much. Also, it was my understanding that Lu and Sonja don't get paid for filming, but only for what is actually shown on air, in other words, makes the cut to the Bravo show. That would make sense, because otherwise, why not delay stuff to get more pay? I keep wondering if something other than joining with that sleazy con man to get publicity for the Tipsy Girl restaurant is going on though? Ramona has been her friend for ages, and while she needs money too, post divorce? She keeps bringing it up. As for Lu, she's always been a pretentious bitch who lied, and was mean, but damn, I love her on the show. All of them are bitches, I think why I'm actually enjoying this season so much. No stick up their asses butter wouldn't melt pretenders here, no talking about who is talking, but actually speaking up for themselves without hiding behind others to do it. Jules is the weak link, but even she is bugging me less since she admitted she has an eating disorder, but watching her with the nanny interview was right out of nightmare nanny novels/jobs among the rich and famous. |

And now he has a show with abysmal ratings. The constant fighting is not my cup of tea. And having Bethenny in a position of power throws off the dynamics of the show. Give me Lu and Sonja in the kitchen any day. Edited by andme, May 26 2016, 08:23 PM.

Yeah, Andy knew they needed money and Bethenny kept reminding him in the papers. She said they had no negotiating power. I forget the phrase she so delicately (not) used. I don't think Ramona needs money, not the way she lives in two big properties. She just likes the fame. Wonder what will happen when Mr. Morgan goes on to his great reward. Sonja's daughter will be a YUUUUUUGE heiress; will she share with Mommy? Anyway, fighting paid off this week. REAL HOUSEWIVES OF NYC BRVO 9:00 PM 1,558 0.5 |

Oh, good point that the daughter might share with Sonja, unless the old dude writes his will specifically to try to prohibit that, which? He might! Still, Sonja would get some of it, one way or another, just not a big payoff. All housewives fight. That's just the deal. I just prefer these women because they don't hide behind others to do it. |

http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/season-8/episode-9/videos/next-on-rhony-bethenny-is-sick-of-the Previews. Shocker, Dorinda is drunk again, and angry again.

Yeah, I doubt if Sonja would be in Morgan's will, but she should get her $3mil if he legitimately owes it to her. And daughter's money will probably be in trust until she is whatever age Morgan deems her responsible. But Sonja won't be worse off; daughter will give her an allowance if she hasn't hit the rich male jackpot by then. Bethenny slept with that skeeve, why didn't Lu bring that up? Dorinda seems really drunk, and she can't blame it on John this time. Edited by weaver, May 27 2016, 11:01 AM.

I think that's one of the issues with this show. Bethenny can sling as much dirt as she wants, but no one is able to retaliate. Wasn't Do concerned about Sonja's drinking? Ha! I actually think Lu might be a good mentor for Sonja. She has that small home shopping line that seems to be doing OK. |

Yeah, why didn't Lu bring up the fact that Bethenny dated a rapist? |

The victim didn't go to the police but filed a complaint at their college and he was expelled. |

No, he wasn't- but it goes to "being real" for me- that the double standards for B are becoming more apparent; imo. ETA: Imagine Luann screaming- "You dated an alleged rapist. You brought him on vacation with Bryn!" I'm so happy this didn't happen, but I'm feeling like Bethenny's off camera "reality" is off-limits, but no one else's is. It was a University also, which just have horrible, muddled criminal justice. It's more the "I haven't dated"- also- she condemns Luann for "fucking" a married Man, but said on her twitter that she dates people who are "married like she is" which I'm assuming means separated, which Luann said her hookup was, also. ETA: Yes, Andme! Dorinda has GIANT balls talking about ANYONE drinking too much! I'm starting to worry that D has early Parkinson's (I hope not!) with that slurring- I counted (there were reruns today) it's been EVERY episode :( Edited by ranjake, May 27 2016, 06:16 PM.

I think Lulu wouldn't do that because she's be in danger of being sued by the guy. That said, it certainly sounds like something Lulu might do after a few drinks, and I kind of hope she does! (but not that she gets sued!) |

I wish on one of the episodes, when they're out in the middle of nowhere with no drivers in sight, that all of the Ho's start a nice long conversation about what a great guy and father Jason Hoppy is. Bethenny wouldn't be able to say a negative word about him on camera and she wouldn't be able to leave. |
