Mariah - what I'm saying is she *is* a slave to trends. Everything about her screams trend to me Yet she tries to front like she doesn't. That is what irks me more then say JFJ or all the other materialistic, looks obsessed Howives.

And dollars to donuts the clothes I'm snarking on are insanely expensive. I never said cheap or dated. That's not my point, maybe I wasn't clear.

No, I think I get it.

But I just think they are in her closet from who knows when and they fit so she wears them. I know this is shocking, but some people really don't LIKE shopping for clothes. She said Caroline used to give her a ton of clothes (according to Icy) and she's probably still wearing them. Ha.

(says someone who does wear fingerless gloves, and just put on a pair of jeans from the 80's and a ex boyfriend's baggy fisherman's sweater, and topped it with a tweed cap the other day to go grocery shopping.)

I agree though, that I bet the clothes she wears are expensive, or were when she first got them at least.

Oh, and I fully agree that I may be wrong, it's just my take on it, so far at least. Wasn't hers the closet with labels, "little black dresses" etc? I bet she has some from the 80s in there too! Ha.

Shopper - ITA - She's got a strange thing going with men...maybe it is a constant need for validation to prove to herself that she's still hot. I'll tell you, I'm no Ramona fan, but I think she exercised remarkable self-control when Carole was flirting with Mario. I'd have been on her like white rice.

LOL..gotta give her credit, tho...her dry cleaner says she's very nice and down to earth.
Carole's dry cleaner loves her!

I doubt that Aviva or Heather or Ramona or Sonja or Luann know who their dry cleaners are -- let alone GO there. I'll bet they all have someone (interns! assistants! housekeepers!) who take their stuff in and retrieve it, or they have it picked up and delivered. Score one for Carole being normal and unpretentious.

But it is not a sign of pretentiousness or lack of pretentiousness to have your clothes picked up and delivered in Manhattan. Its just a convenience for people who live in high rises and have doormen. I do it and I'm a nobody, and my drycleaner knows my name too. And Carole's shop was not a drycleaner, the name was "King Garment Care." BWAHAH, only in Manhattan.

I kind of like her style, but she is certainly not a person who doesn't care about clothes. Every item is calculated. The fingerless mittens/gloves have been around for a long time, but got very fashionable since texting became so prevalent.

As for her being worth $50mil, I do not buy it based on her real estate records. But I don't remember how wealthy/poor old man Prince Radziwill (Lee's hubby) was. He got out of Poland during the war and who knows if he got his money out.

Tony Radziwill (Carole's husband) had a sister. I wouldn't mind seeing her on the show.

I think Carole is dressing like a hipster, a current trend or at least current as in the last couple of years. My teens and their friends dress like her.

I agree that her style is preferable to Ramoners. I like Luann's style. Clean, elegant, American. I think the big necklaces come from being such a big person that she needs something to detract from all that body.

Sonja looks good with her tailored day wear, but she like Ramona likes the shiny dresses.

a fake award makes anything better.

That singer was a trainwrek.

I hate how Sonja pooches out her mouth when she thinks no one is looking, but knows that everyone is looking at her. It's kinda like she does it to be noticed, but to pretend she doesn't want to be noticed.

What was with that singer? That said, Sonja should have never agreed to set up a party just before she left for 3 days in jolly old England. I have no doubt that Sonja can throw a hell of a party, especially if someone else is picking up the tab.

Loved Carole playing the one up game. Tempers all over should explode soon.

(fixed Carole's name)

Umm, no. It makes you awesome.

How about if the peg leg flew off and hit someone in the head?

Even awesome-r.

Heather following Ramona is just petty and stupid - as is her fake ass horsey smile. And there goes LuLu trying to push teams.

Sonja should have thought more about Reid and Aviva before booking that 'band'!!

Carole against the Countess - this should be interesting. LuAnn, I think, is finally showing her true personality. She reminds me of a woman I know, actually, who looks similar, too. I love Carole's snarky remarks, but this is so going to come back to bite at the reunion. It's going to be fireworks, with all these talking heads so far!

Ooops, I meant Carole playing the one up game.

Luann could be fun, but she's such a pretentious social climber.
