I think Sonja's smile is funny because she has discolored teeth or something. There seems to be a tinge of gray, like from antibiotic use as a child.

I dunno why she does that pooch of her mouth, but it reminds me of Lisa Simpson.

I could watch LuLu say "it hurts like a bitch" all day long. I think, as a lot of you have suggested, that if I knew the real LuLu who lets her freak flag fly, I'd probably like her. Heather totally set that eyebrow thing up - probably so she could just have another ill timed attempt at intervention.

Reid and Aviva - that bedroom they put Ramoner and Mario in just didn't look like it belonged to the rest of the condo. Seeing how they interacted/judged Ramoner and Mario is why I prefer to never be a houseguest. They were perfectly cordial, but it's just weird IMO to be in someone else's space while they are there. But then I'm weird, I also can't totally relax in a hotel so basically what I'm saying is I love to travel yet can never relax when traveling. I've been known to pick hotels over staying with family. Yeah I'm weird.

Come on Carole - Cut LuLu some slack - She needed to approach your friend for dresses because Ramona banned her from David Meister. I missed the designer..are they talking about Reem Acra or Naeem Khan...they mentioned Obama so I'm thinking Naeem - but again I can't stand rat face or her friend.

ETA- the rest of the season looks epic. Did LuLu cheat on LeRoss with the Jack Sparrow character? Juicy, Juicy Juicy..yep, mos def taking time off for the Olympics b/c the previews said 'coming up this season on NY'

Sonja's logo is awful. It looks like "Sonj" with a picture of a lady at the end.

Wow, her website is dreadful. Milsaps apparently wasn't an English major.

Sonja is a weekly fashion contributer to Star Magazine, which has more than 10 million readers. Her fashion roots start at FIT in the late 80's and a juncture in Europe as young fashion model wear she modeled for top designers in Milan and Paris. She returned to the US and was the curator of Arlequin, her Oglivy and Mather Award- winning boutique. As the star of RHONYC, she continues regale us in costumes designed by her friend Chris March of MAD Fashion and she is a muse of Marc Bouwer.

Get some new interns, Sonj

I'm sure Mario would like to blindfold himself and muzzle Ramona.

OK, am I dreaming or did Ramona say that the wine she tasted needed more flavor and needed to be more like her wine? And it was her wine. Why was she so proud of herself?

Really, Carole? Another Pumpkin Head reference?

OMG, when Ramona orders, she yells at the waiter.

That restaurant was noisy -- we could hear them because they were all miked, but I think they were having trouble hearing each other. I think that's why Ramona seemed to be ignoring Reed. She doesn't want to admit to having hearing loss, maybe, but also, the place was very loud ... not quite upscale, huh? But a place that serves something that looks like that Kobe beef hotdog did .... 'nut said.

I thought that graphic designer/packaging specialist miscalculated. He went with pleasing Heather and didn't pay any attention to the actual client. Maybe he thought it was a soft sell, easy pickings and getting on the show meant whatever he did would be great. I would have thrown all his stuff out if he'd said to me that he knew better than I did what I wanted after admitting he hadn't even looked at my stuff and didn't know what my name was. I recall on Bethenny Ever After, B quizzing the company that wanted to do her web site work and maintenance and catching them out on not being able to explain what her brand was. It does matter, and was a huge fail for Holla as a business woman. Maybe there was a freebie involved, i.e., Sonja wasn't going to have to pay for the branding design work because of the show -- but still, they should have cared more about who she is. Frankly, I was appalled that they took a logo with a graphic element and tried to sell her on a font only logo. How BORING. And the person has already indicated they like the graphic route!

I loved the view from the Drescher apartment in Miami - the beach and water ... geez, I want to be there NOW. Gorgeous. But boring inside ... much too much white on white for me. But they must have lots of money, which reminded me of her "poor me" claims not too long ago about Harry failing to pay child support. Bitch, please.

I thought that was HORRIBLE of Luann, trying to trick Ramona. But I agree, Andme, I thought Ramona did diss it at first. But that was her first sip of it, coming straight in the door. Sometimes wine tastes bad on the first sip, right? I think there's some trickery going on in that element, too, where it mattered that they grabbed her quickly as she came in ... I hope someone calls Luann on that. And given that Jacques was part of it, I hope that Luann DID/ DOES cheat on him with Jack Sparrow.

The previews for the rest of the season was the most exciting thing in the whole hour.

Yes, Naeem Kahn (spelled right?) was the designer, married to that jewelry designer -- friends of Carole for 10 years. Luann was awfully forward to ask for a loaner so quickly .... maybe because she didn't sell her book, she doesn't feel anyone will know that she's breaking her own rules. But since she co-opted all those rules and we all know enough of etiquette, she looks like shit, IMO. Her manners are often lacking.

I thought the Sonja toaster oven looked great. Surprised me... I wonder if they're for sale yet. I might get one!

So Lulu and Le Ross tried to trick Ramona at their wine games party? Shocker. Even Le Ross is looking for drama. I thought it was as obvious as it was shitty. I'm glad Ramona did okay.

Speaking of the Countless, I lol'd at Carole and her friend outing Lulu's asking to borrow clothes from Naeem Khan. How embarrassing. Gah. But then Lulu has balls - how else can you explain that music video?

The dinner conversation at the Drescher's with their respective parents was uh, interesting.

That is what I thought. She failed the test. But I did think the test was mean. If she knew it were hers, why didn't she say "why are you tricking me, this is mine."

As for Sonja, they misspelled Ogilvy and Mather on her site too (Oglivy). O and M is an ad agency, so what difference does it make that they awarded some boutique she "curated." Sonja, sell that goddamn townhouse, rent a two bedroom and move forward with your life.

To me the funniest conversation was Aviva's father and Reid's mother and the conversation about Boca. Reminded me of Seinfeld. Oh, I also loved Mario's imitation of Jacques.

LuAnn was ballsy and inappropriate in asking for a loan from Naeem K. She is going to be so pissed that it was revealed. Hey you don't get from Berlin Ct to European royalty without being ballsy, but her desperation is showing. She's cutting back on the Botox too, doesn't look quite as smooth and polished this year.

They seem to have a lot of good stuff in the hopper. Why are they holding it back? Shows have been dull as dirt.

I think the Aviva's husband likes to stir the pot a little to much. At their first dinner with Ramona and Mario, he asked Ramona if she had problems with women other than Heather, and then said that he thought Heather was jealous of Ramona, and here, he and Aviva brought up the Lulu stuff. It seems like their job is to rile up Ramona. And Heather's job is to rile up Luann.

I think a lot of the stuff we are hearing from Carole has been said to Andy when they are together. It is funny, but she is like a dog with a bone. Does anyone remember the fashion show scene from Zoolander where Murray is calling his wife and telling her to put away the casserole and get on the L.I.E. and all of the attendees are shocked that he is so unhip? That is what Carole and Andy remind me of. There is this whole elitist we are cooler, hipper, more cosmopolitan than you and therefore can snark on you at will. They think they are funny, cute and clever. IMO there is a whole "I'm up here/you're down there" thing going on. And let's face it, Ramona, Sonja and Luann are clearly down there compared to some of the others.

Weaver I loved the Boca conversation too. It was very authentic!

And in her candid twitter pics, she looks like she's getting her hair cut at Great Clips. Or using a Flowbee.

I don't know if I see anything wrong with Luann asking to borrow an outfit. I really think it is commonplace for tv people to borrow outfits to wear to events and the designer gets exposure. I know Luann isn't a real actress or anything, but in their little world, they borrow clothes. They all have been doing it with other designers. I don't think David Meister (he of the shiny bridesmaid cocktail dress) is friends with any of them. And remember the days of Luann wearing Oon-ga-roo (Ungaro)? Now Carole, Aviva and Heather may not have done so yet, but maybe if they stick around next season, they will be doing it too.

Dammit - here I go defending Luann again!

Ramona was probably yelling at the waiter because he had an accent, so she thought if she talked louder, he would understand her better. ;) (Not really, it was probably just a loud restaurant, but this is something I could totally see Ramona doing.)

LOL, Finestra. Ramona is always in a state of twitchy shouting.

I feel bad that poor Ramona and Mario couldn't screw because there were too many family pictures at the condo.

Lulu in a bikini.

She looks good. Nice bubbies.

There, finestra. I did it, too. Said something nice about The Countess. Of course I have to also say that she'd look even better, sleeker, in a one piece. And that photo reflects weaver's statement about Lu backing off the Botox. Her forehead...it moves!

Also, I don't think it's bad that she borrowed a dress from a designer. You're right that all the celebs and faux celebs do it. I think it was the speed and stealth in which she did it that got Carole's knickers all bunchy.

ETA: link fix and to add that Le Ross is Le Hairy Beast.

Speaking of Ramona and Mario screwing, I definitely got the vibe from Mario when they were getting ready that he is totally hot for Ramona. Who would've thought?

And Luann may have been stealth, but I think she seized an unexpected opportunity. She went to the jewelry designer (I don't think she borrowed from her) and the clothes designer was there right? I think she saw an opening and went for it. Ballsy girl from Berlin and all. And really, Luann has such a strut and confident demeanor that I would think designers would prefer her to the others. Aviva is too thin, Heather is too thick waisted, Ramona is getting the pooch and is short, Carole is drippy and Sonja is shorter too.

I liked the way Aviva addressed her father's remark with a droll "that's disgusting dad." And I would die for that Miami Beach apartment. What a view.
