I got the impression that Sonja brought the lizard. I could be wrong. You're right - it really was inappropriate. Carole really handled it well.

In Aviva's blog- she says her husband bought it...

So that's why Aviva likes Reid around... he does her dirty work. ;)

And I kind of sympathize with Sonja and the whole period thing. Been there, done that. It sucks. And as for her "young ovaries"...Sonja, don't fool yourself. Those heavy periods are a sign that your time is coming to an end...

Been there, done that too with the period thing. The difference was that I snuck away to the bathroom discreetly and managed to clean up without involving anyone and making a fucking show out of it. No one needs to know you're even on your cycle, let alone see anything. Shit, my own husband doesn't see that stuff. The only way he knows it's "that time" is when I shoo him away when he starts poking around at night.

I still love Holla. Anyone who can get under Ramona's skin is aces in my book. Sonja is a bitch for not being truthful. Those two deserve each other. I hated Aviva this episode with her instigating; damn, just let that stupid wine game go already. I actually liked how Jacques started playing the piano to help change the subject; a very sweet "STFU" moment.

Ramona can't let anything go. I like that Heather gets under her skin too. I hope that now that Ramona's seen the broadcasts, she knows Heather wasn't lying and Sonja didn't ask for her to be at the photo shoot. We'll have to hear more about that at the reunion I'm sure. Sigh. (As I just posted in the media thread, Carole's blog says this photo shoot issue is a 'continuous source of friction' through the season.)

I never want to hear about Sonja's period again. That went beyond crass over to disgusting.

I think the contrast between Aviva and her father is kind of funny. She seems so uptight. Dumb idea to take her husband on a girls' trip, even if Carole's boyfriend will be there. Let the man miss you a little and take care of the kids by himself (ok, with their household help)!

Loved the way Ramona said she didn't eat pizza, like it was something impossible. New York pizza is awesome and I miss it.

I think it would be HEAVEN if it turned out that "Jacques" is his stage name and he's some out-of-work actor Luann hired to play her boyfriend on the show! Maybe he was at some party she was at, hired to pretend to be David Schwimmer?? Wouldn't that just be great?

Icy, I love the way you think!! I still swear I heard Lulu call him Jack but then my French isn't nearly as good as hers. *snort* Did you know notice Ms. Master's Degree in French [Aviva] told Le Ross he was mean in French on his way out? I guess I need to rewatch to see if Lulu caught that.

Ramona is right, she does have mental issues! I just wish she weren't as tourrettes as she is and could hold back a little.

She just cannot do it - even when tries to hold back she has to announce she's holding back. Like when Aviva asked the group, "You don't have a problem with Reid coming do you?" Ramona shouted, "I'm not saying anything. Normally I would but now I'm not." Of course that's one of the things I enjoy about her being on my TV.

I loved the obvious eavesdropping by Holla! and Ramona at the last party (what was that party for?).

Me too. Then she starts talking behind Ramona's back about how hurt [wtf?] she is that Ramona was talking about Le Ross behind his back - which was perfect because Ramona was evesdropping on that convo. Talk about manufacturing drama - Holla is at it full time. The only reason she cared about Ramona's crack about Le Ross was Ramona said it. By the way, I think that was Ramona's party - the one for her magazine covers/red wine launch - or was it the fancy friend of Sonja's party? I can't remember either.

I think Sonja had Caesar come into the bathroom with her because the blood was all over her clothes and she needed him to get her a robe. I'd be so fucking embarrassed, I'd go straight home, damn the consequences. I also noticed the careful way she got off the table from the last set-up.

I'm betting Holla and crew want money before Sonja can use the work and that causes a shit storm. All through the shoot she was chopping up the pix and finding uses for them, besides the obvious "box design" they were supposedly intended for .... and we all know, there ain't a Sonja Toaster Oven at Target.

I actually thought Sonja's concept was more appropriate. She really cleans up well when she pulls the patrician face.

They could sell the shirtless boy toaster ovens at abercrombie or hollister.

I agree. Even though I thought both concepts were sketchy, I liked hers best.

Those magazine covers were striking. Didn't look like Ramoner, but they were striking. I think she looked like a cross between that Devorah Social Life magazine chick and Avery in one of them.

I think the yoga scene sums up Ramona beautifully. STFU. What happened in her childhood that makes her not be able to shut up now? Was she never allowed to speak? Does she feel she does not have worth unless she is talking? Does she have some processing disorder and a mild form of tourrettes coupled with lack of filter and immature desire to seek revenge?

Without being a diagnostician, it does seem like some sort of Tourette's Syndrome. She repeats the words, the main words, over and over. In that conversation with Sonja, she kept saying "steamroll" -- like at least five times, even though Sonja never said it.

As for Ramona seeing the show and "realizing" Sonja never asked for her to be there -- they are all too well aware this is an edited package. Sonja merely has to say she asked Holla, but Bravo cut it out to make her look bad.

You talk a lot when on speed, I'm betting some kind of diet pill, or mis diagnosed as ADD for those drugs.

Ramona is just key to this show working though. Her lack of filter and energy just make things happen. Constantly. She can also crack me up. I wouldn't want to be around her very much in real life, but I so enjoy her here.

It's weird, on the show I actually like Aviva quite a bit. Then I read her blog and realize what a complete bitch she really is. So strange.

Holla makes me sick, can't stand her. At all. She's pompous and a liar and stirs the wrong kind of shit. She just bugs me endlessly.

Sonja is a trainwreck, but almost in a Blanche Dubois kind of sympathetic way, and she can get loose. That's her jumping naked into the pool in that preview, right? I think she's a superficial washed up whore, but I have a soft spot for whores. :)

I still love Carole, maybe because I read her book, maybe because I like the way she stays relatively calm and doesn't humiliate herself, maybe because she's doing to Luann what so many of us have wanted to do for YEARS. Knocking her off that stick up her ass.

Meanwhile, this is the first time I'm starting to enjoy Luann a bit. I think it's lack of Jill keeping her in constant nasty gossip "team" controversy. She was funny with Ramona tonight, I enjoyed them together.

Damn, Mario has now become a Housewife. I wish he and his dead tooth would just go away.

Carole is proving to be the voice of reason. Aviva is coming across as a kook.

Oh how I would love to see Carole and Ramona go away on a girls weekend.

Is Ramona having a nervous breakdown? She's always in a perpetual state of Elaine Benes dance.

Ewww---Sonja's got the Tara Reid lipo belly.

andme - did you see Jr. Tink Tink? That melted even my cold heart.

Holla didn't bug me this episode at. all. Maybe b/c she was barely featured and when she was she gave us the gem 'gotta keep it tight and right' to Aviva's son.
