They definitely could have told them that. They do tons more than we know. I actually loved their drunken antics this trip. They made it. What a solemn horrid trip it would have been with Reid and Aviva with their insults and sedate vacation. I'd rather go hang out in Boca at an old age home. I don't even think I could stand a dinner with those 2 judging every single thing I did. I could just picture them going home following the dinner and discussing how vulgar or boring or stupid I was. Unlike Aviva I don't mention my edumication as a way to impress people. I just hate people like them and unfortunately there are too many here in NYC these days. I'd rather hang out with starving, drunken artists. Wonder how I can get invited to one of Sonja's crazy parties. I'd love that. How fun it would be to meet Harry. Did we ever find out if Aviva dumped him or did he dump her for being a stick in the mud. Heading over to stoopid Hos to find the fake bag selling link. Does anyone have it? I haven't read the blog yet but I agree Finestra. Not unlike Lulu pretending she hosted the Moroccan debacle last year. There was a snafu with Ramonja showing up late then - remember Luann shouting, "You're late!! Dinner was at 8:00!!" Ha!
I feel the same way about Ramonja cc. The crazy thing about Aviva being soooo judgemental on everyone else's behavior is her own father is a Pervy McPerverson and as inappropriate as hell. Yet she pretends it's Sonja cutting loose on vacation that's bothering her. I don't know but I'd bet Harry left Aviva - and it still drives her crazy. If I was Sonja I'd start dating him and bring him to everything Aviva and Reid attend. Edited by Cosmocrush, Sep 11 2012, 05:23 PM.

I like Carol more or less, but how many times is she going to use a form of the word "inelegant" to describe Ramonja? She used last week and again this week. Isn't an elegant drunk kind of an oxymoron? I would love to party with Sonja, too. And I don't get the big scandal about men being brought to the house for some sexcapades... Sonja is single and without a partner back in NYC. What did Aviva think it was going to be? A week of sitting in the bedroom painting toe nails and playing true confessions? Aviva, stop already. And I find her comment about classless rather rich, considering her father told Carol he would give her a "squirting orgasm" like 5 minutes after he met her, and at the dinner table, as well. |

Sonja has at-home dates and away dates. I would love Sonja to start bringing good ole Harry, who evrrybody has loved and loves, including Reid. Aviva's whole premise for being mad is that the women were not gracious and thankful to Reid upon their arrival. While she may have heard that the women wanted Reid to stay in a hotel, no one was ungracious when they initially arrived. She came loaded for bear. Edited by Finestra, Sep 11 2012, 06:29 PM.

That cracked me up but I totally know what she was saying. When I was single my friends and I thought the same way. The guys you meet on vacation are rarely the same kind of men you would include in your real life - especially if that life included work and/or kids. Clearly, The Countess shares the philosophy as well. Speaking of which, I was kind of surprised to see the preview of her saying she is "terrified" of losing Le Ross. Only because Lulu seems more confident than that to me. Although I don't see her ever doing well without a man in her life unlike say Ramona who I think would be fine. |

So how come when they initially arrived and Sonja and Ramona were swimming topless, Aviva had such a shit fit and had to blog that they must have been trying to turn Reid on or something but when Carole whipped her top off and jumped in the pool, Aviva jumped in right after her and didn't say a peep? Wasn't she afraid the sight of all of those boobies and wet clothes would just sent Reid into some kind of frenzy? Or is it only when Ramonja does it? |

Also, as Alex pointed out, they arrived in broad daylight, at an airport less than fifteen minutes away, so why did they arrive at the mansion after dark, and why hadn't Aviva calmed down by then? |

I don't Reid was around then. Plus, Aviva is a buzzkill bitch. Interesting about the broad daylight vs the evening. I have no idea of the timing but I do know it can be daylight when I leave work and dark by the time I get home 30 minutes later - if the timing is just right. There probably was some production involved but it wouldn't take much. Aviva is batshit crazy. |

Someone over at TWOP admitted they were waiting for Ramonja to take off Aviva's leg and beat her with it. I'm not proud, but that cracked my shit up. Maybe the arrived early evening when still light. I'd imagine that even for a weekend Aviva didn't travel light, hell, she probably had her wet leg with her...is there customs that might have chewed up time? And maybe they stopped for dinner. Carole at dinner, when she tried to 'speak' for Sonja is exactly why I don't like her. It's hard to articulate, but it's a cooler then thou, smarter then thou, hipper then thou vibe that I just can't stand. And when she presumed to apologize for Sonja it just illustrated everything I hate about the rat fink. That plus the couples dinner BS just made me hate her more. And two weeks in a row....I enjoyed Holla. I still don't like how she came in amped up from the jump and the whole London stuff. Though she seems to be back to acting butt hurt on Le Ross's behalf next week. |

That is hilarious. If only Ramonja had thought of it. Yeah, I'm a Carole fan but the speaking for Sonja didn't sit right with me either. Or the exclusive double date which I'm guessing was Aviva's idea but Carole still did it. Still, I think Carole comes off hipper and cooler mostly because well, she is hipper and cooler than the rest of them. Of course if she was really hip and cool she wouldn't be on this show so it'a all context. Holla! has mellowed out to the point that I like her these past couple episodes. She took a run at Ramona but Holla! said last night on WWHL that she has worked for Sean Combs, J Lo, and Beyonce so I'd guess she knows crazy and how to deal with it. She nailed it when she said Ramona can only fight with one at a time. |

I think Carole was a pain in the ass on Luann's Le Tamarin day. By bringing up the apology and arrival, it was just stirring up the shit again. I really really hate to be insensitive, but the JFK flight think happened a long time ago at this point. It irks me that she just mentions her "friends" accident instead of JFK and Carolyn. Yes she and Anthony went to the island together 20 years ago and now she is her with her sometimes fuck buddy and a bunch of crazy women. Her nostalgia to me seems a little inauthentic. YMMV of course. But going off and whining that no one followed (when Ramona said in her blog that Carole motioned to her that she didn't want to talk) and then getting a pedicure with Aviva when the rest were eating was rude. And the "oh no no no, we aren't going to dinner tomorrow, that's tonight" lounging on the bed was just annoying. Carole knew they were flipping their shit and should have said, "listen, Aviva is a high strung lunatic and I need to calm her down, we will meet right after dinner" or "join us" would have gone a long way. And the inelegant drunk shit - isn't that part of being drunk? Meanwhile, Ramona and Sonja were not at the table when they were going on and on about plane's crashing - they skipped away when Aviva went into her dramatics. I don't think Ramona was drunk the last night - she was drinking water with the women. I feel sorry for Sonja and her lushery. Aviva really knows how to drive a nail into the coffin based upon next week's preview. I thought Holla! was great too, but she was totally fed up with Aviva and then ragged on Ramona in the taxi. Despite being two drunk party girls, Ramona and Sonja were right - Aviva does not listen to anyone. Can't you just see her snapping at her kids not to interrupt. Alex' video blog provided a lot of insight into the whole thing. She thinks Sonja's comment about taking what comes out of her mouth to the bank was breaking the fourth wall -- that Sonja was trying to tell Aviva she wasn't going to look good on camera and to hold back ... but Aviva didn't get it. She also pointed out that Aviva was going on and on about what she had to do to get there, but the instant Sonja listed what she had to do, Aviva turned it around to "it's all about you, isn't it?" with that smirk. God, I just wanted to slap her! .... meanwhile, Alex said that remark was insensitive, because all of them had to do a lot to get the time off to be there -- Sonja, at least, had to get someone to stay with her daughter. Aviva already has nanny(ies), so for her and for her children, it was much less traumatic. AND she was only there for two days. That's what she spends in Miami on a regular basis. Ugh, I'm still so OVER her. And I wrote my first negative response to one of Carole's blogs. That was some pretentious shit going on there. |

My first love died over 40 years ago (God I am old!) and my heart still stops when I go somewhere we were together, and sometimes even when I am around river rapids, even if it's not Green River, or is 500 miles away, since he died in rapids. I wasn't even there. My best friend died almost 17 years ago, and my heart aches when something reminds me of her. (Suicide) My brother was murdered somewhere between those two events and I, to this day, start crying when I hear the song Ripple, which we, in an impromptu way, started singing at his grave. Horrific deaths, and long drawn out illnesses like cancer, especially when those who died were young and vibrant tend to stay with you. I do think Carole handled the whole Aviva thing badly, especially the double date crap and speaking for Sonja. Totally agree that her blog missed the mark as well, I think she was going for funny/pointed, but to me it read as bitchy. (Even though I agree with the points made, this was a TV vacation and not the same at all) I do not think that being reminded of her husband on that island, or being bothered as those idiots went on and on about small planes crashing into the ocean on islands was over the top. I thought they were insensitive assholes to not realize that there was someone with them who lost her best friend and her cousin by marriage that way, and to shut the fuck up about it.
