Nothing about Sonja says "good cook" to me. I have never purchased any howife product, but I could see the tie-ins with some of them, particularly Tre's cookbook. I could see Tre not only cooking for her family, but cooking quite well. I don't see that AT ALL with Sonja. I see a drunken, used-up whore who probably ate Top Ramen until sugar daddy Morgan came around. And then she had cooks to do those pesky jobs for her. I don't buy for a second that you can prepare a decent meal in a freakin toaster oven. It's one step above a freakin microwave, something you use to heat shit up and it won't get soggy.

Speaking of the former courtesan, I loved seeing Holla finally give it to her. I had no trouble with the cover at all. Isn't that Sonja's brand? An aging horny socialite who "cooks" using a toaster oven? I thought it was campy, but in a good way.

Ramona continues to be batshit crazy, but thanks Aviva, you assclown, for actually making her seem sane next to you. Quite a feat, you psychotic freak. I thought it was lousy that Ramona had George kicked out, but man that guy can't take a hint to save his life. How many times did both Ramana and Carole say "thanks for coming" and/or "you should probably go now"? I do hope Aviva's blog was her last one, bitch is draining.

What I think is that there is no difference in toaster ovens. If she wants to differentiate from the rest she should think of an item that helps in using a toaster oven - some kind of utensil or such - that would assist in preparing the food. It could come with it. Get the idea. Get an engineer/inventor to make a prototype. Patent the damn thing. Go on Shark Tank - easy for her with her name. This would give her another 6 million people seeing her product even if she doesn't get investors. I'm convinced that is why half the people go on this show. They want free publicity which is quite smart actually even if they don't get an investment. This may be too complicated for her. Bet Ramona could really help her with this stuff though. Say what you will she knows business. I'm not Sonja though. Perhaps she'll get a terrific lawyer and come out on top. I like her though and hope she gets money from her rich ex. Honestly, if I earned what they did on Bravo it would be enough for me. I'd be thrilled. She must be making a few hundred grand a year and then add in appearance money. Not too shabby.

What exactly is Ramona's business? She seems to be jack of all trades, master of none.

Is her wine selling?

I find Carole boring on the show. She voices opinion in the talking heads, but not right while it's warranted.

At least Heather and Aviva state their opinions loudly and clearly

IIRC Ramona has for many years been a buyer for re-sale products. She makes the decisions on which things will sell at stores like Marshalls, Ross, and other higher-end stores, buys the over-runs or out of season stock, negotiates prices, and supplies the various stores. Season one we saw her at that job.

In addition to that she has Tru Faith jewelry, which I believe is connected with Mario's main business, that whole awards/statues thing for trophies and stuff. This year she launched another wine, and is often tweeting about traveling for promos of her wines.

I'm a maxxinista so I'm versed in Ramoner's business. I love me some TJ Maxx and/or Marshalls. Ross, now that's bargain basement and I can't even go there. Used to like Filene's and Syms, but I believe both of those closed down.

I think her bread and butter is the 'diversion' though that's the illegal name for it and Ramoner deals in the legal end. She buys bulk lots then sells then to discounters right? Anyone else remember that?

Oh and this really chapped me - Mario gave rat face all those free trophies and the first thing we see is Willard being two faced and smack talking Ramona. And was anyone not impressed. 500K is it since they started the foundation when her hubby died - that's not much per year they are raising. Maybe he she concentrated on fund raising vs. trying to be so hip she'd do a little better

Wonder how all the online discount sites have affected Ramona's reselling schmattas?

Ramona's company is essentially like Overstock. She sells excess inventory to other stores. I assume she sells to TJ Maxx, etc, although they'd probably have their own people.

Remember when she interviewed for an assistant? One was too fat, one had pimples, one didn't dress properly for her one room office, etc, etc, etc.

I see Carole was back with her cool hipster "Dickens" gloves (I call them that since I always think of some starving orphan on a street corner warming his hands by a fire whilst wearing them. Come to think of it.. in my imagination the said orphan is usually a ratface, too).
So, since this was pretty close to a year ago ( we know for sure during the holidays) where is Carole's new book? Ramona's wine is not on my Target shelves, either. (I know it's in liquor stores, but she announced during an episode that Target was going to be selling it). And Sonja.... another season down and all you got was a new logo?
Aviva... she is a bitch, for sure, but I have to say I love seeing her lose her shit on my tv screen!

It is enjoyable on one level. On another, I want her to wise up ON CAMERA and NOT GO THERE. Once. Or again. This has been like five or six shows where every single time she's seen, she's freaking and obsessing and piling on more pain! STAWP (TM KKB), just STAWP.

She [Sonja] should do what Bethenny did. ONE product first, build from that. Or do the cookbook and toaster oven together and separately, then the rest, IF the first ones sell.

Bethenny was smart about how business works, she was a go getter. SkinnyGirl was far from her first idea - it's just the one that hit big. I don't think Sonja has any idea of what she's doing or how to do it. There is nothing in her background that would persuade me to invest in her business ideas. And unlike other un-savvy ho-wives cough*Teresa*cough she isn't a hard worker. No, Sonja should stick with what she knows and concentrate on bagging a man while she still has her looks.

The pairing I want to see is Aviva and Honey Boo Boo's mom. Maybe on Wife Swap. Ha!!

OMG how funny. I don't watch HBB but my walking partner does. She tells me enough funny stories about HBB that I'm sure that swap would be hilarious. Don't all the kids, including the brand new baby, drink Mountain Dew? Aviva would implode on the first day.

I think HBB's mom could generously feed her family for a month on what Aviva spent at that health food store, probably even 2 months. That is what Aviva doesn't get. OK, she had an unfortunate accident as a child, but has led a full life with education, travel, a husband (oops, husbands) and children and she never has to worry where the next meal is coming from. As Ramona said, many people wouldn't mind giving up a limb to lead the life that Aviva has.

I think, though she doesn't discuss it, Ramona spends time at that woman's shelter she raised money for and has heard enough stories to be grateful for her life. Aviva and Heather are raising money for expensive treatments -- like more than people earn in a decade. Ramona's cause raises day-to-day funds. My own niece has serious health problems and some children's hospital group is totally funding all her costs, which are hundreds of thousands. So that's great. I appreciate people who raise money to help children. But it's not as up close and personal, the way ĦQueViva!* and Holla do it. I'm not saying this clearly, I hope my meaning comes through and it doesn't seem I'm being harsh to children who need new livers or new legs -- I guess i just think these are issues ĦQ! and ĦH! can worry about for a day and put aside the rest of the week (maybe H less, since her son continues to have issues) and Ramona lives with it every day, inside her head, and has blame attached, probably. (We know that ĦQ! doesn't blame herself!)

* Some reviewer just linked calls her that, I like it!.

or a digit - good thing baby HBBC has 11 digits.

I enjoy Sonja, but it's just not smart to go with a toaster oven. I mean shit, even Martha Stewart doesn't have her name on appliances. A few of the celeb chef's have small kitchen electronics, but even then it's the novelty aspect - like the George Foreman grill. I think Sonja is charming and though I haven't read the book, but I'm thinking Sonja would be good doing some sort of retro tongue in cheek thing ala Amy Sedaris' entertaining book. But then again, Sonja is dead serious when she said she cooked for the Churchill's so guess anything involving parody is out. And before folks go off the rails, I'm not saying Sonja is Amy or anything but I could see Sonja working a persona like that.

What did you think about Aviva taking off the jacket after Holla! specifically said not to? I guess Aviva doesn't think it is a big deal because it's not like she raped anyone or anything.
