Did anyone notice that when Holla was called up to the stage after the show, Aviva stayed there with her, like she was special too. I smirked at that.

What did you think about Aviva taking off the jacket after Holla! specifically said not to? I guess Aviva doesn't think it is a big deal because it's not like she raped anyone or anything.

Lol Finestra! Aviva thinks she is a special snowflake, runway rules do not apply to her. Red carpets should greet her upon her tardy arrival to St. Barth's. Univited old goats should be able to harrass a hostess at a swanky charity event if said goat happens to be her father. She should not be expected to attend anything above the third floor even though she lives in NYC. She does not fly except to Miami and then only accompanied by her second husband.

Icy I think I get what you are saying. While all are good causes, there is a definite difference between throwing an annual swanky big money fundraiser and spending time in the trenches with the organization and particularly the people they help year round. Both important, but very different. I think Ramona has spent time doing both. She's empathic. I think Holla! knows her talents and gives them to a cause she believes in and is grateful she had the resources to save her child. Totally empathetic to the cause. I like how she kept her eye on the big picture and didn't engage Aviva over the jacket. Aviva? Not so much. Everything revolves around Aviva and her phobias, grudges, and missing leg.

How do we know that Ramona spends time year round at her charity? She just doesn't seem the kind-hearted to me. I can see her harassing the poor battered women and trying to foist her leftover facial products on them. Maybe give the sage advice they're gonna die alone.

Didn't Sonja say that Ramona thinks that if you stay fit your husband will never leave you?

All true andme, including Sonja saying Ramona told her if you stay fit your husband won't leave you but poor Sonja stayed fit and he left anyway.

And lol at the foisting the facial products. Maybe I should work on Ramona's PR team because I don't know how often Ramona works with the DV organization she supports. Even though I guess I said it I didn't actually mean Ramona works with them year round - I was just talking about the difference between big fancy fundraisers and direct contact with the organization and that I thought Ramona did both. I can see her doing that.

True, Cosmo. Who knows? Maybe Ramona does donate a lot of time to the charity. Let's hope she tones down the “tell it like it is” attitude if she does.

I thought it was awful that Aviva took off the jacket ... someone, oh, that reviewer, said that Aviva's issues are about control. So she won't get on an elevator or airplane where she would not have control. And she didn't want to wear the jacket and insisted on controlling that moment.

But I thought it was a bit of payback because I was (however silly this might be) upset with Holla for beating Avery at the Ping Pong tournament. I would never willingly defeat a child, not even an older teenager. Let them have the joy, my basket is full. Holla, with so much, didn't need that moment and ... I just thought it was low of her to win.

Aviva was wrong to take off the jacket, but I will admit I got her point. I didn't notice her false leg at all with her arms uncovered as well. She has nice arms and shoulders and that extra skin showing did take the attention away from her leg. Still completely wrong, but I did notice that she was right about that FOR HER, certainly not for the designer though.

Meh, Holla beating Avery didn't bug me either, probably because I would have tried to win as well. Just that whole competitive thing, not for the win really, just hard to hold back in such a fast game. Avery is in college now right? I'd agree if she was a bit younger.

I see your point. I would have been caught up in the game and tried to win it too though. :$

I take no prisoners - I would have tried to win and then when I did shouted an ' in yo face' :)

Speaking of ping pong - anyone see TAR - ping pong tourney as a road block and they had to play this little 10 year old phenom. He kept downgrading his equipment, finally playing with a frying pan - and one team still couldn't win a point, one stinkin' point. He had frying pan, they had regular paddles.

From Reality Tea...this cracked me up. And they're calling Aviva "Meviva".

Shopper - I have Amazing Race taped. Do we have a thread for it?

I don't see one andme - wonder if we have any others who watch it. I don't think the thread got a lot of posts over at FF

Those silky culottes were just horrible an you could tell she thinks she's so cute - ugh, that's why I can't stand her.

You know, it was really weird that Aviva went to the "He didn't rape anyone" when talking about his behavior at a DV fundraiser. Just off.

I think Bethenny had some access to an Aviva meltdown and that is why she recommended her. CCC have you had any run ins with Aviva 0- you seemed to have her pegged from early on.

I agree about Aviva but at this point I just can't stand her at all. I don't even enjoy watching her drama. I just want her off my TV.

I don't think Heather should have let Avery win. It was a game, she won fair and square, and Avery isn't 5. Sort of OT, but I don't think always letting kids win, always giving kids trophies, etc. is actually good for them in the long run. I think the hardest part of being a parent is letting our kids fail sometimes. That's life and when you don't let them fall down and pick themselves back up you create an Aviva who never learns that sometimes you just have to suck it up and keep moving. Willy's parenting tip of the day LOL.

I definitely would not have let Avery win. She's on her way to college, has been pampered all her life, and doesn't need any more entitlements.

We killed each other over cards and Monopoly when I was a kid. It was more fun that way.
