I don't either- I think she's gotten away with A LOT of shit that she calls everyone else out on. Like if Luann said "Ramona LOVES her pinot and she can't keep her HANDS off it!" Would that have been fair? One thing Jill said on WWHL was interesting- I do miss the family interactions. I know they had a few this year- but I really do miss how in the old days we'd see them in their homes with their families and children more, "seemingly" spontaneous. I think that's why the show didn't interest me as much this year as in past seasons. This year really seemed like a bunch of women, not particularly close, paid to be at the same events and grouse about it. eta: I don't think Sonja's stuff is EVER going to be done- maybe season 10? For her sake, I hope it will- but she was in the press TODAY saying she needs investors for her company- and she seems sooooo scattered. If she didn't like Heather's help- she should have been a business woman and went with the Martha Stewart guy. I blame Sonja. Get your ass out of bed and take your own vitamins :) Edited by ranjake, Oct 16 2012, 05:42 AM.

And the tongs! I didn't like Carole's continuation of the pirate talk "Well, doesn't that (protecting our children from seeing ourselves drunk and horny) beg the question of why not to bring home the pirate in the first place?" Well Andy, I guess it is okay for you to take it up the butt but not Sonja? Aviva really can't help herself. That is why she is perfect for reality tv. Edited by Finestra, Oct 16 2012, 07:47 AM.

She needs to walk the runway again. THAT was the Ramona that made me laugh. So unaware of what a loon she looked like. Trying so hard to be a vogue moe-dell and failing hysterically. I never get tired of seeing that and it's the only time I've ever watched a Ho Show, said, "WTF?" out loud and rewound because I couldn't quite understand what I was seeing. I don't like Ramona for the same reason I don't like Bethenny and Teresa. I don't like hysterical women. IRL or on my TV. Ya don't have to find the love for Moaner, andme. Every franchise needs a villain or we wouldn't watch. (Just in case anyone is wondering why we watch. ;) LOL ) She sounds like she's yours for NYC. Mine, too. Bethenny bugged with her hysterics and shrill voice but under Ramona's hysterics is a lot of malice. Doesn't matter if you're an adult or a child. If you piss her off and you've got a skeleton in your closet, she's gonna expose you. |

I think Ramona would be a horrible person to be acquainted with. But I love her on the show. I love the cooch airing. I liked how Luann or Holla! or someone said, "how can you ask Ramona that type of question when you know she can't answer it properly?" about Luann liking men. Ramona did apologize to Luann who accepted it. Go figure! I think something else happened at the end of the season which solidified the couches. There were media reports at one time that the original wives balked at filming and banded together. Heather in her blog accuses Ramona/Sonja of being hypocrites when it comes to Aviva, but I don't see it that way. They brought up old pervy George as a way to show Aviva's hypocrisy. |

And didn't Aviva try to slide right out of that one! She has to forgive him, he's her only father. Gee, too bad for her, because I have two fathers! (Not.) When she liked them she had patience. When she didn't like them, she didn't have patience. So ... she had all those ugly opinions inside, she just kept them locked away until they motivated here to unleash? Sounds like a shithead was disguised for a while. But she was still a shithead. |

Just the way I [and plenty of others] brought up Pervy McPervyson for the same reason.
Exactly!! She even said as much when she said something about when they were all getting along she thought Ramonja were entertaining but when they weren't getting along she unleased on Ramonja. Oh but that was because her "amazing, lovely mother" died of alcoholism. |

In Lulu's blog she says something like, "at least Ramona comes straight at me so I know what I'm dealing with." I kind of think that is it with the Ramona like-on-the-show. Her mouth, usually, blurts out A truth of a situation and then all the other balls on the pool table start to bounce off one another and spin. She's good for a show like this. As far as liking her in real life? My first instinct is to say no chance. BUT, if I really think about it, I probably would like her. I do appreciate people who say what they are thinking, and I don't have a problem shutting bullshit down. Sonja can shut Ramona up easily, just by giving her a head's up that she's going to far (with her.) No hard feelings on either side, an easy friendship. She's too hyper for me, but in small doses I think I might actually get a kick out of her. |

LOL- she was a drunk; but she dressed BEAUTIFULLY :) If I was Aviva's Mommy I might drink a lot, too. |

In one of the interviews Aviva gave before she was a housewife, she said that her mother drank because she couldn't handle what had happened to her daughter. I think, if my husband was George, I'd want to stay tanked all the time. But from Aviva's perspective, everything in the world happens because of her. |

Wow, Icy that's pretty telling. Good grief, she really does believe it's all about her and her missing leg all the damn time. I would think someone who has lived in NYC all her life and has the resources she has could have found a decent therapist by this time. I wonder if she has even ever bothered to see one? Maybe she should spend some time at a Fisher House with young soldiers who are learning to carry on without a limb or often mulitple limbs. And speaking of charities, her One Step Ahead Foundation website seems a little shady. There is a biography of the founder [not Aviva] and a pay pal donate button. It's not a 503C as far as I can tell. In fact there isn't even any information about how long it's been in existance; only saying the founder started it "several years after losing her own leg." Aviva is "the national spokesperson" according to her own website but the only mention of Aviva on the foundation's website is a separate pay pal button if you'd like to make a donation in her name. What??? |

Ha - 2nd session of reunion is on now and Ramona just shuts Andy down with the alcohol problem question. She basically tells him, "Shut the fuck up already about the alcohol." He looked a little shocked that she showed him up. |

So - lost footage and NYC gals don't even warrant voice overs introducing the scenes. So instead we just get a jumble of crap that was too boring to make the real cut. |
