That's the same thing Tree did with the whole "unattended" at the christening thing. Kathy never said anything about Audrianna being unattended but that's the spin Tree put on it and then bitched about non-stop. And I find it funny that Tree is all in a snit because she thinks Kathy is trying to claim those are "her" recipes when they aren't even Tree's recipes, they're supposedly Tree's mothers. And if they are all "old family recipes" then why is it such a stretch to think that Tree's mother and Kathy's mother might have at least some of those recipes in common? Even funnier is the whole cookie thing since that photo in the book is just a photo, there wasn't even a freaking recipe for them in the damn book. Funny how Tree didn't say anything about that to Kathy at the book signing and you'd think Tree would know what recipes in the book since she supposedly wrote the damn thing. |

Sure she's being tricky but she still didn't say it! The way Bravo edits who knows who is tipped off about what to say. They play the dumbos Yes Tre thinks she is really smart actually. She plays dumber than she is. She is stupid but she knows exactly what she is saying for the cameras after all these seasons. I wouldn't trust that woman with a goldfish. That scene in the RV when she confronted Kathy was so incredibly set up it was so dumb. It was like they fed Tre lines and since she is no actress it came off so fake. Like she really had to ask her about that. You can pretty much tell when Tre has lines as well. She has a tell - she pauses and has to think and it comes off the opposite of natural. I have always known there is a script but it's beginning to look fully scripted like -you do this now, say this now, here is when we do this, go after this one now or that one etc. Nobody in real life talks like this. Another example. Does Tre really want to be nice to her SIL? Does she really want to her Missy sing acapella? No she doesn't. She wants to embarrass her. It's so obvious and fake. Give me a break. So she keeps saying I really want her to sing. I really want to hear her do it in the falsity, false, false acting voice she does. Ugh I cannot stand her. Edited by cccharley, Aug 2 2012, 02:00 PM.

OTOH, I think Tree has learned a hard lesson from being herself, uncensored the first season with her cousin and SIL. She looked like a lunatic -- and what could she do after? Too late once it's filmed. So now she's taking her time to express herself -- I do not think they script anything. She might think a lot before she opens her mouth and her hesitation might be trying to remember how to say something in her planned way. Or, yes, producers could suggest questions*, but I doubt they would ever say "Say it like this" ... that would be very dangerous with someone like Tree, who might reveal that ala Kelly "I was forced to go to Scary Island" Bensimon and Andy would have to do the denial dance again. * As in "gee, Teresa, I wonder why she said that? We were all wondering when we filmed that scene. Do you think she was trying to suggest something?" ... Edited by IcyAll, Aug 2 2012, 03:01 PM.

That's what I mean. I don't think they feed her exact lines but they tell her to bring things up and it takes awhile for her to say it and it's simply not natural and looks fake. The entire scene looked set up. Did the producers tell Tre and Missy to walk to the beach and have a talk? probably - they were freezing. Did they suggest what to discuss - probably. Did they tell them exactly what to say - no. |

I guarantee you if Melissa did sing acapella then Tree would make fun of how she sounds or say that she sounds like everyone else who sings in the shower. I think the lines are probably fed to Tree by her PR people. I think what happens is Tree is scheduled to film with Kathy. Her and Kathy are supposed to discuss cookiegate, for example. So Tree's PR people come up with what Tree needs to bring up and how she needs to say it. That's why she fumbles all over her words, it's hard for her to remember all of those lines, especially if she is getting them fed to her last minute. |

I agree with this - if you recall back when she flipped the table, that seemed staged too, as well as the witch hunt at that fashion show - I was dying when she retold that to Juicy with the spin, "joe, you know I'm like, nice, right, like, nice...so i go here, and she's here and she pulls out a gun and like, tries to kill me..." or something horribly inaccurate like that. It all seemed like someone put her up to that. |

I don't remember the table flipping well enough to say if I thought it seemed staged or not. I do remember the brouhaha at the fashion show and thinking her "I just want to say hi" was totally bogus and intended to start trouble. However, I think at that time, it was the producers putting Tree up to it. I don't think Tree really had the PR team she does now until she started "writing" these cookbooks and getting her endorsement deals. Now, I think everything she says and does is run past her team first, unless someone catches her off guard and unprepared with something they know is going to make her flip out. |

I do not think the table flip was planned at all - I don't think the producers were thinking of Tree as capable of that in that season. She revealed that her brother and father had done table flips in their family dinners (and now we know JoeGo, it makes sense, right?) and I recall the episode very well ... she had a slow burn, confusion, Danielle was snarky back at her and it became what it was ... I can believe that in some discussion with her friends or family she'd said "Danielle better not get me angry, 'cause I'll go all Patterson on her ass" ... but I don't think the producers knew that was coming at all. Perhaps I'm naive! |

The actual table flip may not have been, but the lead up to me seemed staged or like someone fed it to her. Why would she get mad about Danielle being engaged 19 times, like, who the hell cares? It seemed like she just had someone egging her on to do that. |

PROSTITUTION WHORE!!!!! ;) I don't think it was staged either. Didn't that happen season one? I think most of the S1's for these shows are pretty organic and it's not until subsequent seasons the ho-wives/producers get all crafty and try to "make good TV". Nope, I think Teresa is/was just a dumb hothead who was already worked up and angry over Danielle - not by the producers but probably by Clownie. |

I think Caroline is just mailing it in literally at this point regarding blogs. This is the entirety of her blog from last week:

Good. Clownie and her spawn need to get the hell off my TV. So sick of seeing her meanmugging the whole freaking episode. You are not as amazing as you think you are, and all your children are completely worthless. |

they have a little worth in providing me loads of snark material. Programming note - according to my DVR there is no new episode tonight, but there is a WWHL. Just wanted to give you all an FYI. I'm going to do a manual recording b/c I can't believe there's a new WWHL and no new show. Andy is too lazy, if the howives were in repeats you'd think he'd go on vacation too. |

I'm saying this just once. Caro needs a nose job. Just off the tip. Maybe she wouldn't look as rude but I'm probably wrong. |
