I hope someone calls into the reunion and asks Clonie just what the fuck she is doing hanging around with her mother and her mother's buddies.

So I watched some of the reunion clips on Bravo. Apparently Clownie had a tummy tuck at 39. Surprising that someone so naturally tiny would have a tummy tuck.

Yeah they all saw money though. Melissa is just one of all of them. God Tre would have left Joe years ago if he didn't buy her new houses etc - pre kids. Obviously from her comments season 1 on when she was somewhat honest in her emotions and comments and not necessarily used to reality tv. I won't live in a house that was already used etc. That's all changed - hasn't it? None of them deserve our time but here we are snarking on them and giving them more publicity.

Yes WW just like you I couldn't care less about them. They could drop off the planet and it would be a better place but then who would we talk about? AVIVA! It will be the new show after EVITA! Both are evil.

Someone over at TWOP posted a question about how Melissa, being a second grade teacher and working four jobs at once, could have afforded a boob job. Maybe the four jobs were SO she could get a boob job ... or maybe she has a worse secret than being a stripper.

It occurs to me that Tree may have said "Melissa was a dancer at a strip club" to Cow and Cow interpreted that (correctly) as "stripper" but Tree didn't mean stripper, she meant dancer ... because she's innocent of that life, but Cow is not.

Nice TWoP post Icy. I guess your insomnia was worse than mine last night - I only got through three pages over there.

But, man alive, I bet he is beyond angry with those producers. No wonder they got shit canned. They played favorites so egregiously that they concocted a poorly executed 'set up' of Melissa that made it entirely obvious that Tree was not involved. They tried to damage the ONE person on this show that is making a shit ton of cash for Andy - Teresa. I think Andy has tired of Mama Manzo and her 'fambly' schtick and Melissa just grates.

Plus, I think the whole thing is insulting to the viewers to think we couldn't see that Tre had nothing to do with this - this time. Sure she can be a mean nasty bitch but she's an off the cuff fighter - she explodes in rages not masterminding some stupid plan to embarrass Melissa.

On the other hand Jax was probably desperate at the time to keep the spotlight on Tre lest her stripper past comes to light. Which just shows how stupid Jax is because I don't think the viewers would care nor be surprised about that.

rye, your theory of Bravo using brilliant reverse psychology on us to root for Tre makes some sense. But I'm not sure the producers are that smart or Tre's income makes that big of a difference to them. It's an interesting idea - I wouldn't rule it out.

I think the many producers for RHNJ spend a LOT of time sitting in their offices at 30 Rock hatching very brilliant scenarios for the future of the shows. This is what gets them (and keeps them) in those fabulous offices at 30 Rock. We've seen them stop at nothing (Hello, Russell) to get the buzz going.

"Everyone loves an underdog" is an old trick to manipulate viewer's feelings. Not just on the ho'wife series. Can't tell you how many times during other shows - heck, even major motion pictures - I find myself rooting for the underdog. jEven if the underdog has been shown previously to be crazy or a bitch. And expecially when the underdog is being bullied by an ugly Clown or a mad Cow. Raise your hand if you ever felt a little sorry for Danielle. Or Camille. (another masterful manipulation by Bravo, imo. Camille is a See You Next Tuesday but by the end of the last season she was the best dressed, most sympathetic character ever. I'd've bought a decorating book from Camille. And she didn't even need the money. LOL)

Could they have just written the script to make Teresa appear more saintlike and likeable? Maybe. but it would have been boring. The Man/Gorg/Laur's wouldn't have been utilitzed into the gold they've become for this series and I think the viewers and ESPECIALLY the blogges are smarter than that. Had they done it that way, we wouldn't now be talking about all these conspiracy theories. Yeah we all hate the Man/Gorg/Laurs NOW but what would we be talking about if they hadn't of pulled their shenanigans.

AND if they hadn't have been manipulated THEMSELVES by those brilliant producers I keep talking about. ;)

Holy hell, that's alot of producers. And that's just the ones that stuck their name on imdb, lol.

It does make sense to root for the underdog. If anyone has been manipulated by production it's this dumber than normal cast though. Just when the family relationships mend - they get ripped apart over basically nothing. Maybe production couldn't have that? Maybe they didn't plan on the Napa trip going so well between the Tre and the Gorgas? I don't know. This group seemed the most organic of the franchises but now I'm not so sure.

I agree. I can't exactly explain why, but I have a soft spot for the Fidget.

I think he's the most naive (dumbest?) of all the NJ adults and the one who's probably feeling the most burned. If he didn't have such strong, traditional roots, I doubt his marriage would survive this. Maybe it still won't.

Team Fidget. I think he's been cuckolded by Melissa AND Bravo.

I feel bad for the fidget too. We see his parents, we know he came from a decent family life, and has a loving sister (regardless of her misfires.) I have a similar situation like the fidget/Melissa in my own extended family so I can see how this unfolded.

I forgot to mention, I rewatched again last night and caught Melissa saying to Joe, "Roll down your window and say 'shame on you' to your sister." She said it a bunch of times, she egged Joe on, but he didn't say that, he said some other stuff to her, but Melissa was really pushing her "shame on you" agenda. Master of Puppets.

Holy hell. I just saw last night's epi for the first time.

FUCK Melissa. She kept asking Joe why he showed up. Because you CALLED him you dumbass. Velvet, I was gobsmacked when I heard her, repeatedly, instruct Joe to roll down the window and say "Shame on you" to Teresa. Puppetmaster, indeed. She's manipulated the Fidget throughout the whole relationship. She's got his kids so she knows she's set forever. He's not the kind of guy who will ever turn his back on those kids. You can see his pain in his TH. OMG, I am SO being manipulated. LOLOL.

I don't think Teresa had anything to do with the set up. I DO, however, believe she's told anyone who would listen that Missy was a dancer.

I can't even look at Caroline and Clone.

Rye - in the media thread I just posted a link, and if you read through that (it gave Shopper a headache it was so long, LOL) at the end there are a bunch of comments stating what you just said - that Melissa pushes Joe with what to do, that she ripped apart the family with her own agenda, that she's tried to manipulate people before in her prior life and how that unfolded. It's fascinating reading (to me, anyway, because I have no fucking life!)

Someone here brought up the great point about Clonie hanging out with Clownie - not only at the fashion show but the reunion too. She lives with Clownie, works with Clownie both at Calf-Face and RHONJ? Geezus, Lauren you are only going to be in your twenties for so long - get a fricking life already. I don't think she has any friends but seems like she would want to at the very least spend some time with Vito rather than grab a free meal at the PFS. Oh wait.

My guess is it's 2.0 that chooses to spend all of her time with Clown. It's the lure of TV. It's clear the Clown despise her daughter. We all knew 2.0 was a glutton, but who could have realized it was a glutton for punishment.

I think the Manzo kids hang on to mama's apron so they can get face-time on the TV and publicity for whatever their product-of-the-week is.
