If they are the decent people they seemed to be then they are probably horrified at the thought of their son hooking up with the Manzos permanently. But Vito running the Brownstone while the dead weight known as the Manzo Princes will get all the credit and most of the cash. In season one the story was Vito was Christopher's best friend before he started dating Lauren. Then Mrs. G's son was his best friend until the Manzo's bounced her out of the Gorga's Christmas party. No wonder he mostly hangs with Albie and Albie's boyfriend Greg. ranjake, I'm with you. Juicy Joe will always be nothing more than a thug criminal to me - also known as an Old Troll. |

I tried googling- but no results. My friend who still lives in my old hometown is going to see what she can find out- I'll keep you posted. It seems like the Gorgas are in for a big financial mess, regardless, if what realitytea is saying is true.. |

Ranjake - check out the court records for NJ. Here's the link, it doesn't work after business hours, so try tomorrow: http://njcourts.judiciary.state.nj.us/web1/ACMSPA/ You put in the persons name, so put in gorga. Joe will be under "Giuseppe" and "Guiseppe" and also "Joe" because well, the first two someone spelled his name right, then wrong, and the last one is the American version. The system isn't super user friendly, but you can select next to the link of the case you want and then hit the button at the top that says "party inquiry." It will show you who is suing who/m. Tree deleted my comment about Hag-sister Lysa getting foreclosed on. Damn. |

Wasn't the Brownstone also involved in some lawsuits? I think the entire cast (except maybe Dina) is sleazy as hell. It really seemed like Bravo was going for "mob lite" to me with this one. |

This is the only franchise with family besides BH -- and they're the best two, IMO. I mean, I loved NYC, but it pissed me off a lot, too. I hate all the people in NJ, but the show is such a train wreck, it's hard to look away. But that first season, Clownie really was in the middle of the web -- sister Dina on one side, SIL Cow on the other side and Teresa orbiting, keeping Danielle at bay ... Now Teresa is the center, with Melissa and Kathy at her sides (though nipping at her heels, as it were) and Cow orbiting, keeping Clownie from a direct assault. If only T could enjoy it. Or if Clownie would go the way of Danielle, that would be good, too. |

I would like to think that Joe is the loveable Juicy that Tre described season one. But if all accounts are true, it's the cheating that makes me wonder why she is still with him. With her fiery temper, I am surprised she doesn't haul off and kill him. Unless she was raised to believe that it is ok for the husband to step out. Her parents are off the boat, so maybe some of that old world sensibility was ingrained in Teresa. |

Did Facebook suck everyone's brains out? If I have to read one more inane post on FB, punctutated by "Just Sayin", my head's gonna explode. I blame Danielle Staub for this. |

Re: Tree and Joe's marriage, I wonder very much what Teresa's parents marriage was like. She reveres them and if her father was a jerk to her mother, it's not hard to figure why Tree stays with Juicy. |

Hmm. That is interesting. We've only seen her parents a couple of times, right? One at that lovely Christening that ended up in a free-for-all brawl. ha. I think Teresa really, really loves the guy. Her loyalty to him is both admirable and mind-boggling at the same time. And I'm sure as an old-school Italian she would most definitely look the other way if he had another woman. OT (but not really) - I'm not sure if I should link to Stoopid Housewives here, but apparently Lauren has a new makeup line out called Catface. Yup. Catface. Apparently, for around $20 (I think), a tube of lipstick can be yours! Edited by oleander, May 2 2012, 12:05 PM.

Catface? Not a good choice of words for someone who is weight challenged. Too easy to jump to Fatface. (And believe me, I know, I've heard 'em all). |

Fatface. I snorted out loud at that one.. I mosied on over to Cow's website (yeah, yeah, but I'm bored) and she has a Parenting link. I clicked on it, and here are the results: http://www.jacquelinelaurita.com/category/parenting I just found the no results thing hilarious. Of course she has no parenting tips. Of course. |

Lots of interesting stuff on that site. Teresa and Joe seem to still have quite a few cases outstanding- and Joe Gorga has a bit, too. The only "Manzo" name I recognized was Jamie- isn't that a brother? These people get sued like I make coffee.. no confirmation on if my old neighbor is suing Gorga; but it looks like someone is suing my old neighbor! Yikes! Jersey! |
