I love Juicy's "Go Scratch!!!" and it made me start to wonder if part of their culture is not to curse at women. He was quick with the "Go fuck yourself" to JoeGo, but I don't recall him using the f word with Kathy or Cow. I could be wrong, but it just seemed ironic that Old School includes not cursing at women (you can call them cunt behind their back). But if that is the case, it can explain the colorful "you eat your money, you need a shrink, go scratch" etc... |

I hope someone can shed some light on this for me because I don't get it. Here and on other sites, the same posters who think it was great that Joe Gi told Jac that she eats her money, are the same people who are appalled that Reid called some of the NYC hos overweight cougars, or whatever he said. What's the difference? Isn't it a man calling a woman a fat ass? Is it because some people LIKE Joe Gi and think it's okay for him to talk like that? |

I didn't really think he was calling her fat, just that she is crazy and wallows around all day eating, drinking and tweeting - he's not just saying she is a fat ass, but a crazy, lazy fat ass. I think it is a given that Juicy is politically incorrect, whereas Aviva portrays Reid and herself as upstanding members of society.

I didn't take "eat your money" as a food reference. I took it like, "you burn your money" in that, she and Chris spend it like it's water. I like the fat reference more though. |

I forget, velvet, but is NJ the one you don't watch often? Wondering because I'm thinking you didn't equal the comment to Jac actually eating her money because we get A LOT of footage of Jac stuffing her yap. A lot. It's obvious the editing monkeys enjoy that. There was some woman on another site who was SO upset with Reid for what he said. Then, a few weeks later after Joe makes that comment, same woman is acting like it was the best line all season. Someone asked her why it was okay for one and not the other and she replied, "because Jac IS fat and the NYC wives are sticks". Like, WTF? |

Oh no, NJ is my fave. I watch it over and over. I think Joe speaks without thinking, so I just don't know if he meant it in a food reference or not. I'm 50/50 on that. I think eating your money could, like I said, be a way of saying they blow through it so fast. |

I took the "you eat your money" comment to be a "go scratch" type deal. It was personally clever to me b/c I mean come on, her nick name is Cow b/c she's constantly eating. I also find it hysterical b/c you know Jax went home all night and fretted over it while chugging Bailys and probably eating meats and cheeses (Sidebar, ever notice every time we see the poker game scenes Jax fixes the plates with the method, one piece for the tray, one piece for me, one piece for the tray, one piece for me - check it out next repeat). He hit her where it hurt. He should have really said you drink and eat your money so fuck off. I didn't find Reid's comment funny b/c it well wasn't. That's just answering for moi. I can't answer for TWOP. |

did anyone see the sneak peak of lost footage? It started with damn Andy AGAIN going in on juicy and his gay slurs. This season it was the Greg loose butthole joke. For crying out loud. Edited by Shoppergal, Oct 18 2012, 09:30 PM.

I think what Andy fails to understand is that not every single place is LA and there are places where jokes like that are funny to EVERYONE, gay and straight alike. I think that's what Juicy was trying to say in that clip. No one is offended by it. It's good natured ribbing between friends. Personally, I'm not sure how I feel about it. I make inappropriate jokes all the time with my friends and I say shit that leaves the line so far behind I can't see it anymore. I try to gauge my audience and only bust that shit out with people who will find it funny. Maybe Juicy doesn't have that filter. |
