I don't think the Lauritas are doing their autistic kid any favors by having him on this show. But they need sympathy votes since they are in some very serious trouble. Cow is disgusting. Her entire look grosses me out. Go back to chewing cud, Cow, and get off my screen.

WHY is Clownie talking to Teresa about a very private thing? If I were Teresa, I'd sit down, say hello, and then excused myself and leave after she started talking that crap about my family. What kind of outsider gets involved in family shit like that? Lunatics do.

Lauren is disgusting. I'm betting she'll run back to fat before the season is over. What a miserable bitch, and she's, what, 25?

"Lauren has been nothing but a BITCH since she lost the weight!" Hold the phone Clownie, I thought you said that you had your little happy girl back now that she lost the weight - or at least that was your story at the reunion.

Lauren is miserable. Love how she is so judgmental about Tre's kids being raised by wolves.

Lauren looks like she gained a lot of the weight back already. She's a miserable bitch because the only female role model she has is a bitch.

I appreciate your very educated and personal experience on autism and certainly my opinion is strictly as a layperson and viewer of the show. I just find it hard to believe that Chris was working so hard with his son on this one thing, not when he was questioning Jax about Nicks progress and seemed so uninformed about it. Also Jax was the one who was so concerned over him saying those words to her that I can't imagine she hasn't tried to get him to say it. I don't doubt he has some learning disability but not sure I'm on board with every thing his parents are trying to sell us.

Again please believe my criticism of them doesn't mean I have anything other than the utmost respect and appreciation for your comments, especially since you are on the frontlines with this disease.
No offense taken, Ish. It's just a REALLY big spectrum- and honestly? I recognize that part of it. Because just because they're jerk-offs doesn't mean their child can't be autistic :) Nicholas only repeated it after Chris; it's not "back" yet. They're in very early days. It was cute- but it wasn't ingrained yet by any stretch. I remember I used to go hide behind the peg board at Jake's school(so that I could better learn how to work with him)- I remember the first time I heard him speak again after 13 months of not speaking :)

I would think the lights, cameras, and wires are extremely distracting and NOT good for him- especially in these days when he needs to be taught so much.

My child is so much older and I'm really NOT an expert- and certainly I'm far out of this initial kind of teaching. ABA is still such a key, though. Before Dr Lovas invented it in Santa Monica, Cali- in the 70's, I think, they thought autistic kids' were the result of "refrigerator Mothers' who rejected their children; and that the Children were basically unteachable and to be institutionalized ASAP.

I don't want anyone to be afraid of offending me; but IMO he's TOTALLY on the spectrum; very like Jake was.(The spectrum is sooo big that the children can be so diverse- yet they are all "autistic" or have "pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS is Jake's real diagnosis- as he only hit 4 out of 9 criteria and not 5 :) and yet the issues he did have were very severe. When Jake was diagnosed- no one really wanted to say "autistic". Back then, they thought most autistic children were also mentally retarded; and since then, they've discovered that most aren't, that they usually actually tend toward normal IQ's :) But still- I don't doubt the "Chris gets him to say it for Jacqueline" was a storyline...

Yikes. Interesting editing, Bravo. Discussions of Chris' erections interspersed with discussions of their child's autism.

Wow...Ritchie just called his daughter's college friends "fat". And why isn't their daughter going to be a nurse practioner until she's 26 or 27? Is the training that rigorous? She should look into Brianna's genius nursing program.

ETA - Oh my God...I loved the tour of the Gorga's bathroom. The bathroom countertop is made of wood and broke off!!

Words, gestures, including ones exclusively involving the middle finger, and audio accompaniment like retching sounds all fail to capture how gross Richie Wakile and Rosie are when they discuss women - well, anything, really. Fucking Rosie bursting free of Dr. Frankenstein's basement to insult imaginary girlfriends wanting to use a strapon on her??? Madon'.

oh andme, I LOVED that -- the faucet handle snaps off. No water. Fake surfaces. It must be worth a billion dollars! And they're selling because Melissa Gorga was kind of in a bad mood with her SIL. Okay!

Stupid fucking Caroline and Caroline 2: The Revenge. Ugh. Also, it looked like Lauren was re-gaining what she lost after the surgery.

It looks like Clownie wore a bathrobe to meet with Teresa.

What's with the Noel Coward ascot that Rosie keeps insisting on wearing?

Richie and Rosie have got to be two of the most repulsive people on TV.

My nephew has Asberger's, Tourette's, multiple OCD, and ADHD. His sister, my niece, has auditory processing disorder, went through a period when she was cutting and we feared she was showing signs of schizophrenia. Their mother, my sister-in-law, has handled it all with grace and diginity and has NEVER thrown a pity party for herself or nominated herself for sainthood ala Cow and Chris. They too repulse and disgust me. Cow needs to grow the hell up and deal with life as a functioning adult. Your child has been dealt a bad hand, yes, but you have the resources and ability to help him. Stop the fucking weeping. Things could be so, so much worse.

I hate myself for watching this show. I need serious intervention to quit. I hate these people. The only one I feel a modicum of sympathy for is Tree. Well, and Nicholas, God bless him.

There's Tree, having choked up throat talking about her father in the hospital (where JoeGo obviously did not appear) and Clownie? Do you want the man to DIE without seeing his children together? Way to be sympathetic, Clownie.

I thought Clownie looked uncomfortable (and ugly, bad makeup, bad!) when Clownie 2 The Revenge was talking about Tree and Juicy's kids. Like if the cameras weren't there she'd enjoy it, but all she can think is "you don't look marriageable, dummy!"

I just have this ache inside me that despite it seeming like a genuine issue with Nicholas, somehow or other Bravo is going to spin the story into a cure ... which will suck for all the real people with children with this problem or similar issues who don't get such an easy Hollywood ending. Maybe the producers are just that stupid. Last week Chris said how wonderful it was that Sandy happened so Nicholas was home all the time with Cow -- and how she worked and worked with him and he improved a lot during that time. Well ... he's three. Does he NEED to go to school? How much of the day is he gone? Can't Cow work with him the rest of the day or just keep him home and DO THAT? It's not like she has a career, after all. If he improved SO much in 2 weeks, why the fuck send him away? And there might be a reason that I don't understand, but that whole thing smacked of "We miss him so much when he's in boarding school nine months a year" ... or "go with nanny, Mommy loves you!"

I find Rosie gross. Nothing against lesbians, but she gives me the creeps. I'm sure it's the producers pushing her, but really? You have to play poker with the guys? Where were you last year? FAKE. And the "little women" coming down to join them ... good times, good times ... pardon me while I vomit.

Why did Kathy Jr. darken her hair? Or is that no bleaching?

Icy early intervention is key with ASD kids. Our town provides services the minute they turn a certain age. Three I think although it may be 2 1/2. He is probably in a special pre-k where they have OT, PT and speech pathologists working with the kids. Our elementary school has the integrated pre-k for the whole district. They mix typical peers with special ed at a 1 to 1 ratio and provide all the services the spec ed kids need.

Not to say that Chris and Cow aren't milking this for all it is worth screen-time wise.

I feel sorry for the Wakile daughter. Poor thing should be living at college. It isn't like Caldwell College is a huge party school. And that fucking pig of a dad.

Teresa's make up was horrible at one point. Maybe when she was talking to Kim D? It looked like she had two red war stripes across her cheek.

If Kathy and Richie have been so cool all along with Rosie being a lesbian, then why are they now only asking questions about her life? Another storyline.

I know Andy loves his gay characters, but really, I think they are exploiting Rosie and her sexuality. It's offensive.

I think the autism storyline is for sympathy factor for the fraud investigations wrt their bankruptcy. I can't imagine it is not disruptive to have cameras and lights in that kid's face.

Okay do we really need to see how those Manzo morons and Richie ask Rosie all the questions about lesbians and strap ons? And Richie saying that Joego needs to take it up the ass so he knows that he is not gay?

And Tre saying that Melissa must have had her period when Joego went DOWN ON HER! is how she bewitched Joego?
That was the most disgusting line that Tre said. That is just an example of why I cannot stand the bitch.

Icy you said it. I hate all these people but I still watch! Well wouldn't be fun to be left out of the conversation. I made my husband watch last night. He was not happy

Icy - hate them, too. They all suck, but Tre wins by default only because the rest all suck more. While I don't admire her missing hair line, I am jealous of Tre's hair. I think it's beautiful. What I wouldn't give to have thick, shiny hair like that.

I enjoy Milania. I think shes a horrid brat and wouldn't want to be near her at all, but on my tv she is such entertainment. I love that she called her grandfather a nice little fella.

I think Melissa has gotten too comfortable with her edit last season. I don't think this year's will be that forgiving. In the previews when shes arguing with Teresa only when Teresa calls her i her lie does she decide she doesn't want to contribute.

Icy, look at the positive. Do you really think Cow has the ability to give her son the same therapies that the professionals do? In those 2 weeks she probably reinforced what he'd been doing but she doe not have the skills to introduce new concepts. I'll give her credit in that one regard: she knows her limitations and isn't trying to 'cure' him herself. My school district starts intervention at 2 1/2. And you can bet, I'd've had my kid enrolled if necessary, because even though I was a teacher, I did NOT have the knowledge nor the patience to do what those teachers do.

12 years ago my nephew was diagnosed with Aspergers and an alphabet list of other issues. The first time I saw my brother 'brushing' him, I thought, "WTF?" Once, my husband went up behind him to give him a bear hug and my nef flipped out. It was bad. They had to leave. We were at a family picnic and everybody was whispering about what a baby he was. :( So sad in retrospect. Because no one knew. But the whole family 'gets it' now. Some of the therapies seem odd and the spectrum is so vast. And with autism practically an epidemic (and I know that's up for debate) I see the harm and the good of what Cow is doing so publicly.

Off to watch the epi.

Geez Rye, we could have the same nephew, only no one would acknowledge he was on the spectrum until this year (he is turning 22).

It is so sad. But I don't like that Cow has the cameras there with Nicholas. I think that is too much. Too much if he gets overwhelmed by visual and auditory stimuli. And what about his right to privacy? I know parents control their children's rights, but it just strikes me as exploitive.
