I had no idea there was such a thing as granite veneer. Geez, sounds like something some cheapass contractor would use to flip a house. Or JoGo putting on a facade for his wife. I cracked up when the RE agent came downstairs after discovering the particle board/plywood under the faux granite and Melissa's first words about the house were "We're proud of it." So I guess Clownie butting in to the Gorga/Guidice business was her way of promoting her advice book. Hahahhaa. Looks like that backfired. |

I find it offensive not for the exploitation but because it's Rosie. About 99.9% of lesbians are better looking than Rosie so frankly, I hate that she's the poster child now for all lesbians. And she acts like she's this catch like last week when she was saying this ugly thing with rotted out teeth was staring at her or whatever. Uh, check the mirror hon. 1's don't get 10's without a huge bank account or fame. I think I sniff the beginning of the bad edit for Melissa. Jennifer saying the bathroom and everything in it was "fake" and flash to Melissa staring at her profile in the mirror. |

I missed it Sunday night because I got home late so caught the repeat Monday. I thought that was ridiculous. First, why are 2 different agents coming at the same time to show your house? Second, why are you there and acting like you're hosting a party "Let me know if you need anything." Oh STFU Melissa. That whole scene was badly staged with them asking why she was moving and her being coy. So stupid. |

Oh, and I wouldn't be jealous of Tree's locks, all. I think there are serious-ass extensions in there. No one has hair that thick and perfect. Albie is getting uglier. I used to think he was a little cute, now he's morphing into Fat Al. His hair is thinning really fast and it won't be long before he looks like his father, Sleepy McLapband. I need more Juicy. I always need more Juicy and more Milania. I too have never ever heard of granite over linoleum or something. Holy crap. That is just so ridiculously ghetto and I hope no one here has that because I'm sorry but what the hell. Especially since 1) Joe Gorga is IN THE BUSINESS and can get it at cost probably and 2) Granite isn't even the hottest thing anymore, there is so much more people are doing for counters and he should have done something like that if he really wanted his house to be a showstopper. My SIL is a Nurse Practitioner. It's a nurse with a Graduate degree in nursing. So at 24 maybe, Gizmo the Mouthbreathing Gremlin can have her NP license. They are basically "doctors" who can't write prescriptions. But hopefully she can do stitches and if that's the case it will come in handy to stitch asshole Rich's mouth shut (wtf with that comment about the fat girls, wow - a new low from saying Kathy smells like fish.) Rich's entire presence on this show is completely unnecessary but now he's just ruining it for me. I'm getting to the point of such hatred for Rich, I think like Cosmo has for Whori Lauri. |

Great post Velvet! I've missed your ho-wife snark and I'm lol-ing at your nickname for the female Wakile spawn. And yes, I totally get ho-wife hate. There is a tipping point. Thank goodness both Richie (and Whori) seem to have limited screen time. |

I think if you can afford a $3.8m house you can afford to have a water softener installed when you build it if you live in an area with hard water. Because Lime Away is a PITA to use. I think Tre's hair is too thick, having all of that hair makes her forhead look even smaller. IMO it looks better when she parts it down the middle and flat irons it and tries to keep it back off of her face. If I were her I'd lose the extensions, get it thinned out, use a good Moroccon oil on it and keep it smooth and simple. NP's can diagnose and write prescriptions under the "supervision" of a doctor. Have you ever been to one of those Walgreen's walk in clinics? They are staffed with NP's and they have written rx's for antibiotics for strep for us. A doctor's name shows up on the receipt as the supervisor even though they are not on site. That part is kind of BS to me, must be easy money for the MD. I think most people at that age go to school, get their RN and get a job at a hospital or wherever and then go back to school for the NP training. |

I can't take credit for the Gizmo Gremlin part - that's all Oleander. Once she said that I could not stop thinking of her as anything other than Gizmo. Posted Image Posted Image |

Wait. Is someone on the show really saying they are going to be an NP? I can't imagine any of them being smart enough to do that. My friend's daughter was just accepted into an NP program last year. She was originally going to Med School but did the math and realized she can make more with less debt and insurance as an NP. Yeah, they write prescriptions and the supervising MD just signs off on them. An NP just took a job here in my doctor's clinic and I may just start seeing her, since it's a revolving door around her for a real MD. They come, they spend one winter, and they are gone. |

Yep, it is easy money for the MD. I like the NP at my doctor's office way more than I like my actual doctor so while she takes afternoons off I see the NP. But it costs the same for an office visit for the NP or the MD - at least at my doctor's office. It's prejudicial for sure, but I would have to be bleeding to death before I would want a Wakile handling my medical needs. |

I prefer NPs because i is always easier to get am appt with them in my experience. I snorted pizza hut breadstick at the gizmo reference. How'd I miss the fact she was going to be an NP. Didn't she end up at a podunk U after that 'storyline' of touring Georgetown or whatever last season. |

Dh talked about the sink. They use that crap when they build clubs sometimes. Cheap way to make it look more expensive. I never heard of it either. |

ITA, Fin. Our water is somewhat hard and it's a PITA to keep the rings around my faucet handles clean. But fer sure, as Willy says, the Gorgas can afford a water softener. Or at the very least, take that straight edge blade and clean the hell out of your bathroom before the camera crew and realtors shows up. It's not that hard to do to wipe them down to prevent an inch of crust. Speaking of busted faces and stuff being hard - that female realtor, Jen? She's hard to look at. For real. She's a high end realtor. Take some time off and find a high end orthodontist. Looks like she makes an appearance next week, too. If they're priming her for a spot as a ho, that's going to be problematic. |

I am so happy that Melissa's edit seems to indicate that she isn't going to get the victim edit this year. For all of Andy's love of Caroline, she still came out looking bad no matter how good of an edit she got. Can you imagine what they cut? $3.8 is high for Montville. I don't think there is anyway they are going to get it. I have been checking in on Realtor.com and there are 4 or so homes over $3 million that have been sitting a long time. Montville is not as accessible to NYC as other towns. They have to drive to neighboring Towaco or Boonton and the commute is probably well over an hour. And the public schools are fine, but not top ranked. Tons of homes are selling between 1 and 2 million. But to go over 2.5, you are looking at a whole different type of buyer. Either one who wants convenience to their high powered job in NYC or one who wants a more prestigious address than Montville. Mountain Lakes is right next door to them and is a much more prestigious address. Edited by Finestra, Jun 13 2013, 08:44 AM.
