Willy ITA that Bravo is setting up the big "trip" retreat. Can't stand when they pretext it on the show.

I loved Tre saying she was embarrassed by Rosie and then she started shrieking herself. Teresa just needs to never mention Melissa again. Ever. It would kill Melissa.

Funny Lysa, Melissa's hag sister was tweeting about Bravo editing it to make like she was annoyed with Melissa. Welcome to the wonderful world of Bravo editing!

Not defending her -- at least, that's not my intention -- but when Tree flipped the table, the whole group and film crew were in a separate private room. I haven't seen the scene with Rosie yet, but it looked in the previews as if they were in the middle of the restaurant. Yes, everyone had to sign waivers, but we've seen Tree be appalled by the public looking at her and who she's talking to before, specifically when Joe said some insult at the soccer place and Tree looked around, then they showed some woman being amused/shocked.

I think a lot of what we see of Tree is producer driven to the degree that she cannot understand that a lot of it makes her look bad. They probably said "let's see how you write your blog and shut up people about that" ... pretending to believe her (I think she dictates it and it's cleaned up and prepared by someone else, so it's a merge of her with help) so she thinks "yeah, yeah, let's do that" ... meanwhile, Production is 100% aware of how the audience would view that, including that many of us are savvy enough to realize she can't be blogging about a show that is still being filmed. They are HAPPY if we notice that and question it, as if Tree is sooo stupid. She's soooo naive, is what it is.

I think a lot of dishonest people think they are honest. I think Juicy* and Tree fall into that category. I think Clownie and Cow know their husbands are liars and dishonest - possibly connected to the 2013 mob - and they are okay with it, or deliberately ignore it. But I think Tree thought she was deserving of all the great things she had: she was a loyal wife, had four children, took care of her mama and papa ... Jersey girl made good. You have to be stupid, you have to be willing, but it's not the same to me as someone like Clownie or Cow --- who hustled in Vegas and knows the score before the dice turn over -- who merely pretend to be honest people.

They're all crooks, IMO. ALL of them. But Tree has some sort of genuine quality that makes me think she believes her own bs.

ETA* Juicy not so much. I think he was aware he was cheating and lying and being a bad landlord and thought "everybuddy does it" ... And I think he loves Tree more because she trusts him. I think he was different for a few seasons when people were suggesting she leave him, but once she made it clear that was not happening, he calmed down and became a shoulder-shrugger "Whatdya gonna do 'bout it?" guy.

Disco, I thought that was Pete Giudice too but then I remembered something from my days in CT/NY/NJ. A lot of the guys up there look the same. I crack up when I see pics on Facebook of high school friends when they are out in bars or whatever and the entire lineup of people look the exact same. So I'm not sure if that was him or just some goombah who looked like him.

I think Tree was writing her blog for her own website, not for Bravo's.

Oh, I think Tre believes her own BS. And I might have bought the naive thing 3 seasons ago. But she's been doing this long enough that this excuse doesn't fly anymore IMO. I think she also is like Rosie in that she gets mad, she flips out and in the moment she does not care where she's at or who might be watching. So she really isn't one to make snide comments about someone else flipping out in public.

I think some of the "reaction" shots we see are also BS. Who knows what that woman was making the face about. Maybe Juicy farted. When they show Melissa and Joe talking and then cut to Antonia supposedly listening in the same room who knows when that was actually filmed. There is a reason they don't show Melissa, Joe and Antonia all in the same frame while that discussion is going on. When they show cast members driving up somewhere in a car and you only hear the audio and are looking at a shot of the outside of the car they might as well flash up a big neon sign saying "THIS IS FAKE. THIS IS FAKE." And yes, that applies to crap they've done to Tre too.

Oh, I don't mean NOW, Willy. I mean when this all started. Tree's eyes have been opened. Now she goes out and earns the money her fambily needs, which is why she gets that respect from me. What $ is Cow or Clownie worried about earning? Or Missy or Kathy?

I didn't mind Tre so much when the show started, although even back then it drove me nuts the way she let her girls speak to her, to others, and run wild in stores. I also have said that I do give her credit for being a hustler and by that I mean she saw she needed to earn money to get her family out of the financial hole they were in so she just went and did it. I've also always given her credit for being smart enough to realize she's not that smart, although I didn't totally put it all together until I saw her on Celebrity Apprentice. She is a hard worker who has no illusions that she's some top notch businesswoman and she knows enough to do as she is told. But that's all I got when it comes to her.

As for the rest of them? I don't know if they are on the show and promoting all of these supposed businesses of theirs because they really do need the money or if it's just so they have a storyline or what.

There was alot of good stuff packed into this show. I may have to watch certain parts again.

How about where Clownie was whining to Big Al that all kids wanted to do was work (ha!) and that "he" created monsters (-well, yeah but that was you Clownie) and how these kids/monsters are missing so much. I loved it when Big Al said something along the lines of it didn't look like they were missing out on anything to him, lol.

And where was that Beauty Benefit anyway? Certainly wasn't at Calfface - although now that I think of it Cow would be a perfect person to promote Calfface. Was Clownie II; The Revenge even there?

Maybe that will start a Manzo family rift Cosmo.

Here is a funny line from a poster at tw0p about Cow and Autism
Quote:

I completely agree. I actually know quite a lot about autism, having worked with autistic children for several years. However, all I have learned about autism from this show is that it makes mothers cry a lot, feel sorry for themselves, and revert back to adolescent behavior even further than before.

They are having some pretty funny comments over at TWoP and the recap again this week has some laugh out loud parts.

I have said before, probably too often, that it surprises me how tone deaf Bravo is on certain things - Taylor/Russell, Kyle, Tamra, etc. - when I know full well that they just don't give a damn and are going to broadcast whatever they want. However, I would bet good money that they did not AT ALL expect Cow's autism storyline to be as universally reviled as it has been. Across the boards on every site that objectively covers the Housewife shows (i.e. not the Bravo site) posters are pretty much 100% against this storyline and for the removal of Cow and her son from the show.
I'm frankly surprised that she wasn't canned after she didn't show up for that one reunion; what was the excuse, she was too distressed by a recent incident when we all knew full well that she didn't show up so she wouldn't have to face questions about how she parented Ashley.

Ha! Exactly.

I was skimming over there just now and someone propsosed that Vito may have already given Clownie II: The Revenge the dump - after watching this show for a few years and seeing what he's getting into. That makes more sense to me than a girl who has been raised to be an uneducated wife suddenly decide to stay single so she can be the receptionist and sole employee in a strip mall shop her mom bought.

I'm going to need you and Shopper to set up your Clownie II: the revenge Roast session where you two play off each other in who can insult Clownie 2 the most.

Some of these things you guys are saying are so damn funny that I feel like making a fake twitter and tweeting it to them, like what Ish said about the bj's this morning. LOL!
