The bra thing was interesting because you know how they never refer to the cameras at all being there, well on WWHL, Andy almost slipped - he said, "And props to Gia for letting us..." and he cut out. I said to Mr. V, notice how they never ever refer to "letting something be filmed." Like we don't know. This ep was super boring, and I missed the first 3 minutes so I guess that's where Juicy was doing his man-chat with Tre, but my least favorite part was when chubball Lauren had any airtime at all. I don't say chubball because she's a heffer, I say it because it's ALL SHE FUCKING TALKS ABOUT. Then when she went off about how when it's just their family there's no drama, but when other people come along there is drama, shut up ya Junior Clownie in training. And Caroline, your face is soooo painfully bulldogish ugly. Actually that's a slam on bulldogs, she's worse. And please STFU about your life, we all know Albert was cheating on you that whole time. The only reason they showed that apt over the Brownstone was to combat the rumors that Albert had a mistress living up there. At least Chris Manzo did say "I got fat, I don't know why Lauren doesn't see that' or whatever he said about it. It's about time he acknowledged it, because damn, we all see that bloat around the face. |

I did like how Lauren made Albie take her to her prom, as though nowhere, in no prom, since the beginning of proms, did any heavyset person ever go to a prom. Lauren needs an attitude adjustment (I think I just stepped back into 1992). If she was pleasant to be around, her personality would shine. Having friends, being a pleasant person - these things don't revolve around being skinny or fat. She just has a horrible, bitter attitude, which she's inherited from her mother. |

Also because when Gia was having her fit, she said that she hadn't wanted to go to field day to begin with. She'd wanted to go to the shore with her dad and sisters. Tree said something about not wanting to go either but she went to "be a team player", which must be code for "my Bravo contract said I had to come for filming". I wonder why she made Gia come along. Tree signed up for that show again but there is no reason why she should have dragged Gia along, especially knowing that the whole thing with JoeGo gets Gia upset. She shouldn't have allowed the boob/bra thing to be filmed either. She's just a kid, quit dragging her into this crapfest. |

I think Gia enjoys the cameras in the same way Tre does. Both too innocent to understand the damage. For Gia, that's understandable at 10 years old. For Tre, both as a mother and a 40-something year old, it's just bizarre. I don't think she's ever had a momentary idea about how it came to be that her sister in law and cousin -- who HATE HER -- are starring on the show now. I could like her for being so helpless and innocent, but she had to be rich and have marble up the ying yang in that McMansion, so I still hate her. But I'm not aggressive about it! I thought the scenes with Gia were sweet, because she doesn't have boobs. If she had boobs, strangely enough, I would have felt we were invading her privacy (more than we already fucking ARE!) Talking about getting periods -- a few things were funny there. Gia mentioned a book that Tre gave her and I think it was a book that everyone was touting about a year ago (when this was filmed). But you know Tre never would have gotten that book for Gia if it wasn't all the rage and if she wasn't in the D-list celeb world. I thought Gia looked very pretty in this episode, braces and all. Joe works out and works out and can't do nuttin' about that belly? Richie needs to stop with the cannoli ... man boobs! (And funny that Rosie and Kathy had just said they wore double t-shirts so no nips would show, when Richie was flashing his headlights -- on WWHL) Joe Gorga did cheat. More than once. Which is sort of his personality in a nutshell. He has to win, even if it means cheating, even if it means disappointing his hero-worshipping niece. Tre only didn't care because she was on that team. I was insulted when they kept blaming Gia. All she wanted was for the games to be FAIR. As Tre said, in a moment of startling clarity "She learns about fairness in school" or something like that .... yes! She learns NOT TO CHEAT. Then there's her life role models, destroying her ideals and when she protests and CARES, they blame her. Clownie and Cow double-teamed Gia because they don't respect Tre, but still like Gia. They feel guilty about turning away from Tre's kids, as innocents. So they were NEVER GOING TO GET TRE. Cow reading that book? I wanted to jump through the TV and scratch her. What an idjit. I give props to Gia for calming down and getting her humor back by the time Cow pretended that lump of cheese? was too heavy for her. Lauren? She's her own worst enemy. And she deserves everything she does to herself. One more thing: am I the only one who is seriously doubting that JoeGo sent that text to Tre? That smelled like a cover-up by Bravo or by the Gorgas ... besides, we know he can't read -- can he write a long and well worded text like that? Maybe it's all "G8" and "I <3 U" and "K?" It was prob: Sry 4 wht hpnd ystrdy. <3 U. xoxo i smell a coverup, too. And what if she didn't mention she had received a text. Maybe it skipped her mind? What business is it of Cow's to go to her husband and to Clowny? I love how Chris was basically, 'i don't give a fuck.' Joe Giudice is a messed up little person, that's for sure, but it astonished me how he keeps it real during filming. It's like an episode of Chappelle show when he did those skits: When keeping it real goes wrong. Edited by oleander, May 21 2012, 12:59 PM.

Those tween years are horrible. Their hormones are in overdrive and their emotions can get the better of them. My 12-year old daughter is amazing; she's well-liked by everyone, always cheerful and sweet. But even she has her moments. And when she does, I NEVER scold her in front of others. I try to diffuse the situation and deal with her at home. No need to humiliate her in front of others. Some people might think it's ok to do that to their daughters (Jaq and Caro), but Tre doesn't appear to be like that, so I can definitely see why she was upset with those other harpies. And Lauren can just STFU already. Seriously, I want to sympathize with this chick because I have my own weight issues I've dealt with my whole life, along with family members that LOVED to make comments about it. But this bitch makes it so hard to feel anything but contempt for her. Lighten the fuck up! |

LOL. Your versions of Joe Gorga's texts are hilarious! Love it!!! I wish they'd get off Lauren's weight already because this whole focus on it makes it like she can't go on to have a happy life until she loses the weight. So this is the excuse for no job, no life, not being social? And I love how Kathy busts in with that dessert tray and they flash to Lauren's face. Why torture the girl? Also, it's not like she's 400 lbs overweight and they have to get a forklift to get her to the toilet, damn. Caroline needs to STFU about it too - like you just said Icki, it's NOT OKAY to bash your kid on TV, shit. Why when they heard Gorga texted Tre, do they all of a sudden believe him and not Tre? No one knows if that text really went or not, and Jax, shit, stop STOP STOP getting involved in family drama. I like how Chris says "Jacqueline is naive." Um, no bighead, "naive" is NOT the word I would use to describe her. Can't wait for next week when Jersey shows their gay pride. They really are trying to do some damage control aren't they? Last night on WWHL Rosie made some comment about being "butchie butch." LOL. That's a great name. |

I agree!! When JoeGo and Richie were hanging out at the gym, Richie made the suggestion that JoeGo reach out to Teresa and offer her love instead of criticizing her and JoeGo said he would think about doing that. That conversation took place at least a couple days AFTER the pool party. Now JoeGo suddenly tells Melissa, on the way to field day, that he sent a lovely text to Teresa? Not buying it..he would have told Melissa that he was thinking about texting Teresa and discussed with her what to say, had her approve it and then if Teresa didn't respond he would have cried to her about it. I smell a set up. |

I can't believe Caroline is going after Gia AGAIN in her blog. Jeez louize woman, leave the kid alone! I still have horrible memories of my tween years that involved acting out or just plain being stupid, and nothing makes it worse than to have adults getting involved and making you feel even worse. You don't like Teresa, we get it, but can't she leave the kids out of it?! |

Clownie is so angry. C sees herself as lumpy, sees her daughter as chubby, cheating husband married to a catering business 24/7. She just deflects it onto everyone else, it oozes out of her with the aggressive and at the same time condascending shit she spews. Jaq and Clownie on Gia was just awful. Look how Jaq and Clownie have their daughter's backs. Looking thru their rose colored glasses at Gia. F that. Jaq was outrageously 7th grade arguing back and all animated at T's "No offense I'd rather be at the beach too." Hell T was right! Edited by Vicky is Icky, May 21 2012, 02:19 PM.

Last night was the first time I actually liked Kathy. Her consoling Gia was sweet b/c it obviously came from a place of love since Gia is a her family. I did catch Gia saying that JoeGo was mean and that Melissa was, "as always," being mean. Makes me wonder what the interactions b/w Melissa and Gia are like. Gia obviously isn't one to be easily won over and can be a brat, so I'm curious to find out how they interact. |

The whole episode I felt REALLY sorry for Gia. I think Caroline and Jacqueline were out of line- BUT? I don't know if Teresa was that helpful, either. Gia was having a meltdown totally normal for that age- but I did want my children to talk to adults respectfully, too. I worry for the Guidice girls. Kind of hard to sort out well on camera. As far as JoeGo "cheating" when adults play games like that, when I do- we do goof off like that. Gia really shouldn't have been participating in that field day. She was taking it really seriously, and no one else was- some of them were probably even drinking during it- bad match-up.I HATED Teresa feeling Gia's boobs or non-boobs- thank God my Mom never did that. watching this show makes me want to call my Mom and tell her thanks for a lot of things. OMG- Lauren Manzo- shut up! What a giant grump- like if she doesn't eat dessert on one day, she's gonna kill someone. I am placing bets that Joe texted Tree- that is my bet for when they ask that question at the reunion- Tree will say "she asked if he got in touch with me, not if he texted me". We'll see, but that's my bet and I'm sticking to it :) |

Kathy was nice. That's how Caroline/jacqueline should have been. Any adult could tell within 3 seconds that she was far too upset and wasn't responding to what they were dishing. Should have just said- 'I'll go get your Mom" immediately- and left them alone together. I think Gia hates melissa because of Teresa- Teresa says she's controlling, a "cunt wife"(lololol) in front of her kids- true or not- I think Gia got all that from Teresa. Her Dad calls her a "horsey-face" and a "tramp"- I don't think any of Teresa's kids are hearing ANY good things about Melissa at home. Kids parrot what they hear. "My Mom is trying" (to Joego) "SHE cries". It's all teresa-centric. |

I thought the preview on Bravo's website of Caroline admitting that she holds Tre responsible for her falling out with Dina (despite the fact that Dina released a statement saying her issues with Caroline had nothing to do with Teresa) is the most revealing thing said thus far. We're finally getting to the root of the problem, and it's not the stupid cook book. So basically this whole lovefest between the Manzos and the Gorgas is Caroline's "fuck you" to Teresa. |

Ok I have to go read Clownie's blog now. Ugh. I need a drink before I sit down to do that deed. I think there's more to Gia hating Melissa because of what Tre and Juicy say at home. Think about being that age for a second, and being doted on as a little kid by someone who isn't your dad and therefore isn't required to dote on you - more often than not, little girls develop crushes on those people in their lives. We're looking at this through adult eyes right now, but there's something we probably haven't considered - Gia has a little crush on her uncle. That can impact her perceptions as well. The idea of Jax trying to "parent" Gia is so fucking funny. I liked the scene with Tre, Juicy and Gia when they were talking about the bra and Gia told Juicy he needed one. It was funny, they all looked like we caught this relaxed sweet family moment on camera. |
