Why didn't Caroline and Jax just leave Gia alone to vent to her friend? Their whole storyline revolves around Teresa, to the extent that they need to go insert themselves into Gia's meltdown. And I am sure by this point Gia has heard plenty around her house about how terrible Caroline has been over the cookbook.

You're so right. it's another opportunity for them to prove Teresa's also a bad mother who raised bad kids, like they could prove she's a bad friend, bad sister-in-law, bad sister, bad everything. The only thing at this point I find her guilty of is, well 2 things. 1 - instigating Din-yell, but she did that because she was trying to make sure Jax and Clownie knew her loyalty, and 2 - lying about the personal financial drama with her and Joe, etc. And even at that I give her a pass because some stuff just isn't made-for-tv.

Caroline, you were NEVER tiny. The entire family has big bones, we've seen a lot of the siblings, none qualify as tiny.

I always thought Caroline was wearing spanx or a shaper in Season 1. She always looked like she was inside some sort of container in her dresses, like it was hard but not hard from working out - hard from being packed into some spanx. She had that "just took a deep breath of air" look about her.

What is the allure of the Fidget? Why are they all fighting over getting that little simpleton's attention/affection?

It is beyond me.

I'd take Joe Gui any day over JoeGo, "greasy" Richie, "fat" Albert,"something stinks" Chris L or either of the Manzo male offspring.

I think Gia was upset that Zio Joe cheated and that it was after they had the little heart to heart about his relationship with her mom and that he assured her that things would work out and that she could trust him. Then he turns around and cheats right in front of her, she was probably thinking if he cheats in a game, why would I believe him about trying to make up with mom?

Ish, that is an excellent point. It's also something the viewers could consider -- if he has to cheat in stupid field games, why wouldn't he cheat in other ways throughout his life?
I think Gia, being the first grandchild, first niece, got a lot of attention from Zio Joe. And for long enough, up till she was six probably, so she remembers. Adults have problems with friendships that wane, why wouldn't a child have issues with the loss of attention? Poor girl.

According to Tre's blog, she hadn't received the text from JoeGo when she initially spoke with Jaq. It's pretty clear that JoeGo didn't send that text right away; it wasn't until after Rich mentioned it that he did that. Jaq and Caro soooo want to believe the worst because they are done with Teresa. In their eyes, it's far worse to not mention a text she didn't even get than for their new pet JoeGo to AGAIN curse his sister on national tv and make her cry.

Caro mentions in the preview clip that she basically hold Tre responsible for her rift with Dina, even though Dina put out a statement last year denying that Tre was the reason she cut Caroline out of her life (http://www.dinamanzo.com/press/the-truth/). But as usual, Caroline can't take any responsibility for her actions. No, it has to be someone's fault that Dina isn't speaking with her. And since she's still speaking with Teresa, well then it's Teresa's fault. It's the only reason Caroline is cozying up to the Gorga/Wakiles.

I do think "Zio Joe" "cheated" out of goofing, though. The one cheat gave Gia's team the point- and the other "cheat" was carrying Melissa the last 3 steps? Is that even a cheat? Every time we've played games like that- bocce, horseshoes- it happens. :"It's FUN-NEE" tm teresa. I don't think it was a conspiracy against Gia that she makes it in her blog. AND I hate that she totally excuses Juicy in her blog for the way he spoke to her. I just don't think it's a Teresa's all good- everyone else all bad situation. Teresa can say Ashley's rebellious because of the way jacq is- but Teresa hasn't gotten there yet- she should be careful about being self-righteous about teens yet- she doesn't know her future in that regard! I think Jacq was immediately sorry for how she handled it- she apologized to Teresa and Gia and gave a hug and made Gia "the big cheese". I think Caroline was TOTALLY out of line- Gia was melted down- she needed a breather- not a lecture. Kathy was sweet. And I get Teresa's wanting to comfort Gia, but I think she should have taking Gia out of the situation earlier- and I don't think she needed to snark that she didn't want to be there either and was being a "team player'- that's rude.

I just can't get totally on the bandwagon of "poor Teresa". To me it's more complicated. and I HATED this episode! It was my favorite show last week- this week it just sucked and I liked Bethenny's show instead. Hope the OC is a least good tonight.

I agree, I hated this episode too. If they were going to do field day, do it. Meaning: Giudice should have gone so they could all air their crap out and get it handled. Besides, I would have loved to hear Giudice's name for Missy in those cottage cheese revealing shorts.
Seeing Clownie and Jax go after Gia really bothered me. I am ready ready ready for Jax and Clownie to go off the TV. They are gone this after season aren't they?

ITA Velvet. Caroline's bad edit is a long time coming. It happened to Jill, it could definitely happen to her. Now that cow's mom let it slip that Bravo asked Jaq to help put Tre in a bad light, it's obvious that she's getting the bitch edit AGAIN. Shouldn't it be someone else's turn next season?

Yeah, they repackaged Camille, it's time for them to cut the crap. The viewers aren't stupid, they all saw through Missy right away and now they are all seeing Clownie and stupid fat-neck Jax for what they are. It's got to be comical for tree.

I put this comment on Tree's FB like, "why do they only focus on your money problems, the wakiles have problems too if you check NJ state court records" and they deleted that comment. WTF!

I think mixing kids with adults in competition isn't a good idea. Like Joan Crawford said "I'm bigger and stronger than you and I will always win"

There a lots of adult poor sports out there. Learning/knowing when a sport/game is being played in a true competitive spirit and when people are just out to have a good time is tricky for kids under a certain age, heck, adults have difficulty doing that. So I will give Gia a pass. If Clownie and Jac didn't insert themselves in the situation, perhaps Gia would have sulked in private and gotten over it.

It's all fun and games till someone starts crying....

The comments on the bravo blogs are really interesting. It seems like except for an occasional supportive comment here and there, Caroline and Missy are taking a beating. I wonder if they read these comments? I bet Jax does, she has nothing better to do with her day. I can't believe she's about the same age as me and she acts like she's 12.

You know what? I am a pretty calm person, and I rarely get furious, but when I do? I am scary as hell. It's actually one reason I usually try to take the polite or understanding or at least courteous way out of situations. Discretion being the better part of valor and all of that. Benefit of the doubt, stepping into the other guys shoes, ALL of that stuff I routinely do. Because when I finally do blow, it is not safe to be around me.

I would have BLOWN completely the hell up had my child asked for me and been brow beaten and "taught" by people who hate me. You do NOT use a 10 year old child to get even or prove points or any damn other thing. Come at ME, do NOT use my child! I would have shredded them. If I was just watching this shit now? It would be my mission in life to DESTROY them. They would regret forever doing that to my kid. Forever.

No calm, no "understanding" and no forgiveness. That is crossing a line. I can't stand people taking advantage of smaller or younger or more helpless people. Can not STAND it. They would be so done.

Well, we see it that way but I'm not sure the general audience agrees - or at least the East Coast audience that answered Andy's WWHL poll Monday night. Something like 73% thought Clownie and Jax acted appropriately towards Gia.

Poor Gia, learning about "fairness" in school [according to her mother] while surrounded by lying cheating criminals at home and I'm not talking about Field Day Games. That has to be confusing.

Miliania alone will make sure the family lawyer can keep his kids in private schools.

Unfortunately, the Guidices won't be paying his bill! ;)

YES to all of this! I'm the exact same way. I'm middle eastern -- enough said ;) So yeah, temper has been an issue for me, but as I've matured I've learned to keep it under wraps pretty well. Until you mess with my kids, and then all bets are off. I'm simply baffled that anyone could condone what Caro and Jaq did to Gia. She was down there by herself sulking. Big whoop. Let the kid sulk. But no, they had to make it a point to tell a 10-year old kid that she was being horrible. If Gia is as bratty as these bitches want us to believe, then why didn't she act up with Kathy? I'm not a fan of Kathy, but she handled the situation pretty well. She gave Gia a hug (probably the only thing the kid really needed) and diffused the situation. Gia responsed well to her because she's not as dumb as most of the adults surrounding her. She knew she was in enemy territory and that those two harpies were NOT coming from a good place. Kathy, for all her faults, does seem to care about those kids and Gia seems to know that.

Cosmo, I meant to say that a future Caro bad edit would be a long time coming. I realize she's still Andy's pet and will continue to get a good edit for a long while.
