I don't think the "hating Teresa" was there yet- Caroline DEFINITELY did- I think she has since the bar fight in Mexico- but it wasn't acknowledged. In the sometimes (here I go stereotyping again!) Italian-American Fambly- I do for your kids what I do for my kids- and vice versa- including discipline. I think Jacqueline had different intentions than Caroline in that moment- in fact, I'm not convinced that Jacq will not reconcile with Teresa. I totally don't blame Gia- sure she was a little brat- but she's 10- and that field day was not kid-centric; most Mom's would've seen her need to blow off steam and left her alone- but I don't think Jacq's inent was malicious in that moment- I think Caroline's was- and I think it relates to the Manzo boys fight over Tree and Dina. Not that I think Dina's all that great- as some people seem too. I think she's a big, fat LIAR about her marriage, I think her show sucks, and I think she decorates her house like a crackhead! I admire Teresa for hustling for business- a lot of the rest of her- not at all. And a lot of people laugh at her for it- and it's not an excuse for anything- but I'm going thru menopause, too- and even with bioidentical hormone therapy- it is knocking me on my ass. Not an excuse to bully a 10 year old- but again- why should Teresa laugh at her for it? We're all going to go thru it if we're lucky enough to live long enough :)

Cosmo, I meant to say that a future Caro bad edit would be a long time coming. I realize she's still Andy's pet and will continue to get a good edit for a long while.
Ahhh, yes. I think so too unfortunately. I would love to see Clownie really get it. Just think if the Juicys and the Gorgas and the Walkies all ganged up on the Manzos/Lauritas? THAT would be awesome.

ranjake, you are really in my head today! I am agreeing with all your posts. Maybe because menopause is kicking my ass too. B)

I'm not Italian but I do have Mars exalted in Scorpio in the 5th house, which is why I keep a close watch on my temper.

Trust me when I say, Caroline and Jaq would regret the day they used my kid to get at me on camera. I would destroy them. Fin.

I'm not a fan of Kathy, but she handled the situation pretty well. She gave Gia a hug (probably the only thing the kid really needed) and diffused the situation. Gia responsed well to her because she's not as dumb as most of the adults surrounding her. She knew she was in enemy territory and that those two harpies were NOT coming from a good place. Kathy, for all her faults, does seem to care about those kids and Gia seems to know that.

Yeah - good point. I noticed that when watching. And it seemed genuine (ie. it was partially obscured in the other room out of camera ranges and she seemed genuine). Makes me *almost* re-evaluate the baby shower debacle.

I am reading zero into the WWHL poll. It wasn't till the very end that they started to acknowledge (via those sham polls) that public opinion turned against Taylor. The real Clown has only been shown for the past 6 episodes (and the reunion and last episode of last season). Basically I think Bravo rigs the polls until public opinion becomes overwhelming. Shit the Clown hasn't started taking a beating in blogs till a few episodes ago. Give it time.

Cosmo I was going to refute the validity of the WWHL poll but Shopper beat me to it. I have noticed that no matter what the poll is, the votes will go the way of the "team" who is represented there that night. So since Kathy was there and Kathy's been on the anti-Teresa team, the votes went with Caroline and jax not doing anything wrong. I don't know if this is the viewers doing this or if Andy and company just make up a result. But I'm telling you, Albie could rape Lauren on camera and if Albie was the guest and the poll was "Was Albie wrong for raping his sister?" it would be 95% no. It's just how Bravo does it. They are liars.

Velvet is right, that almost always happens. However, the pattern has been broken a couple of times. The most recent was when Taylor was there and still lost some poll. I believe Bethenny won one when Jill was a guest too, or something like that.

I think they know the poll in advance, and then the "group" on NJ votes en masse, while Theresa might not even watch the damn thing in real time.

That Taylor vote is the one I was referring to - it was the very tail end of the season (I think the reunion was on and she was schilling her book). Even Andy seemed disgusted with her by then and she lost the poll - by that point tides had clearly turned on homegirl. Isn't that the vote where Taylor tried to say she won the poll and Andy gave her the 'Bitch be crazy look' as they rolled credits?

The Jill poll..well, no brainer Andy is always Team B. He was probably voting for her during commercial breaks.

Actually, I think the anti-Jill (or was it Brunette's?) vote was when Luann or Kelly was on representing that team or something? Andy seemed shocked by the vote.

I think that may have been the huge Bravo head's up that the viewers were sick of the whole Brunette's vs Blond thing, and didn't buy that they were the put upon group.

Memory like a sieve here. LOL

Was that the one Jill demanded a recount on? I think it was a different one.

I hope Andy is doing the same; assuming of course they aren't rigged which of course they just might be.

They don't have to be rigged -- the audience is probably skewed to who likes that guest. With Jill, people were hoping Andy would finally deal with her, so the audience was at least mixed ... given how far down she was, it would be tough for her to have that many supportive fans vs. the people who were sick of her anyway.

Jill did demand a recount and crowed when Bravo said something had been wrong with one of the phone carriers -- that their calls didn't get through. OF COURSE, that phone carrier was where Jill supposed all her supporters had been. She probably knew them personally or PAID them, huh, like a call center Bawby hired.

And yes, when Taylor lost she said "Just as I thought" and Andy corrected her ass revealing "No, in the commercial break you said you thought it would be a landslide in favor of you" and she AGREED, "yes, it's just as I said" ... she's a master of confusion and diffusion.

Icy I don't know who would ever work to skew an online or TV poll. Which reminds me...

LOL.
