One of Lauren's beauty "must haves" St Ives Apricot Facial Scrub!!!... I confess I do use it, but wonder what other questionable beauty habits I have.
that scrub is AWESOME- my favorite- but not because Lauren endorses it...

I was just thinking of this the other day and wondering if they still made it. Or am I thinking of Capri Apricot Facial Scrub. Or is that the same thing?

I used it last night as well! (the St Ives) I don't know how old my tube is, but I'm pretty sure I bought it in the last two years.

Don't know if it's the same thing Velvet, but the St. Ives Apricot scrub is definitely popular and consistently ranks high on beauty lists in all of the fashion magazines. That's how I started using it. I used to buy a more high-end product (Lancome and Morad) but I kept seeing this listed in the beauty tips section of those fashion magazines and decided to try it. It does work well.

They still make it- and it's still $3.99 :)...and it's still great(imo) They make a sensitive skin and acne fighting one, too- I think- but this is the same one I've been using forever...

Target makes a knock off of the St. Ives that works just as well IMO. I just used it this morning!

I am sorry but the internet is getting way too big brotherish for my tastes. I just read these posts, clicked on another site and the adds were suddenly for St. Ive's scrubs. I feel like I am being stalked.

I know, it's spooky. I have adblock though, so I never see them.

Yeah I don't get how that happens, I was sending someone a message in Facebook the other day and suddenly there are ads all over for it.

I have no idea if it really works or not but I use Firefox and have the Ghostery add on installed and it blocks a ton of tracking sites. I also use the Ad Blocker Plus add on. Between the two I see very few ads. I'm always surprised by how many ads are out there whenever I use a computer at someone else's house or at my kids school.

Was just browsing Caroline's website. Two of her recipes? Mini cherry cheesecakes!! with a recipe ripped straight off the package from Philadelphia cream cheese! And? Heart Shaped Valentine's pancakes.. first ingredient? Aunt Jemima's pancake mix.
One of her advice columns "How to be supportive of divorcing parents"

One of Lauren's beauty "must haves" St Ives Apricot Facial Scrub!!!... I confess I do use it, but wonder what other questionable beauty habits I have.
I use the Target knock-off of St.Ives and I love it.

Say what you will about Kathy, but I don't think she'd be caught dead putting out a recipe like that!

Ha! That Clownie is so creative.

Reminds me of my brother's recipe for Swedish meatballs; First ingredient? Ikea Swedish meatballs.

I think that Kathy actually does cook and she's probably pretty good at it.

For all of her "NYT bestselling" cookbooks, I don't think Teresa is much of a cook. You'd think at some point they would show her cooking up a big family meal or something but she never does. And every time she goes on a talk show to talk about her cookbooks, she makes the same meal (chicken bruschetta). And really all she does is dump pre-chopped and measured ingredientses onto it. I think I saw her on a show once where she had to cut up something and it struck me how she chopped like someone who doesn't cook much, slow and clunky.

willy - I noticed she did the same recipes at least twice this last book tour, but I chalked that up to her not being so smart. I think her handlers knew her limitations. the emphasis for this book was fast and fit and both times I saw her cook the chicken and balsamic green beans she's also given the nutritional information - fat, calories, portion size and even WW points. She did that w/o notes so I think they figured master one dish vs. switching it up on the dummy.

I give her credit for being a decent cook - remember that big meal she cooked last season - I think it was the family portrait episode. There was so much chaos that I remember us all commenting on how when they finally sat down the first course soup had to be stone cold. I remember that meal looking really good as did her thanksgiving meal. Are they her recipes..hell no, but I don't think Kathy's are either. I would say Kathy is probably a good baker - but that stuff she cooked at goddess night looked kind nasty and it was all brown and wilted.
