She's concerned her social media fans are fighting, but has positioned herself directly in the center of a nasty family feud? What a twat.

If Lauren weighs 155, I can guarantee no way does Bethenny think thats okay, she was merely sucking up to her guests.

Actually I found that comment by Bethenny absolutely stupid and she was looking to her audience for clapping. The clapping didn't come right away so they must have put up a sign saying "cheer" I think B wants everyone else fat so she can be the skinniest. It's a problem with people with eating disorders.

That is interesting that Clownie is actually aware that so many ppl dislike her - I'm surprised she didn't chalk them all up as 'haters,' like Jac does. Should Lauren be losing weight faster than she is? I'm not familiar with the length of time weight loss takes with a lapband, but hasn't she had it for around 6 months or so? And hasn't she said that she works out 2 hrs a day or something ridiculous?

Yep, oleander, she should have lost more than 50 pounds, especially at her age and if she is working out like she says she does. she had her lap band loosened, so she can "enjoy her meals" which isn't exactly a strategy for success.

Clownie has an overinflated sense of self. I'm betting she considers those who dislike her as lesser people anyway, so their opinion is insignificant to her.

My thoughts on Lauren's lapband is that she had it loosened up so she can consume larger portions. My friend had the LB and lost a lot of weight quickly, but because she could eat so little, and since she hadn't dealt with her issues with food, she tended to eat high calorie foods with little nutritional value and was getting sick from them. she started losing her hair etc. She eventually had the dr loosen the band so she could eat more and now has gained back nearly all the weight she lost. Lauren enjoys eating, and she likes to eat fattening foods, without more support from mom (serving lighter fare, making sure fruits and veggies are available) she will struggle, because she feels she is depriving herself. Clownie in her bulldog way is trying to make Lauren do it all on her own.. if she wants fruit salad, she should make it herself, if she doesn't then she isn't serious. But I feel for Lauren, who wants to sit there with a bowl of melon when everyone else is having pastries. I know Lauren has to have willpower, but if Clownie laid out a dessert spread that featured low calorie fruit salad and jellos as the centerpiece with a handful of mini italian pastries , it might give Lauren a boost. That said, no way Lauren works out two hours a day.

I have a question since I watched the interview. Did Lauren lose 50 and then gain 60 since the lap band? I thought she said she did that in the past and now she got the lap band and is trying something else. I didn't think she meant that she lost it and gained it back since the lap band. It seems I am wrong but that's how I understood it.

I can so see B saying/doing this.

I'm 5'5 and my normal weight is 145-150. I'm not a small girl, typically a size 10. Closer to 145 and I can get into an 8. I don't know but 155 at 5'3 sounds bigger than Lauren looked when I last saw her.

Velvet it does and that is not a perfect weight and Bethenny knows this and should not have said that. It was gross if you ask me. Just say nothing. At least Lauren came back and said NO I'm 5 3 and that's too heavy.

Gee, sounds like Lauren gave the same amount of dedication to the lap band as she did with her makeup booth. Yeah, she'll go far in life.

To be fair to B- she said Lauren didn't need to lose any more before Lauren said she was 155...

now off to give a little barbeque with TONS of fattening food (I'm BAD.....). NOT having fries, though :)

eta: I only invited "older" people over- so they'll probably be gone by 8pm:)

Perfect! Albie can inherit the apartment above the Brownstone - the perfect love nest for him and Greggy, when his beard, er, wife gets to be too much.

My doctor said 140 was the perfect weight for someone my height (5'3") -- but perhaps he is also factoring in my age.
