Asslee is such a troll. After seeing that bitch of an aunt talk about her on TV that way while enabling her own loser children, I'd want nothing to do with her if I were Asslee, but then again, Asslee is a misguided moron.

Well. It was only a matter of time. Jax's house is in pre-foreclosure.

Happy reading!

ETA: holy crap. Found their property record online. Their annual taxes are $33,713. They pay $3000 a month!!! I don't even pay that a year. Shit!!!

Happier Reading!

Even if I won the lottery or something I don't think I'd buy a house that huge. What's the point? I'd hate having to have cleaning people in my house every day but there is no way you could keep something like that clean without having help. It's obnoxious.

I get what you mean Willy, but I hate to tell you that taxes like that are not uncommon in northern NJ for smaller homes than Cows. I think for the size of her house and the size of her lot, that is pretty reasonable. The value of her home must not be that high or her town has good ratables. If you live in a county with a poor city (like Newark or Camden) then the rest of the county pays for it. 1/2 of my property taxes go to our county. The other 1/2 is split between our school cost and our town expenses. For our district's $81 million school budget, the State gives us $1.8 million. The rest comes from property taxes. We only have about 5200 homes in our town. I know someone whose home is a lot like Jax's - and their assessment was $100,000. They were able to appeal it and get it down to $60,000 per year! I just can't imagine spending that much money on taxes alone! Property taxes are a real bone of contention in NJ and part of it is because of the way school funding is designed.

Funny how times change. 30 years ago it seemed like people didn't want to live in NJ. Now it's so desirable that people are willing to pay the ridiculous property taxes there for the benefits.

Their house was assessed around $2M.

That is insane. Can you imagine paying 3k a month on taxes for your McMansion??? I don't understand why these broke fools even have such big houses - most of them are poorly decorated and just look empty. Give me a cozy, roomy house over a huge mansion any day.. but that's probably why my ass is never going to be on one of these shows.

Also - maybe Joe and Tre can offer to buy some stuff of Jac since they are oh so helpful.

What is his claim to fame now since he is no longer playing hide the sausage with the in-the-closet Manzo? Why does he think ppl care about his experiences?

But ccc, they probably have a mortgage payment on top of it. They have a 1.8 million loan. That is huge. Even if they have a 5 yr arm or something, their monthly payment must be pretty high. Velvet, would you know? It's got to be over $3000 a month for that too.

I kind of feel sorry for them in a way. I just remember how Cow's face looked so incredibly tense last season. They have a little kid with autism and their financial world is falling down around their heads. Yes of course they should have sold their home. The market is on an upturn, so maybe they will.

But the other thought is that karma is really a bitch to these women. Teresa for all her faults really seems so freaking resilient. Financial problems, DWI and fraud charges against Juicy, cheating allegations, Mel and Fidget scheming. Yet she doesn't feel sorry for herself.

Cow is sitting there drowning in wine and tears and can't seem to move. The Autism and Beauty seems to have given her a purpose, but there is some serious depression going on there. I feel for her two boys.

Yup. You have to hand it to Tre, she is a hustler and busts her ass to pay all that crap off. Even if Cow had the opportunities, and she does, she wouldn't do anything because she is lazy with no work ethic. I mean, how many seasons has this how been on? Four? Five? And the only thing she's done so far is get that job writing about autism for that magazine. Sad. And all of her Beauty and Autism research is not forthcoming, so...

Assuming that they have a loan on the full $1.8 million, they could be paying around $8000 for a mortgage with TODAY'S rates. There is a chance they have a higher rate and are unable to refinance for a variety of reasons. And they could also have a loan for much more if they cashed out during the heyday. So yes, $11,000 a month for prin/interest/taxes when you're some non-descript businessman hawking black water? Um....seems like a problem.

Oh. Wait. Unless you leverage and cash out all your businesses. Seems to me this is how Chris was paying his mortgage all these years and now that he got caught the cash ran dry and he has nowhere to get more money.

11k a month for your house? I can't even wrap my mind around that. Do you think Jac shared this with Teresa prior to the falling out? Maybe Teresa can invite her for coffee on her deck and yell at her for 8 hrs about refusing to share private information.
