Velvet they bought the house for over 1.7 million but that article said their loan was for 1.8. They probably took equity out and then the market died. Yikes. |

Well, they had to spend the extra $$ to build the Bailey's cellar. |

Which means, they may not be at the coveted 3% interest rate many people got in the last few months...so they may be paying more than $8K on the mortgage. I think if Chris made that kind of money, we would know - his job would be trackable, his income would be known or estimated, we know nothing about him really. He's like a Jim Bellino on OC, he's this generic "businessman" who has no discernible business or talent but manages to pay a ton of money on housing and his life in general - Range Rovers are $70K, he bought Asshat a few cars, he really must have fleeced that clothing business. To me, the Wakile's make more sense. They have a more reasonable sized house, Richie goes around to his gas stations, they aren't rolling in dough and their life makes sense. With the Manzos, you can sort of see that maybe Al is running a business where he's got a captive audience, so he's worked for years and years and made money. But Chris Laurita? Something smells rotten. I fully believe now that he fleeced that business of the money. |

And they need $ for all the prosciutto she's always stuffing in her mouth. Edited by discomom, Mar 10 2013, 04:48 PM.

Yeah Jax gets no sympathy from me. Wasn't she screaming and calling Tre and Juicy cheats and crooks? Chris looked plenty stressed last year, but then dropping hundreds on fancy cold cuts for a poker party is pretty stupid when you can't pay your tax obligations. I give props to Tre once again. Instead of drowning her troubles in Bailey's, she's busting her ass making money. Please let Clownie be the next to fall from her self made ivory tower. NJ property taxes? I live in Westwood NJ just a few miles away from them. My house is worth less than a quarter of their 2 mil manse and I pay just over 10k in taxes. |

Oh Ish. That sucks. I am appraised around the same and I pay $2200 a year in DC. I know it's low though, and it's the reason I don't want to leave DC even though if money weren't an issue I would leave in a heartbeat. So you put an extra $1000 (almost) per month in escrow via your mortgage for that tax bill? Jesus Christ.... |

No mortgage, but a small home equity loan. At least I can write my property taxes off on my 1040. But they're only going up up up! I wish Tre would come out on twitter and really put Jax on blast for being such a hypocrite. But I think it shows just how much a friend Tre really is that she doesn't. Jax owes her, but I doubt she'll ever admit it. Edited by ISH, Mar 11 2013, 04:46 PM.

Not only that, she doesn't tolerate any negative comments about the others. I put something on her Facebook once that said Richie had money issues too according to public record, why does he make a comment about Joe not paying his bills? It got deleted. But the Richie thing was true. I ultimately had to feed that nugget to Faux Reality blog, which they were quite happy to be the recipient of. LOL. |

Well, except I don't believe Chris was paying his bills at all. That's why they are in foreclosure. No sympathy here. Who knows how many people Chris and Cow have fleeced over the years supporting their ridiculous lifestyle. |
