Gia was an extra in "Doubt" before the show. I was impressed by that :) (LOVE that movie)
Loved Meryl in that pic... "and cut those nails"

Removing the stick she has up her ass would go a long way to curing some of what ails her. Removing herself from the public eye would take care of the rest. Stay home, clean up after the ham game, enjoy Crittofer's schtick,re-inflate Albie's ego, continue to crush Lauren's spirit and turn a blind eye to Fat Al's dalliances at the Brownstone. That ought to keep her busy.
Ha! Absolutely. From your post to her ears ISH. The Manzos can always get work as party bouncers - kicking out unwanted guests from other people's homes.

I guess it''s starting to wear him down having to go between Caroline and the mistress of the Brownstone love shack.

on her facebook. It's almost sad- it's him in an easy chair with Caroline and the kids around him- and they look like they're visiting him in hospice.

Extra work sucks. I. Did it a few times when I lived in LA. So boring and hardly any pay. I can see tre taking Gia and doing it but anyone can do it and most of the time u end up on the cutting room floor or just try to get a glimpse of yourself unless you are a principle extra -lol- yes they have those. Then ur face is on longer. Hard for kids to just sit around and do nothing

They shot the first "Amityville Horror" in Toms River when I was a kid- and of course everyone wanted to be extras, and some of our friends got to be in the wedding scene- and then when they showed the wedding reception- they showed only an overhead shot of the dance floor- lol :)

Yep exactly ran jake. Well I,posted Gia's manager and they actually have a section that asks if you want extra work. Big legit managers would never waste their client's time or their's doing extra work. But Gia is on the show now so she's a big client of their's now. Too funny. She's on the website if you go look. So obviously tre still wants Gia to be famous. That's why she gives her all those lessons. I bet gia wants it even more now having tasted fame. Tey aren't from a famille big on brains or school but we can hope. She seems to have a decent head on her shoulders considering her kin

I think Gia is going to be gorg when she grows up. I was watching the reruns yesterday and what I want to know, does Tre dye her hair already? I hope not - but I want to know how Gia got those Blonde highlights. They can't be natural right? she is just so Blonde and neither Juicy or Tre or her relatives have any bit of light hair. Kathy has the light eyes, but the hair - nope.

Funny you all talk about Extra work - I was actually jealous that I couldn't try out to be an extra b/c I'd moved out here to BFE. Last year I had just moved out here from Pittsburgh and I knew several folks (including the ex) who were extras for the new Batman movie that comes out in a few weeks. The ex is a huge comic book geek and was so excited. He'd call me daily to talk about what happened that day. He was making me so homesick I finally had to tell him to knock it off. He was in the Heinz Field explosion scenes. it will be insanely cool to see my old town on the big screen in a big budget movie. My best girlfriend lives right there and she would casually mention how she had to go out of her way b/c they had closed down the street TO SHOOT A FREAKIN MOVIE and how it irritated her and she was pissed they were there. Oh man it was like salt in a festering Midwestern soar.

I know this lady who dyes her 5 hos hair. She's nuts and wants him to be a star. She lies about his age so he can get into classes for, older kids and has him lie too. She's sending him to sleep away camp this year for 3 weeks. Acting camp. He's just a little boy. I can't believe it. She's Russian so maybe it's just her way but I feel bad for the little boy

That sounds nutty Charley but I kinda think that's what's going on with Gia b/c her blonde clearly looks like highlights.

I did extra work in LA back in 2001. I enjoyed it while trying to earn my SAG card. I did GILMORE GIRLS (audience member watching The Bangles perform), ALLY MCBEAL (on the boardwalk in Santa Monica while Fish was in LA), THE PRACTICE (didn't get used, but caught Dylan McD staring at me which was AWESOME), ROSWELL (gambling scenes, two days of work, lots of fun saw all the stars including Katherine H. pre-GRAY's days), and some talk show as a seat filler ... got my SAG card with one line in the opening scene for an episode of STRONG MEDICINE that guest-starred Star Jones ... her scenes took so much time, I was edited out of my scene, but nevertheless, got paid and earned my right to join SAG.

I'd done two horror films back in NY, one as an extra and one in a one-liner (non-union film) and so I thought the extra stuff in LA would at least get me on sets and in the "realm."

Now, 10+ years later I look back on that as my glory days, LOL. I'm happy to have done all of it, even if there was a lot of waiting around, even if I got cut or you just saw my back or me walking by behind the stars. My BFF was a huge ROSWELL fan and I gave her the shirt I'd worn in the scenes in the casino and she LOVED it!

ETA: When I was in HS, they filmed "A Death In Caanan" in my hometown. It starred Bonnie Bartlett, that guy who was in KARATE KID and HAPPY DAYS, Pat something, and Stephanie Powers. I got their autographs. My brothers were extras, playing a game in the street behind a scene. And they filmed SALEM'S LOT with James Mason and ?? a few years later in a near by town. Recently they filmed the Will Smith movie RETURN TO EARTH about an hour from here ... it's all exciting, a little spice in life.

Icy- it all sounds cool. And I loved "A Death in Canaan"- the movie and especially the book (if it's the one about Peter Reilly?)- anyway- sounds VERY cool.
