Yep - they just had a segment about it on Today. Perhaps they'll make a deal but either way they is big trouble in little jersey. They interviewed some lawyers, posted the charges and said they will probably use the footage from the show to establish their extravagant lifestyle. I hope they go down. Oh I guess she did get paid for all those magazine appearances. Edited by cccharley, Jul 30 2013, 07:51 AM.

Willy maybe all that talk about Juicy "going away" and Clownie's prediction that Tre would divorce him are related to the Fed investigation. The NJ stuff seems like small potatoes now. And I think whoever said that they postponed the NJ stuff is probably right. They are probably going to deal with the fed stuff and then wrap the NJ stuff in so that the sentences run concurrently. |

Yeah, maybe that's why the fake ID case keeps getting tossed on the back burner. It's nothing compared to this. I just skimmed the first few pages of the actual court papers and I'm stunned at the false employment charges involving Teresa. I just can't imagine how she can try and get out of this or claim ignorance. There are too many false documents, all with her name on them, and things like W-2's can be traced. This stuff all began long before the Ho's ever came along and it goes way beyond anything Ho related now. It's in the news more because of their Ho celebrity but I think that's where it starts and stops from a celebrity standpoint. I'm sure the feds have watched the old shows looking for evidence against both of them. This is serious and I would not want to be in their shoes right now, that's for sure. |

God, they are such idiots. I never understand the people who just don't file federal taxes. Really all taxes, but i'd rather fuck around with the state government than the IRS. And then, knowing that they haven't filed taxes in, what, 5 years, they go on a TV show showcasing supposedly wealthy people? That is some brain dead level dumb shit. |

http://www.tmz.com/2013/07/30/teresa-and-joe-giudice-back-in-court-to-face-fraud-charges/ If you watch the video, towards the end it looks like Mama Giudice is elbowing the reporters. |

Juicy punched a reporter's camera when they went to court. Now he's "so famous" he will fight with the paps. Who do they think they are? The chickens have come home to roost and bite them in the ass. Although I hate Melissa she must be laughing her ass off - until she gets hers! I'm sure they cheated too. Maybe they are investigating the entire clan of thieves. Ita - how do criminals or cheaters go on national tv and flaunt their wealth? I think Bravo would love to film it but they will undoubtably wash their hands of them if they don't make a deal. It will not be Andy Cohen's decision but GE's. They won't want them on payroll. If I were them I'd get out of that disgusting mansion of theirs and move somewhere more modest. I feel most for the children - especially GIA. Her friends will absolutely know. They read papers - if only online - and her parents friends as well. They'll be the talk of the town. Perhaps they should move out of state. Can you imagine Tre in witness protection The Guidice's made their beds and they will sleep in them. I just cannot find any compassion for them. Years of this and then more to just live a lifestyle they didn't earn. I hope they go down and are used as an example. The nerve of them to go on TV and flaunt it. Nerve of Teresa to say she couldn't live in a house somebody else had previously occupied. I still have no idea how she stays in hotels. Different people sleep there nightly. |

So I guess we now have so much to talk about. I had no idea Juicy wasn't a citizen. My dh is a Brit and we are currently applying for citizenship. Wonder why he never became a citizen. I had to go to TWOP = did anyone post the NYT's - they really made it now http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/30/nyregion/reality-star-and-husband-are-charged-with-fraud.html?hp&_r=1& Here I'll add an oldie I picked up from TWOP - about Juicy the landlord - what an upstanding citizen - oh I forgot - he isn't a citizen - oopsy http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?section=news/7_on_your_side&id=8566816 Edited by cccharley, Jul 30 2013, 01:08 PM.

I didn't know he wasn't a citizen either. I wonder why not? Hasn't he lived in the US since he was a little boy? According to this, they aren't allowed to travel outside of NJ and NY as part of their bond. That's going to put a crimp in Tre's book signings and such. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2381308/Real-Housewives-stars-Teresa-Joe-Giudice-freed--1-million-bond-court-appearance-financial-fraud.html |

The thing about the "landlord" (even though he lied and said he never owned the building; then admitted he did) was why I could never get on board his "like" train in any fashion. A "good" Dad doesn't let other people's children suffer as he did, imo. Reading old stuff, the thing with the notary blew me away. He had a fresh college grad who was a notary working in his office. Then I guess she left and asked for her seal/stamp back and he told her he threw it away- but he was USING it left and right and signing her name! His testimony was so blase about it "sometimes she stamped, sometimes I stamped, what's the big deal?" I had seen Mama Guidice swatting at the reporters this morning-OMG! Teresa looked very frightened, to me. I don't know the law- but some papers are saying it's unusual that they have separate lawyers- that it may mean she's going to sort of sell Joe out. I really do hope at least she doesn't go to Jail. I really do feel terrible for their girls. Edited by ranjake, Jul 30 2013, 02:41 PM.

I bet shes going to plead out somehow. I doubt he's going to be as lucky. If they are doing this to get him to rat some ppl out, then shes just a casualty, and they may not be interested in her. I can believe he never applied for citizenship. Some ppl don't have their priorities right. My sister's trainer needed to complete his citizenship paperwork once. He had been here as a legal resident for 10 yrs but never got around to doing it. He had no problems bragging about dropping 1500 on designer eyeware but balked at the $250 charge - which was a steal for him - of having an attorney do his paperwork to make him a citizen. Some ppl have strange priorities. |

I think Joe's fugetaboutit, who cares, he's a dum dum attitude is a big part of the problem. He showed the same attitude with his drivers license, with the notary stamp, with signing his partners name on documents, with shoving the camera guy. You can't just create documents whenever and however you want to and then act like everyone else is crazy when they call you on it. If Tre is going to sell Joe out IMO it would only be because that's what her and Joe have agreed to privately. He'll take the fall, she'll stay out of jail and hustle to earn money and raise their girls. But in order for them to agree to that privately, it would mean she's probably going to have to lie again on the stand and he will lie to cover for whatever she actually did. Now this is just supposition on my part, of course. I have no idea who signed what or who made up the documents that were turned in. |

I don't care if she goes to true Jail but 30 days wouldn't hurt her. Give her a new view on how lucky she's been. Selling her big house and moving into an apt would be a good reality slap for her although she'll probably get paid for it by some network which will make me sick. Break the law and then go on and make money off it. UGH I hate that. |

I've always wondered why they were still living in that ginormous house if they were having such money troubles that they had declared bankruptcy in the first place. She's doing well enough now I think that they could have moved into a smaller house that was still big and fancy compared to us average folk. |
