Where is all of Tre's jewelry listed on her assets? She didn't list her ring so maybe it was fake but for sure she had way more gold. It must be hidden away somewhere nth is is the old one. She could have sold a ton of it when gold was high but this was after the filing. It's obvious she is hiding assets
Well, they did make that trip to Italy during season (3?) She could have very easily packed a bunch and "accidentally" left it there with relatives.....

Oh oh oh. Right, Disco. Forgot that part that he was forging her name too.

How stupid then. He could easily get any document notarized by anyone who knows him or sees his driver's license. Oh. Wait.

LOL.

You know, in addition to the "going away" comment Caroline made, she also said that Teresa puts a lot of pressure on Joe, didn't she? I remember her implying that the things Juicy did were to appease Teresa and her love of money, and that it was basically her fault or something like that. I guess this is what she was talking about, though I'm ready for her closet door to open too so we can see her skeletons.

Of course, we have to melt a lot off some of the skeletons in her closet, unless they have lap bands.

I remember OJ hiding stuff in friends' garages, but they did find it during the civil trial phase, IIRC.

No, I wasn't saying people with children should get passes, just that it's a punishment for the children to lose their parents. If the parents are criminals, it's bad luck for the kids if they get caught. I guess with four children to think of, it impressed me more that they're going to lose their childhood years with their parents if jail time results from this. You can't get that back after prison is over -- the kids are grown.

I have to add that despite the nice lifestyle they seem to live, they're not out there going nuts with big ticket items. Yes, they take vacations, but that seems to be just going to the beach to work on their tans. Italy was a Bravo deal. Napa Valley, too. So working vacations and not even really over-the-top in any way that I could see. Their house is very nice, I'm jealous of that. But they're not being chauffeured or flying to Las Vegas to gamble or having lavish parties every weekend. The parties they do have tend to be family events like birthdays, holidays, christenings ... so I don't look at them as total skeeves on the planet, who take outrageously. More like they have cushioned normalcy. The kids don't go to private schools, right? And Tree and Juicy don't have servants, other than MILs. So ... I don't know, but I think all this is preventing me from seeing them as so bad.

And they lied to banks. What kind of fucking idiots work at those banks that didn't check the paperwork? A little due diligence on their part and it's all exposed and the loans are denied. There has to be some acceptance on the banking industry's side that they didn't really check and handed out loans much too easily. They helped this situation come to bear with many more people than the Guidices.

I tend to disagree. Their parties were over the top. We would have to see how they were prior to their signing with Bravo to know what their lifestyle was like. Maybe they don't like to fly. They bought a house at the shore - so instead of taking vacations they went there but they "OWNED" it - lol. We don't know if Juicy gambled. He could have without us knowing. The amount of money they spent on clothes, cars etc was huge. More than just taking a beautiful trip to St. Tropez. One reason to live in NJ is that you don't do private. I know many very truly wealthy people who live in NJ and all their kids go public until college. The taxes are quite high for that reason. I don't know how the taxes are in their particular town. It's not top of the line but they wanted a HUGE McMansion not just a run of the mill one. The kids had ridiculous clothing and they also got ever class they ever wanted or Tre wanted them to take. She didn't have a nanny bc mommy helped and I will never believe she cleaned that house herself.

But the notary has to sign as well, so I think he kept the notary's stamp and forged her name, if I read things correctly.
Yeah- he did- he said to the Notary "I threw it out!" To Icy's point on the due diligence re: the banks on the W2's- I guess since the companies they listed were allegedly owned by them, if a banker called re: Tree, they got to speak to Juicy "Yes- she works here, yes, she makes $8k a month", and vice versa.

I'm not sure either of them grew up "poor". They probably grew up a lot like my John- working-class Jersey, Italian American neighborhood, they were in Patterson (John was in Elizabeth :) probably in the "Italian" section, and everyone's two-family was clean as a whistle, and all of your relatives live either in the same 2 family or next door. We lived in the bottom of John's parents' 2 family for a year when we first got married. They charged us $200 a month rent- and that's how we could become homeowners at 24 :) When we lived in that apartment, the phone rang one night, and I was told "The light no longer shines on the Blessed Virgin!" I gave the phone to John; it was his Aunt Helen. He had to hustle across the street to HER 2-family to fix the light that shined on "Mary" :) in her Garden.

But my point is- it's not a bad life. Juicy's parents had that Cabin with the Chapel, John's parents had a shore house that I'm living in right now. And it was a TRIP living in those neighborhoods with all family around, and GREAT food. It was the CITY- to me, and I was glad to move back to Cranford a year later, but it was not a life I would consider "poor".

I think we have hit an impasse. At this point, those who dislike the Juicys are gonna continue with that feeling and await their fullest prosecution under the law, those who like the Juicys are gonna continue with that feeling and advocate for leniency, and those of us who neither liked nor disliked them but were entertained by them on our TV will continue to feel sad.

I DIDN'T like them- but I hope for leniency. For both parents; for the sake of the kids. Even if there's leniency and they don't get much or any jail time, this is a huge blow to those girls, who are completely innocent. Life as they know it will change regardless, too much :(

They claim the house is worth $1.9. I don't know if they could get that in today's market.
They couldn't. Kim G, as much as I hate to admit she's right about anything, is right about the house. It's a dump. I looked closely at some pictures. The land and the house have been neglected (peeling paint, popping nails, dry wall tape showing though) and it's right on the freeway. 100 yards (a football field) from the 287. That's some loud traffic noise day and night.

No pool, either.

Montville has a lot of low lying areas, and it always looked to me like that house was in a low-lying swampy area. It always looked squat - kind of like Juicy. Like it was a ranch that they built on top of.

Kim G is really vile. Even Cow called her out for her gloating.

I agree, it is a punishment for the kids as well. And that's a shame, it really is. But the responsibility for that lies with their parents.

They have gone nuts with big ticket items. Why do those kids need iPhones? The oldest is only 12. They could and should have sold the shore house. People declaring bankruptcy surely aren't in a position to own a vacation home, especially one that they don't appear to earn any kind of rental income from. I can't find the document now but earlier I was reading the letter from the bankruptcy judge where he denied the bankruptcy and went on to list all of the assets that the Giudice's didn't mention they had when they filed for bankruptcy. I remember one of them was a Maserati.

Also, just as one of those things that makes you wonder...they put on their bankruptcy filing that part of their income was $10k/month "assistance" from a family member. It doesn't name the family member but who has the kind of money that they can just give someone $10k/month every month? Seriously doubt it was Joe and Melissa, they probably didn't have it themselves. Joe's brother Pete declared bankruptcy himself, couldn't be him. What did Juicy's father do for a living? Does he have a lot of money?

And there is NWIH Tre cleans that house by herself. No way. She's gone too much working and even if she was totally a SAHM that house is just too huge. Does she make her poor mother do it? I don't see Tre as the type to have live in housekeepers but I guarantee you she has a girl or two come in a few times a week to clean. Either that or the huge house is for show and they are really only living in a few of the rooms. And if that's the case, why keep that huge show house instead of selling it and moving into something more reasonable?

My Mom "gifts" the 3 of us every year (soooo LUCKY- <3 you, Mom!) But NOTHING like $10k a month. Not that she would have that anyway, but if she gifted more than she was allowed, in NJ, she'd have to pay gift tax; so maybe it was a combo of relatives? The reason she does give us these gifts is to eventually avoid Estate tax; but LEGALLY :) All legal.

Bethenny and Tre always hated each other. I don't think she should have commented but then again she got another bit of press. Hopefully they won't go back and check her schedule 3s when she took all those business losses. I think they expire after 7 years anyway so she would be in the clear and I'm sure she uses a big time accountant now - not that accountants are always on the up and up lest we remember what happened with Arthur Andersen.
