But the notary has to sign as well, so I think he kept the notary's stamp and forged her name, if I read things correctly.
Yeah- he did- he said to the Notary "I threw it out!" To Icy's point on the due diligence re: the banks on the W2's- I guess since the companies they listed were allegedly owned by them, if a banker called re: Tree, they got to speak to Juicy "Yes- she works here, yes, she makes $8k a month", and vice versa.

I'm not sure either of them grew up "poor". They probably grew up a lot like my John- working-class Jersey, Italian American neighborhood, they were in Patterson (John was in Elizabeth :) probably in the "Italian" section, and everyone's two-family was clean as a whistle, and all of your relatives live either in the same 2 family or next door. We lived in the bottom of John's parents' 2 family for a year when we first got married. They charged us $200 a month rent- and that's how we could become homeowners at 24 :) When we lived in that apartment, the phone rang one night, and I was told "The light no longer shines on the Blessed Virgin!" I gave the phone to John; it was his Aunt Helen. He had to hustle across the street to HER 2-family to fix the light that shined on "Mary" :) in her Garden.

But my point is- it's not a bad life. Juicy's parents had that Cabin with the Chapel, John's parents had a shore house that I'm living in right now. And it was a TRIP living in those neighborhoods with all family around, and GREAT food. It was the CITY- to me, and I was glad to move back to Cranford a year later, but it was not a life I would consider "poor".
I love your stories, ran!! I could use an Aunt Helen to teach me some recipes!

I agree, it is a punishment for the kids as well. And that's a shame, it really is. But the responsibility for that lies with their parents.

They have gone nuts with big ticket items. Why do those kids need iPhones? The oldest is only 12. They could and should have sold the shore house. People declaring bankruptcy surely aren't in a position to own a vacation home, especially one that they don't appear to earn any kind of rental income from. I can't find the document now but earlier I was reading the letter from the bankruptcy judge where he denied the bankruptcy and went on to list all of the assets that the Giudice's didn't mention they had when they filed for bankruptcy. I remember one of them was a Maserati.

Also, just as one of those things that makes you wonder...they put on their bankruptcy filing that part of their income was $10k/month "assistance" from a family member. It doesn't name the family member but who has the kind of money that they can just give someone $10k/month every month? Seriously doubt it was Joe and Melissa, they probably didn't have it themselves. Joe's brother Pete declared bankruptcy himself, couldn't be him. What did Juicy's father do for a living? Does he have a lot of money?

And there is NWIH Tre cleans that house by herself. No way. She's gone too much working and even if she was totally a SAHM that house is just too huge. Does she make her poor mother do it? I don't see Tre as the type to have live in housekeepers but I guarantee you she has a girl or two come in a few times a week to clean. Either that or the huge house is for show and they are really only living in a few of the rooms. And if that's the case, why keep that huge show house instead of selling it and moving into something more reasonable?
The money they received from a family member or friend is pretty easy to fudge. You can get a letter saying they gave you the money or as in Juicy's case he can forge a letter saying that's where they are getting their money from which to live. It could have said that for the sole purpose of explaining how they live their lifestyle or pay the bills that they did pay. So they get this number - in their case - 10K - and name someone who maybe gives it to them. Then they can explain meals, car payments etc. Also they can say they got in cash instead of a check. If they really did get the money then it could have been in cash, a check to them, or payments directly to creditors.

Aunt Helen was soooo cute, Disco :) They ALL cooked great, lol- their "gravy" was AMAZING. It was a trip for me; it was like living in a foreign country. If I had a nickel for every time a 4'10" Italian Woman walked in on me Breast-feeding (and then told me I was doing it wrong :) I'd be rich. Good times :) Imagine getting sucked out of the suburbs into "Moonstruck". I think I told you Guys this already- my MIL literally used "I'll kick ya 'til yer dead" as an expression (just like in "Moonstruck"). As in "Chollie (Charlie, my FIL) if you drip that watta (water) on my rug, I'll kick ya 'til yer dead".

Love your stories Ran. Did you write them all down? Probably not - I always say I'm going to write things down and never do. Or I start and never finish.

Some of them. I do write some stuff down for the Boys. We just found the big seashell John put my ring in when he proposed, and the boys didn't know that story, so I wrote that one down. In the beginning I was way too emotional. Then at Xmas I want to send out a mass mailing with enclosures and SASE- entitled "tell us something about John we don't know" :) His 2 best friends- they still come help me so much- and that's what I say to them every time I see them, and I always learn something new. I just do know how much everyone forgets- with my Dad and my Grandma- and I just want to document as much for the kids as I can. By Xmas I should be ready. Right now still busy playing "$tronger than the Storm" with Governor Christie-lol- and trying to get back some of the $$ I put out, if possible. I used to love to listen to John's Aunts and his Mom talk. They'd get everything just a little wrong. "Dirty Larry". "Barry Man-ALONE". Then you'd say- "Oh, you like Barry MANILOW?" And the next one would say "Oh, yeah, Man-Alone is good". I can see how Teresa gets to "Brown Chica Brown NOW".

Bethenny Frankel who talked to us about Teresa and Joe’s situation.

“Do I feel sorry for them? No,” the talk show host told the mag. “Not so much because they broke the law. They broke the law and they went on television. It’s not really that smart. I feel bad for them because they have kids and their kids didn’t sign up for this.”

As if she wouldn't die to have Tre on her show after Ellen's celeb contacts dry up.

Ranjake I love your stories. There is something so americana and colorful about ethnicity that we have lost out here in the suburbs. We are all so homogenous now. No traditions except iphones and the like. Maybe that is why I get such a kick out of Juicy and Tre and their schtick.

LOL. Excellent.
I really love this story! Make sure you keep that written down to pass to your kids when they have kids! That's a great family gem!

ETA: LOL, just finished reading everyone else's comments, and seems they beat me to telling you to pen the memoirs!!!

What ever happened to innocent until proven guilty? Bethenny Frankel is a lowlife piece of pond scum and I truly hope she gets her ass handed to her in the divorce. "kids didn't sign up for this." Pot, meet Kettle.

For REAL???? LOL- Did she know what an Orgy was???

I can't write a book. And I'm not being modest or "waiting 'til Momma dies" :) Every family has the BEST stories. And I'm a good enough reader to realize I'm a crap writer :) I just want it for the Boys.

I found this on Instagram. You would think she wouldn't post pictures for at least a few days. Read the comments if you can stand them. She is wearing an Hermes cuff like one of the comments states. Loved the Weiner comment. She sets herself for this though by posting it. She should just take a step back. Surprised her lawyer didn't tell her that.

Glad to see that federal indictments didn't get in the way of her Hamptons vacation.
