Oh EM GEE! This better not be true or Andy will be dead to me. Not really, I can't ever stay mad at Andy for long but still, this better not be true. Gross. If someone really needs a spinoff, I'd sooo watch the OG of the OC [Vickster] and her extended family (mom, brothers, etc.) Minus Ryan of course. |

No kidding, cosmo and WillyWonka. How tone deaf can Bravo/Andy be if they think there is any interest what so ever in the Manzos. Good grief, just watch the current series Andy, they add nothing to the show! Perhaps his Manzos obsession will finally be Andy's Waterloo. |

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2389454/Not-care-world-Teresa-Joe-Giudice-smiles-Florida-despite-ongoing-financial-fraud-case.html So 2 questions. First, if Tre was given permission to travel to FL for work, does that mean Juicy was being paid to be there, too? Second, if Tre's defense is going to be that Juicy signed everything, she knew nothing about nothing, how does it help her case that she's still with him and all smiles? If my husband had put us into that kind of position and I truly was clueless I would be so furious with him that they might have to hold the criminal trial in divorce court. What does it say to the court that she doesn't seem all that upset with him? I lied, I have a third question. I'm fashion clueless as usual. Is she wearing designer stuff again? |

I don't think they really have a restriction on travel like was originally reported. Tre said tweeted "don't believe everything you read." There may have been a restriction that they could only travel for business and with the consent of the court. In many cases, personal reasons like a family celebration (wedding, bar mitzvah etc) is ok as is business. Look, if Teresa is expected to pay back all of the money they defrauded, it is better that they actually let her earn money to do so. I think Tre is still with him because she can say that everything he did was to provide the family with a better life, it was out of love. |

And I think Tre really loves Juicy. But her powers of denial are amazing. She doesn't seem to understand that this isn't just his problem - she was indicted too! But I wouldn't be surprised if Juicy does end up taking the fall for it all. He seems like something he would do for her and the kids. Can you imagine him in some federal white collar prison? He would do fine. He'd probably do fine in a regular prison. Now, I want to see those Gorgas and Manzos go down too. |

Yeah, that's what I mean. Tre traveled there because I'm sure it was a paid appearance and she got the courts permission because it was for business. But unless Juicy was being paid to be there too then how did he get permission to travel with her? |

I think the reason for the travel restriction is risk of flight. They have their passports. If the feds know exactly when and where Tre and Joe are going, then maybe they okay it - even if it is not for business.

And it seems to me, they are INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY. Right? LOL. SO ... restricting them from leaving anywhere would be punishing them before conviction. Considering this is not a violent crime, it makes sense to me that they can travel around the US for business, including any Bravo "vacations" for the show. |

I would also assume that they don't have to testify against each other if they remain married. Isn't that still true or is it not true in federal cases? |

Of course they are but keep in mind that OJ, Casey Anthony and George Zimmerman were all found innocent in courts of law, just to give a few examples. ;) Also, it's not me saying their US travel should be restricted. That's what I've read that the federal judge ordered. Now obviously it's not like the judge and I are BFF's so I only know what I read and maybe that wasn't true after all. I was just wondering why Juicy got to go too unless he was also paid to appear. |

Willy I wonder if they were wrong about the travel restrictions within the US. Maybe they just had to notify if they were traveling out of state. Who knows. CCC - IIRC the marital privilege has an exception if the husband and wife are co-conspirators in unlawful activity like fraud. So Juicy can't prevent Tre from testifying against him and vice-versa. However, they both can still plead the 5th in so far as their own activities. |

Does anyone know how long it generally takes from indictment until trial or pleading and sentencing? Months? Years? |

When I looked up Martha Stewart's case I think her trial was about 9 months after her indictment. |

It probably depends on how crowded the courts are and how complicated the case is. I think they are due back in court any day now. Wasn't it mid August? |
