Wetpaint has an option at the very bottom of that popup that says 'no thanks' or something like that. You don't have to like the page to read it. I think the ad also disappears if you refresh the page.

I have a ton of ad blockers on my desktop and laptop so I don't see too many ads on ROL. But I want to go poke my eyeballs out with a fork when I try to read it on my phone. They have so many freaking pop up ads, blinky ads, you close one ad and another one shows up, ads mid-word in articles...omg it makes that site nearly unreadable on a phone.

And while I'm on a tangent I'm sick of sites telling me they have an app. If I wanted the app I would have downloaded it already. And I won't be downloading it as long as the app wants permission to make phone calls with my phone, take pics with my camera, track me with GPS or any of that other sneaky crap. WTF does it need to do any of those things if all I'm trying to do is read a local news stations website on my phone??

I think it is okay if she is working before she is convicted of anything. Especially if they need to make restitution.

The stress appears to be getting to Teresa, who looked as if she hasn’t missed too many meals since being indicted last month.

Asked if he’s told the couple to lay low, Feinstein said “we have told them to continue life as they've lived it."
"They shouldn't imprison themselves at this time because they're presumed to be innocent,” he said. “They're going to go on with their lives."

Well, say what you will about Teresa; she has moxie. I wonder what the Manzos will have to say about this?

My brother lives in Pequannock and I had to drop something at his house. Went past Posche! Nice crowd outside. But I didn't have the balls to go in since I was alone. From the pics I saw today Tre looked really good. I gotta give her credit, she's got guts. From a court appearance to a book signing.. I'd have crawled into my bed with a case of Fabellini and pulled the covers over my head.

As reprehensible as what the two of them are accused of doing, I find myself rooting for them.

I love watching her with the girls, she really seems to enjoy her kids. Melissa's kids I think are starting to have more personality than in previous seasons. Gino's comments to his father about the billboard? Last season Melissa would have been all over his ass for that.. now not so much.

Oh my - a restaurant - a perfect way to wash money! - keep going Tre. Listen she's got her fans and I suppose she may as well capitalize on it but still I think it's gross for her to take on investors after what she did - the article did say her and Juicy - not just Tre.

WW - there is probably an idiot behind every tree or a smart man who can open a cheap restaurant for Tre fans. He puts the money in and then loses it and has a great tax loss. If it takes off he franchises it and wins. That's how the rich keep getting richer. I do think she should be put on hold though until the outcome of her court case. All she does is slap her name on things anyway. If she opened a restaurant in NJ it would be a new storyline. Ick

Maybe Fat Al can give them some advice. I'm sure he knows a trick or two about cooking the books. And Richie with his gas stations.. lotsa cash flows thru his hands, l'll bet not all of it is accounted for.

Prosecutor rejects plea deal for Teresa.
'Teresa wanted a plea deal that keeps her out of jail so she offered to do anything else but jail time and have Joe serve all of the time in jail. The prosecutor dismissed the deal outright,' a source told the website.

http://blogs.wsj.com/bankruptcy/2013/08/16/the-broke-and-the-beautiful-giudice-edition/

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Teresa and Joe Giudice were recently charged with fraud and later released on bond. And this week, they pleaded not guilty, the Associated Press reported. During the five-minute proceeding, which took place Wednesday in the U.S. District Court in Newark, N.J., the couple didn’t speak while their lawyers entered the pleas. Miles Feinstein, a lawyer for Joe Giudice, told the AP that the couple should “continue life as they’ve lived it” and that “they shouldn’t imprison themselves.” Among other charges, the Bravo reality-TV stars face counts of bankruptcy fraud and making false statements on loan applications. If convicted, the Giudices could spend time in prison or pay hefty fines. And Joe Giudice, who’s not a U.S. citizen, could be deported. (Mr. Miles noted that Mr. Giudice came to the U.S. when he was 2 and hadn’t previously been aware he wasn’t a U.S. citizen.)

Seriously?? Now Juicy is claiming he had no idea he wasn't a US citizen after all these years?

Do you think it is at all possible that his parents were able to get him a passport and all these years he has just been renewing it?

Willy, I don't put much stock in the source about the "prosecutor." A real source from the U.S. Attorneys office would have said U.S. Attorney - they're funny like that. Prosecutors are usually assumed to be state attorneys not federal. It is way more prestigious to be federal. And secondly, they don't talk usually about plea negotiations. Now, it could have come from one of Tre's friends/attorneys. Because that whole defense group comes across as a little bumbling at this point.

Yeah but the article was in the Wall Street Journal via the AP. You'd think between the two they would do some fact checking.
