Yes. Pay to sit. Only the water's edge is free - the actual ocean. And I guess on LBI each little town (and there are a ton of them) probably have their own beach tags.
Right. I also think it sucks to pay for beaches, or to even have private beaches- but we always have- and this year, especially, every little LBI town needs ALL of it's possible revenue. Most of the Shore is still "dead"-ish and there's so much to be done yet. Now we're having a lot of first-responders' with respiratory problems. I think almost everyone down here has tried to "fudge" beach badges at one time or another; knowing that if you're caught- you pay up or move. Down here, people are livid that they all (allegedly, including the Men) yelled and cursed at the 18-year old female lifeguard. Will let you know if I here any more gossip.

We used to go to LBI when I was a kid. Ship Bottom, Surf City, Brant Beach, Beach Haven. Every year a different town. When my parents bought a house, they went further down. The bridge killed it.

The Giudices musn't have been at their normal beach. Otherwise, they would have been having these incidences all summer knowing them.

Ranjake I have friends in Normandy and they say they only have like 1 beach left. Her son is a lifeguard and has only worked a couple days this summer as a sub because they don't have enough beaches left to accommodate them all.

From TWOP, for your listening pleasure:

O M G! I never dreamed it could be this bad!

This is Melissa singing her new single 'Never Let Me Go' live at the video linked below (at the 9:20 mark).

Squirming with embarrassment for her

ETA: Link is either broken or the vid has disappeared. I'll try finding it. So bad it was good.

Rye according to Famewhorgas - the link was taken down and all you will find now is the auto-tuned version. Too bad I missed it.

FW also has a photo of the police confronting Tre and Joe's group at the beach:
Quote:

The Giudices were part of a group of 30 on Ship Bottom Beach, Long Beach Island, NJ, on August 24, 2013, who argued with a fee collector over the $5 per person fee (photo above) – apparently, the misunderstanding was because the group had just paid a $5 per person fee at a neighboring beach.
In a local NBC report, police said beach goers arguing about the fee with collectors is not uncommon, but it usually doesn’t result in police involvement. The local NBC report is summarized below:
The Giudices were among a large group of people – about 30 friends and relatives – who got into a heated argument with a beach tag collector on Saturday afternoon, refusing to buy a $5 per person beach tag. Police officers were summoned because of inappropriate language. The police chief said that officers helped calm everyone down. The confusion arose because the group had another town’s, a bordering town’s, beach badges. According to police, it was a “misunderstanding at that level,” and the group was told they had to buy their town’s badges. No charges were filed. Police said they have trouble every summer with folks who don’t want to buy badges, although those incidents don’t make waves like this.
The video of the NBC report is at the link below:

Damn, I missed it, too. Rye, on the howife embarrassment scale, how bad was it? Are we talking Money Can't Buy You Class, or Wretchen's air-raping that she committed with her marriage proposal song?

Worse than both of them but not quite as bad as Zolciak's first time at the voice coach. Seriously, it was bad. It wasn't auto-tuned. It was shot at 7 a.m. at some radio station for an audience of what looked like about 12 people in the station's employee lounge. It showed the whole 'stage' and gave a much better view of the hilarity that is Melissa Gorga and her back-up dancers.

Even with the auto-tune in the version below, you can still hear her pitchiness and cracking voice.

UPDATE 1: The video uploaded to youtube.com by the radio station XL106.7 was taken down on August 28, 2013 shortly after this story was published at FW.

UPDATE 2: The copy of the video at dailymotion.com also has been removed as of 1:45 AM on August 29, 2013.

UPDATE 3: Another copy of video at youtube was taken down around 3 PM on August 29, 2013. Melissa doesn’t want people to know how bad she sings without autotune – she even demanded it be removed from youtube by the radio station that recorded the live performance (however, she has no problem with the dubbed over version of the performance in the video below).

When I read the post with the link to the radio station clip, I went there right away and listened and it was her bad version -- but it was bad in the way that all non-singers who think they can sing sound without production -- it wasn't excruciating, though it did blow a fucking crater in her line of "I've always been a singer" ... yeah, one who doesn't sound good without help, but with help ... she could ... be on a reality show on Bravo. ;)

Respectfully, gleefully disagree!

The un-autotuned version is back up!

Skip to the 1:20 if your ears bleed easily. The craptastic dancers really add something to the early morning experience, dontcha think?

Ok something doesn't smell right here. The video is taken from back of the room, but the audio sounds like the recording portion is right at her mike.

So Katy Perry and this little girl with autism, (who, when she was little reminds me of Nicholas) perform Firework together.

This is pretty amazing.

I read on a few different sites today that they filmed the reunion today and Teresa brought her attorney along.

Teresa's ghostwriter/BFF has gone off the deep end on Twitter.

Willy what happened? I looked at her twitter and it seems she was live tweeting and talking about editing. Did something happen in the show that involved her?

Nothing that involved her directly, she's just basically bitching about the bad edit she thinks Tre is getting, how Tre is stuck in a contract, producers are manipulating things to look a certain way. The usual. Everyone is picking on Saint Teresa I think is the gist of it.
