Here is my take on the whole Juicy/Tre situation, for what it is worth (not a lot!): I think they are both spectacularly unintelligent people, either by nature or choice, who got caught up in something way, way, way beyond their ability to deal with or stop. A snowball effect, if you will. Does this make them innocent of the charges? No. But I just do not think they have the intelligence to be evil, heinous people worthy of hatred and vitriol. In their tiny little brains I am certain they believe they are innocent....to a degree. The whole situation of Tre and her brother mirrors this. Of course Tre started the whole campaign against Melissa, but it blew up into something much more than what she had ever intended, with the involvement of Penny, the Greek, Kim D, Jill, Bravo, etc.. And because it got out of her control, she feels that that absolves her of all guilt. It is all so astoundingly stupid, especially considering how easily it all could have been prevented. I will say this however, kinda sorta in Tre's defense, but not really.....I have signed many documents my husband has put under my nose without reading them, because I trust him. My bad I guess, but I trust him and he trusts me. It also helps that I do all our financials so it is easier to trust that way! |

I get what you're saying Dilbert although I do disagree and I entirely disagree on Juicy. When you walk into the DMV with a fake ID you now you are doing wrong. So by that alone I believe he knew exactly what he was doing wrong in the other actions. I also believe that Tre knew it was wrong but not to that extent. She probably was told she would need to do this and that to maintain her lifestyle and agreed that they wouldn't get caught. Evil - eh - not really but heinous and greedy - yes to me. |

Ironically I think some of what Tre and Juicy did was a desperate attempt to keep from having to file bankruptcy. Getting additional cash flow to buy (no pun intended) them time till the construction business picked up again and they could get back on track. Many people in that industry were of the belief that the downturn was going to be temporary and a quick recovery was just a bit down the road. I don't think the fraud was intended to fund a lavish lifestyle, it was to maintain a standard of living they had attained and wanted to keep. Not sure if I'm explaining myself.. I feel like Tre!! |

Ish I think you are right. Money was flowing fast and loose and people were refinancing and taking out home equities right and left. IMO they were borrowing off Peter to pay Paul and thinking one day the market would pick up again and that they would sell a property and then be able to pay everything off. I don't think they took any austerity measures during this time. Lol. Teresa was probably spending her RHNJ money on herself. And I do believe that Juicy kept a lot of the financial stuff from her. |

I read the last few pages (still looking for the "shocker!" Andy was tweeting about) and I agree with you guys. Someone said something like "they probably don't think they are crooks because everyone does it." Ding Ding Ding! I have a feeling they are all crooks, or "mafia light" and that their "crimes" pale by comparison to the things they've seen or grown up with. There is a lot of scamming in construction, at least the way these guys do it. The housing crash probably contributed to it, but I think everyone they know is involved with this crap, and with much worse. Carolyn's father-in-law's body stuffed in the trunk of a car anyone? Hasn't stuff come out about Carolyn and her husband's family business, that restaurant/event center thing too? Juicy was just sloppy, but I doubt anyone on this show has clean hands. |

Tre hooking up with Bravo might also have been an attempt to start bringing in income not related to Joe's business, steady income. The fact that she was so fast out of the gate to parlay her HW position into an author and business woman.. I think she had/has someone with some real smarts advising her. For some reason I just don't think or maybe don't want to believe that the whole house of cards was a deliberate plan from the start. |

And Teresa posted this photo of her dad. Joe Go looks so much like him. Posted Image Are his eyes blue I wonder? Sorry about the size of the photo - I don't know how to make it smaller. Edited by Finestra, Oct 3 2013, 02:30 PM.

I am supposed to be working but am in a procrastinating panic and watching Wendy Williams - Melissa and Joe are on. Her fucking sisters are in the audience. I hate Melissa's hair. |

Same bullshit. Most of what I saw was M&J defending the whole 'have sex with your husband no matter what' stuff. Joe's too dumb to be believed. I think you wrote that Joe Gorga was motivated by attention more than any other thing and I agree. Wendy likes Melissa for some reason - I don't get it. |

I wish I was more excited for Part I of the Reunion tonight. But they keep showing Clownie and her "threat" "BIG MISTAKE" to Tree ... uh, why? Why is that a big mistake? She has no power! I want to say to her "be gone, before someone drops a house on YOU!" |
