I think Vito is just too lazy to find another girl. Remember he was Crittofer's friend first - I think they were like best friends in high school and then he started dating Lauren - before she became CIITR. That was the first season... so they have been dating at least five years. Probably first relationship for both of them, which doesn't in itself make it wrong but CIITR is pretty lazy too. They are probably a pretty good match. He's passive and she's aggressive. Or maybe he's connected too, who knows? But I'm sure there will come a day down the road when he tells her to STFU the way Big Al did to Clownie - if it hasn't happened already. Edited by Cosmocrush, Nov 14 2013, 11:23 PM.

I read a bunch more charges were added today. Teresa apparently said she was a Real Estate Agent and made $15,000 a month back in 2003 or something. I cannot see her explaining the finer points of a contract to ANYONE. Maybe Milania. LOL. |

So people, well Tre, can just say she is something and make up an income and get a mortgage/loan whatever? Aren't those things verified? Sheesh, I basically have to give my dna before I can even cash a check from my own bank. |

For some things they had faux W2's, allegedly. |

No wonder they are in so much trouble. I can't decide if they are just that dumb or arrogant? I'm guessing probably both. |

I think really dumb and connected to people who do shady shit all the time. The reason I say dumb is because I don't think they realize how the advent of computers and the internet has made access to information and cross-checking much easier. In the old days you only had the original piece of paper. Now they can go on the hard drive and get the first draft. I really don't think they thought they were committing fraud as much as just getting a loan and you have to "fudge" a little to get it. "We're gonna pay it back, so no big deal" type of attitude. And it probably would have kept going if the market hadn't dropped and they were stuck with properties. |

Great point, Finestra. They intended to not only pay back the loans, but take out other loans. If the bank failed to do due diligence and gave them the loans, it feels like they allowed the fraud and the bank should be culpable, too. Ripping off the bank should not be so easy, as you point out when there are easy ways to verify. Ten minutes and one of us could find out the lies and how far back they go -- let alone a seasoned bank officer who has the freaking job! I do think intention matters -- they had a booming economy and expected to pay it back, that part wasn't fraud. The economy tanked and now they're in trouble like a lot of folks. This is why I loathe the idea of having my own business. It's hard to tell when to not spend money coming in when it's coming in bucketfuls and seems endless. When do you give yourself a raise? When do you invest in your own lifestyle as commensurate with the new income? I've known people who ran their own business and paid themselves and they always end up buying for themselves and "pretending" it's a business expense. They use their corporate accounts to buy personal things, but pay taxes and repay loans and pay employees, etc. so ... it's all mangled. And you get a brainiac like Juicy, there's bound to be repercussions after a bad season or two. Especially when to Tree, the spending check seemed blank. |

I think it would be easier to chalk it up to someone being idiotic if they did it once say to buy a $300k house. But these two morons did it over and over and over again like this is the normal way to do things. After about the 15th time it gets kind of hard to feel too sorry for them. |

I think getting a loan from a bank is different from writing on a credit card application expected income. Different type of lending and loans. Back when they did it credit was easy but it was quite apparent that they were lying since they didn't simply write down a number - they actually gave a job name (RE) and the income. Although they sound similar they are a different animal all together. |

Yes and I also think it's one thing to inflate your income a little on an application but it's taking it to a whole 'nother level to actually create fake W-2's and to make up employer names, fake salaries, etc. |

CBS news at 5- local had the story on at 5:13. They said they got the court case delayed till April. Is that good or bad for Andy Cohen? Are they filming already? They had the lawyer on and he said basically nothing but that the children are doing fine and that Tre is a great mother and Joe is a great father. Did anyone else catch it? |

Well that's Teresa's mantra, "This could happen to anyone." Except not because not just anyone tries to fraud a bank loan - which is what they did (or are accused of anyway.) I don't care if they thought they would pay it back because they not only didn't pay it back but they stiffed a lot of working people while Teresa was all over the TV throwing money around like it was limitless. |

Plus, keep the notary's seal and say you threw it out :) NOT so sure they meant to pay everything back. Maybe I'm too big of a skeptic, but I just got loans. There's a BIG thing at the end, that your loan officer READS aloud to you before you sign, something like "I swear under penalty of perjury," and I think they even post the criminal codes- that all data and info you provide is legitimate. They read it to you and you sign it. Now if Teresa didn't KNOW Joe printed phony W2's, and thought she really WAS a Realtor because she had a "re-done" home? :) |

If the loan officer was the same on the loans then there is a good chance he was in on it. |
