God, their house is hideous. Truly, truly ugly. The RHONJ hos have the worst taste surpassed only by Adrienne.

Even if I had a gazillion dollars I just can't imagine buying a house that huge. At some point it goes beyond spread out and comfortable and just turns into obnoxious.

Jax's houses isn't as bad as Adrienne's and it might not be too bad if they got rid of those stupid murals.

Camille still wins for the best Ho Wife real estate porn ever.

Yes - Camille, Lisa and Yoyo have drool-worthy homes.

I love Lisa's new home so much more than her old. Don't love the front door sign, but the rest is heaven.

Love Yolanda's house too.

I love the views. I would love Lisa's view if it looked at the ocean too.

Those are truly spectacular. haven't seen enough of Joyce's to make an opinion. It seems nice and in a grown in area. Carltons seems like a McMansion plonked down in the middle of coyote ville. Kyle's is fine. Kim and Brandi too ordinary for BH HW show.

Lisa's is too pink and flowery for my taste.

I like what I've seen of Yo's house and I do like the way she sets a table with candles and fresh flowers and all of that.

Carlton's is way too goth and spartan for me. I want a house that has big cushy chairs and that just feels homey.

Kyle's house itself is laid out nicely from what I can tell. Faye Resnick decorated it and it has way too much white and mirrored furniture for my taste.

Yo's got a much better haircut but she still needs to tone down the white blonde color and get some conditioner in there. What's up with her lips?

Thank goodness Yo cut off that stringy mess but it looks like it broke off. Seems like she could find a decent hair stylist in Beverly Hills for crying out loud.

I hate all the ho-wives houses except maybe Camille's place although it was too too big. A house that big means lots of people in and out cleaning, etc. I liked Adrienne's for the laugh factor. Only Donald Trump's place is worse.

My real estate/decorator porn is more along the Jeff Lewis style.

I think that's one big reason I wouldn't want a ginormous house. I wouldn't like having to have some kind of staff around all of the time. I'd love a cleaning lady once a week but that would put me at my limit of Tolerating Strangers In My House.

When I had a good job I had cleaning ladies come in once a week. In about 90 minutes they went through the house and did everything -- baseboards, sinks, tub, toilets, floors, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, kitchen cleaned, glass cleaned -- it was amazing. I just stayed out of their way in the room I didn't have them clean (office stuff, too confidential) -- and it only cost $80 a week including generous tip. I would do it again in a heartbeat, if I could afford it.

Cow is posting all these quotes about "Change." I wonder what is going on with them and the move. I feel for her two boys. Asshat went back to LA. She is tweeting that it is so nice to see beautiful faces again.

I guess she is over looking at the freak show face of her mother's.

Oh cleaning people are a must if you can afford it. I can only imagine what this place would look like without one because I am not willing to spend my weekends cleaning. Just keeping it picked up is all I'm willing to do. When I first met Mr. C he even used to outsource his laundry and in fact still does on his shirts.

But wouldn't there be a big difference between a once a week cleaning crew/lady and what it would mean to keep up with some of these places the ho-wives live in? Especially with dogs. And not just cleaning but general maintenance on the place too. Then of course the lawns/gardens, etc.

I'm with Willy on Tolerating Strangers in My House/

Maybe she has the secret passageways like the old estates in England? Hear a family member coming, slip into the paneled wall on the stairway landing and disappear!

I wouldn't mind having a staff, I'd figure out a way to avoid having them very noticeable. Cleaning, gardening, and on-call as needed cook, who lives somewhere on the property out of site and can run over on a moment's notice to prepare whatever I want, or need for guests, and chauffeur and masseuse, a helicopter and a jet pilot on standby! Somehow, I would cope with occasional privacy issues... ;)

Probably have a separate out of sight but nearby house(s) for them, I could ring my bell and voila! They do whatever. 2 0r 3 of each of course, so I'd never be without, when they were "off duty."

I've talked about it before, but I worked for a famous comedian (not that famous, thankfully because he was an asshole) and he insisted (via his girlfriend) that the cleaning woman only come when he wasn't home and if he came home early she had to stop vacuuming or doing anything else he could hear or be in any rooms he was in. She was full-time, 5 days a week, but had to manage to get everything done in those hours. He had a radio gig that kept him out of the house from noon to 5 or 6 and then other obligations, so she managed.

If I had to have staff I would hate it because I don't always want to talk to people LOL. They'd probably think I was really rude but I'd hate to have to feel like I had to always be nice and make small talk. I could put up with it once a week for a few hours but all day, every day? Blech. LOL

I liked Kelly's Hamptons house a lot. Agree, Camille's houses are amazing. Lisa's garden is to die for.

Hate, hate Carlton's. Whoever said it upthread, I agree, it looks like it was plopped down in some random place. Kind of reminds me of Teresa's in fact. Plus she bugs me with all this Destiny Mysteri Cross shit with her kids' names plus her constantly commenting on her sex life. I've got to give it to Kyle, at least she doesn't talk like that. Joyce and Yolanda also talk too much about their sex lives.

Cosmo, I'm laughing at your comparing Adrienne's place to Trump's. Both are incredibly tacky!

I just realized I'm in the NJ thread. Just following the discussion!! :$

Looks like Juicy is trying to set it up so that he can take the fall with the Feds.

http://www.celebuzz.com/2014-01-16/joe-giudice-has-a-few-requests-before-he-takes-the-stand-for-fraud/

Quote:

In court documents obtained by Celebuzz, the legally troubled house-hubby claims Teresa Giudice had no knowledge of any alleged criminal activity in relation to the 41 counts of federal fraud against the couple and wants to testify to that effect. But only if he gets a separate trial.

Joe plans on invoking his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination if they have a joint trial, which is set for April.

Joe’s legal eagles are arguing that he is entitled to his own trial to allow the mother-of-four to invoke her right to testify on her own behalf and allow her the right to choose not to testify against her husband.

“Without an order severing the trials, she is placed in the position of choosing to testify on her own behalf and against her husband, or not testifying at all,” per the docs.
