Except ... Tree is famous. Juicy is famous. That goomar's gotta know who she's got and who would come at her with a knife. I'll bet it was part of the attraction "Hey, when you're done with that lowbrow witch, come over and see me, big boy" ... or something more Jersey, LOL. She's probably the type to brag about it.

From the Perez report posted above:

According to reports, Joe gets up in the middle of a dinner party to take a phone call he asserts to be work-related, but as he's proved time and time again, honesty is NOT his strongest attribute!

Oh Perez. Those "reports" are the description of the previews for next week's show not some inside top secret bullshit. And everyone knows that Bravo loves to fuck with their audience with the previews. I should know - I've fallen for them many many times.

Not that I would ever defend Juicy [or Tre really] because in the end I don't really care who Juicy is talking to or what he calls his breadwinner wife. But In Touch Weekly is a notoriously unreliable rag.

Yeah- but Juicy calls Guy workers "Baby"? Maybe it's a new Italian thing I never heard of...

eta: I don't know, Velvet. I know nothing first-hand about extra-marital affairs- but from what I've heard from friends- it's pretty common if their husband has a MISTRESS- not just a bang buddy- to say "My Bitch/Cunt of a Wife doesn't appreciate me; she's so terrible to me- I'm just with her because of the Kids, etc" Sort of like what John Edwards allegedly told Rielle Hunter.

Or maybe I watch too many Lifetime movies???

My point was- whatever happened- the crisis is over, right? They're still married- and this hit the fan a YEAR ago. Teresa put out this article to capitalize on this episode- but they wouldn't just not settle it for a year because it hadn't aired yet. Maybe Teresa is happy sharing the wealth that is JUICY. Who knows what kind of arrangement they have.

I've told you guys about the weird phenomenon since my husband died of random women telling me how much they hate their husbands', right? I can be anywhere- Shoprite, basketball practice- wherever- and someone will plop down next to me and tell me how shitty their husbands are; how they haven't slept in the same bed in 15 years, how stinky they are (Hi Bethenny!). It is so darn strange- I still don't get it- not people I know well- just acquaintances. I don't know what they expect me to say. 'Oh, you're right, I'm better off" "I didn't really like him much , anyway".

Ranjake are they telling you that because they know you are a widow? People are so strange.

Maybe he is talking to his brother or sister and it is a big old family joke that Teresa is a retarded, bitchy cunt.

Yeah- apparently that's why they tell me these things :) they never did before. I'm usually so gobsmacked; I always forget to ask "why the hell are you telling me this?"

Oh ranjake, what a shitty thing to say to you!
Next time you should say "Well, I guess the wrong husband died, because I adored my husband..." and see what they say.
But you sound like me; I always think of the right thing to say later, like when I'm laying in bed that night.

Life is ironic like that :) It's ok...basically sad for them...

Last week- this girl- I'm FB friends with her- she calls her Husband "The Father of her Son"- guy almost died of CHF- all she cared about was how stressed she was . Like I said, ironic...

No, no -- ask "Would you like me to murder him?"

THEN they'll leave you alone!

I don't remember hearing Juicy refer to Tree by name during the phone call, just the lovely c-word and bitch.

I wonder how much Tree got paid for this In Touch "photo shoot".

Exactly! She's got a pretty good publicity team working on her behalf.

ranjake, that is the one of strangest things I've ever heard. Not that women can't stand their husbands but that it's only since you lost your husband that people are saying things like that to you. I wouldn't have any idea what to say to that - but I like disco's suggestion.

I think that Teresa may have only learned of the comments when she saw the previews along with us or saw the episode she received recently to preview in order to write her blog. She may not have known of the comments last year.

The clip on BravoTV.com doesn't have him saying baby. Was that in the previews? Cause Bravo would *never* falsify that.

I thought so. I thought he said "Hi , baby" (I used to LOOOVE when my Husband said that-LOL) and I thought they even captioned it? But maybe not.

Maybe one of the workers is really young- they call him "baby".....

Or Maybe Juicy was singing "Call me Maybe"...

Oh, I forgot before, two questions...

Juicy claimed he was talking to a worker who didn't speak English very well. How exactly does that explain why he was referring to his wife as a bitch and c**t? Are those words Spanish or Italian for "lovely wife" or something?

Who exactly would Juicy be calling for "his work" anyway? I thought he'd told someone who asked (the Manzo boys? can't remember who it was now) that he didn't have the pizzeria anymore at that point because he didn't have a license and couldn't drive there.

This makes me sad. Now Clowny can put her smug bitchface back on and say how right she was.

Oh, and it sucks for Tre, too. But even if Juicy WAS cheating, Tre seems to be traditional Italian enough to not want to know, or, if she had even an inkling, to not question anything further.
