Yeah, they are probably extensions - would hair on both sides fly like that? He looks quite haggard. I hate that shirt she has on under her suit. |

I think she pulled that shirt out from when she worked at Macy's. It just seems so dated. She's all buttoned up. Sister Mary Alice reporting for court Your Honor. |

Completely OT, but I've always wondered - how are you supposed to wear a collared shirt with a suit blazer? I googled - turns out you are supposed to wear the collar tucked in the blazer. So I haven't been committing a fashion faux-pas all these years! yay! |

Okay, now their lawyers must either be pulling out their hair or they are really incompetent.
What assets are they talking about? Everything Teresa does is tweeted about. She can't enter into a contract without her business people seeing it. This makes her lawyers look really bad. They have expensive lawyers. Are Tre and Joe filling out these forms or is Milania. Maybe that is what Milania whited-out on that episode we saw. These are the dumbest people on the planet. Where did they get $1 million in assets since the filing of bankruptcy? What didn't they list now? They had no equity in anything that was on that bankruptcy filing. Has she made $1 million since they filed that she has squirreled away somewhere? All of her Bravo earnings and her book/food deals were subjects to contracts that are easily discoverable and KNOWN by her attorneys. Did she make that much from book/wine signings in cash? But her attorneys would have known about all those signings as they would be part of the promotions for her underlying deals. Did Joe get something from the Dad when he died that they didn't list? But his atty would have had to ask, did you get anything from the will. They attorneys would be smart enough to ask for a copy of the Dad's will. Edited by Finestra, Oct 2 2014, 12:11 PM.

How do you forget to list 1M in assets on your SENTENCING forms? And it's not like the lawyers don't look those over before they submit it, so what exactly is she paying all those lawyers for, if there is a glaring error like that? |

I mean, they couldn't possibly be stupid enough to still be lying about all this, could they? 1M is a huge amount to hide, especially when you are already under the glaring microscope that is the irs/fed gov't. |

Joe got 41 months. On break now, Tre is up next. I think Joe's fathers death hit him hard. I wonder if Joe feels that the stress of their problems caused his heart attack? That's a big chunk of guilt to carry around. Regardless of all they've done, I feel sympathy for them. None of their lives will be the same. Cow must be shitting herself with the $$$ problems they have. |

Damn. 41 months - somehow, I didn't think he would get that long. That is quite a bit of time. He is basically going to miss some very formative years of his childrens' lives, though I guess since they are that young, all are formative years. I do feel bad for them, too. I mean, I know I shouldn't, but I do. |

So they didn't hide $1 million in assets. They insured their home for $1 million. I guess the contents of that monstrosity could cost a $1 million to replace if it burned down. All that onyx! lol. Joe was up for 46 months I think, so she gave him off 5 months. Doesn't look good for Tre getting house arrest. She is up for 27 months? or more? Looks like she gets some time in and then house arrest after when he goes in. |

Luckily for them I read that the judge will stagger the sentences so they are not both in at the same time. |

And he has to complete alcohol counciling. Which I think not typically pertinent to fraud charges no? I'm just wondering how that came into play. |

Maybe he came in reeking of wine. ha. I am not sure, either. I mean, I doubt the judge would look at his dui issues since it's a different jurisdiction, but maybe she did. |

That's in a lot of sentencings where predicates have been DUIs. Remember he had an outstanding State case for the license thing. When you give a sob story, they throw that in as a sign of willingness to mend his ways. Treatment is always a good thing. ETA: His offense level under the Federal Sentencing Guideline was higher than Teresa's because he had a conviction for the DUI even though it was a State offense.
