blech - just weighing in on my disgust that the Clown got a book deal. And we are talking a 'real' deal not Jill or Silex's self printed vanity project right?

Sounds like it Shopper. Blech. Of course she has to actually follow through on it - maybe she will crap out like she has so many times before. Maybe she'll feel "disrespected" and quit after one day, lol. Lauren learned to do that somewhere and Mommy Clownie thought that was okay.

LOL, and it'll be Teresa's fault.

Gee, wonder who called Radaronline with this breaking news:

Shore Clown

And how freakin cheap are the Manzos? 30 people in a 5 bedroom house?

As a person who makes her living writing books, having suffered the seemingly endless rejection letters, and worked my ass off doing the incredibly boring business of book marketing, I do not have the words to adequately express how much I hate these "celebrity" book deals. Clownie will most likely never put pen to paper or fingers to keypad yet will have a book produced with her name on it and will have doors opened for promotion of which the average writer could only dream. She will make more money doing nothing than I will ever make. Her book will take up space in a bookstore that should go to a legitimate author. She has never expressed any interest or talent in writing (not to mention reading), at least from what we have seen on the show.
I could go on and on, but I won't. Suffice to say it pisses me off.

30 people in a five bedroom? Hahahaha - lots of cleaning, cooking and ham gaming I bet. What fun. And yeah, that's pretty cheap - six to a bedroom maybe that's why Clownie and Al had to do it on the beach:

I dunno Dilbert, we shouldn't count Clown's eggs before they hatch, I think Cosmo is on to something. "Follow through" is something this entire family is lacking. Albie and law school, Lauren and her makeup stand, Lauren and weight loss, Caroline and her radio show, Al and his marriage vows. I have no reason to believe right now that she can actually pull this book deal off with the degree of marketing required. I have never written a book but when I did look into the process, I understood that writing it was 10% of the work, it's the promotion that goes along with it that really makes you. Look at Teresa, at book signings night after night. That woman is a hustler. Will Clown be able to do that? I have my own snarky opinion of that but let's ask her.

"Could I promote my book? Yes. Did I want to? No. Why? I didn't have the time to waste pandering to minion after minion because people should just worship and respect me for what I've accomplished. Why did I think that was a waste of time? Because between counter wiping and the ham game, I am very busy. Plus Critofer's and Albie's asses needed wiping and Lauren's fat ass needed shaming. Do I feel bad for that? No, because I'm a mother first. Will you find my book in the bargain rack? Yes. Did I underestimate how much the tide had turned against me? Ya like me or ya don't. Four lovely book buyers who bought the book demonstrated they liked me. My family likes me, well, 40% of my siblings do. Wait. 30% now. Do I need more validation than that? No. Where am I going now? To Albie's apartment to sink my teeth into a cheerleader. Where's Lauren? Sinking her teeth into a meatball sub. Is Lauren a hog? Yes."

Aww...that's sad. Poor kiddo.

On a more shallow note, Cow looks almost unrecognizable in that picture.

I wonder if "researching" is code for Cow drinking Bailey's all day? Do you think she'll jump on the Jenny McCarthy crazy-train?

Lol,andme! And Carol calls Lulu a "pumpkin head"?
Sad for little Nicholas, and also for Chris Laurita, since his wife seems like she lacks the maturity to be the kind of mother that little boy needs.
And save a seat for me on the shallowness train while I ask, "Do you think Jac got paid for that interview? And did she tell Tre about it before it was in People?"

Poor kid. I wonder if Jax shared that with Teresa in the early morning calls, or was it only Teresa who was supposed to spill her guts?

Nicholas looks just like Chris. Autism is a long haul, and early intervention is key. I hope she is doing all the therapies that he needs.

At least she is open about it - unlike the Travoltas. But this is really his story. I am kind of mixed on parents sharing their children's issues. Autism is nothing to be ashamed of, but it is his life and to be labeled so publicly (and for publicity?). I wish she had done it through an autism awareness press release - like give the early warning signs or something. (Although she did a little with the fact that he started regressing.) I guess it bugged me that the article was more about publicity and getting her attention than helping out her kid.

Does this mean we can't just snark on her for the awful person that she is? I rewatched her and Teresa's tete a tete last night, and Jax is so immature. Blowing off Teresa's attempts to reconcile with a pat "I guess we will just not be very deep and be cordial when we see each other." Then when Teresa confirms and says, "okay, I guess when we get back we'll go our separate ways," Jax starts sobbing. Um Jacqueline, you asked for it and then you cry when you get it?
