I haven't been watching but have mostly read the media. I think too many concessions are being made for these 2 crooks. Joe driving may be one of them. They should have thought of their kids before and during the crimes they committed.

Teresa's looking forward to selling her prison story, I'm sure.

Good for her for avoiding the cameras as she left for jail. At least her daughters won't have to see her face plastered over the tabloids on her way to jail. I'd guess she also didn't want to show up in full hair and make up, and this allowed her to avoid that, and the photos of it as well.

I wonder if that is Joe driving, and if so, did he get a provisional license? "To work, to school" only? I know people who have one of those.

How are they still allowed to own or least at lease 2 expensive vehicles? That's a big pickup he's driving and they also have that white Mercedes SUV.

I wonder if the cars are registered in someone else's name, like his mother or maybe some cousin?

Or leased, and they can't get out of the lease without paying a larger penalty.

Joe didn't drive her. Her lawyer took her. I can't imagine they could own or even lease anything new in their own names after having filed for bankruptcy. They either are in someone else's name or they had to pay cash. So where did the cash come from.

Freely they should have thought about their girls of course, but I still feel sorry for their girls.

Here is an AOL blurb on what Teresa did to get ready. At least she did something. I really thought those two numbskulls (just thought of that word - numb - skulls = perfect for those two because their heads aren't working) would be in denial forever.

We know that the hardest thing for Teresa is going to be spending time away from her daughters. She ensured her girls that she will stay in their hearts by giving them videos and pictures of memories they have together, along with heartfelt letters for all the birthdays and holidays she will miss.
Before Teresa headed behind bars, she celebrated her daughter, Gia Giudice's 14th birthday early.

No the photo is supposedly Joe driving the girls to school, not Terry to prison.

Did she have her ghost writer write the letters for her?

On THE VIEW on Monday, which I finally saw last night, they were upset because T told only the two oldest girls the truth. She told Milania and Audriana that she was going away to write a book about jail and would have to stay in jail to write it … I think it's a clever lie, but you're still saying you'll be gone for over a year. The girls will then resent a CHOICE instead of thinking that their mommy has none and did something that society thinks is worth this. I don't know where I come down on the issue, except that it's Tree and Juicy's decision and they were laughing a lot about the situation on The View with pictures of Gia in tears on a big screen behind them. BAD IDEA.

I think it's a bad idea to say she is choosing living away to write a book over choosing to live with them. Like they are less important than a book. That is what Radaronline is reporting. Now they are also the ones that said Teresa's house was raided a couple of weeks ago. So who knows. Maybe the View had quotes from her new lawyer. Just seems psychologically unhealthy. If they are going to lie to the girls, at least make it closer to the truth. Better to lie about something else, like "Mommy didn't know she was breaking the law, but mommy was, and now mommy has to go to jail."

Going back to the bankruptcy. Many times you can keep your vehicle since its for work and your residence. Depends on the situation. I am certain That joe hid cash and out things in other names. Maybe his parent's.
