Richie is scum. I hate people who use small business people's services and then blatantly refuse to pay, knowing that the cost to sue or the energy to sue is probably gonna prevent any actions. What an asshole.

One of those silly FB memes I think speaks to us today:

Icy ya peace and t-shirt maker! LOL.

I worked at an Italian restaurant (the one the Ramsey's came to) and we made cannoli mix in a huge mixer and stuffed them by hand. I don't get wtf a kit is needed for. The mix was ricotta and marscapone, chocolate chips and some vanilla I believe. Oh and sugar. A lot of sugar.

I'd scoop that shit out by the forkload and eat it during my shift. Yum yum.

Plato was smart.

Velvet...when I did my time working in a steak house, one of the things we were known for was our coleslaw. We'd make vats and vats of the dressing and the employees would sit in the back during break and eat it on top of everything. Steak fries (my personal fave), carrot cake, rolls, chicken, steak, baked potatoes....it was almost ALL sugar.

ETA: OMG, icy. LOL

Steak fries with bbq sauce are the BEST!

Coleslaw always scared me, it seemed like it didn't turn enough and people would always get food poisoning from it...I guess because it sat out as a side-dish or something.

Icy, poor tre. That makes me feel even more sorry for her.

KFC's coleslaw is the best in the world, IMO - though I've not traveled that much. ;)

Steak fries with mayonnaise mixed with ketchup ... why, yes, I am poor white trash, thank you very much, Aviva!

Now, see, that's why we were famous for our coleslaw. The slaw was grated fresh, every day and we ladled the dressing on top, tableside. Tres chic.

Mmmm....now I'm jonesin' for some dressing and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside steak fries.

icy: My second job was at a KFC and I loved their slaw. I used to think the little cups of mashed potatoes and gravy were awesome, too. Now my kid likes the MP&G and me knowing how they're made and how they're stored makes me cringe.

Okay, so for my social experiment question of the day:

If that were Caroline's face on that meme, would any one feel sorry for her? Aviva? Danielle? TAYLOR? Ew.

In the spirit of my theory about how Bravo can take a villain and turn her into a sympathic character (and vice versa) over the course of several seasons, is there anyone that Bravo absolutely CAN NOT redeem?

I think they realized they could do nothing with Jill Zarin. I don't think I could ever feel differently about Taylor or Clownie. Aviva is cutting it close ... I guess I'll have to see her apology on the reunion. Oh, Kyle ... Kyle lost me long ago and there's no reverse position on that train ...

True story: KFC cole slaw is the only cole slaw I will eat. Move over on the not traveled so much bench, Icy.

Oh, and I died with your Tre photoshop.

I think that at the core I have to believe someone is a good and kind person, even if they've gone wayward for a bit. I don't know that Danielle is good or kind at her core because I think she's actually mentally ill, so she's incapable of any sort of genuine personality trait. Clownie doesn't appear to be good or kind beneath the surface - as evidenced by all the fallouts in her family. They seem to have her number. I don't watch NYC so I don't know about this Aviva person you all hate.

Something in me just sees Teresa as this sweet person who doesn't express herself well, who supported her friends (Jax and Clownie with the Din-yell hate) and then got famous with her Lucy schtick and some half-ass cookbooks, and everyone resents her.

Except for the financial shit, I have nothing against Tree and Juicy. The grew too big for their britches, he probably stole a lot of the materials (if not all) for their house, but he is a hard worker ... or was. And they love their kids and do a lot for them. And she is a hard worker. I won't watch any new show with her, but if RHONJ was to continue without the other four, I'd stick around, I guess. Just don't care to experience a new format. Bravo has too many test shows, IMO. Anything they film eventually ends up on the air and I'm just feeling over-loaded.

So with that: Velvet, whaddya mean you don't watch RHONY! OMG!! I just realized you haven't been snarking with all of us! Tragic. ;)

Oleander, it is good, isn't it? Locally 2 of our 3 KFCs closed down because the owners weren't paying their franchise fees. The one that is left is 40 miles south -- but you know, when I'm down in that town, I'm picking up a big bag of all the stuff, including the cole slaw!

I have a picture in my mind of the slick executives in their glass tower at 30 Rock, brainstorming deep into the night, thinking of ways to redeem Taylor. Just because they can. And it would be fun to toy with us.

Do I give them too much credit? Will the evil geniuses at Bravo test their powers of mind control using Taylor as the conduit? Will we all be buying Taylor's book by the end of Season Four? Is Taylor coming back and is Bravo's sick game the reason why??

;)
