That's great news, Lilly. Jill deserves to be happy.

What do you make of the other boyfriend/fiancée?

Bin is just a baby. Jessa will rule the roost but that may be good for her. I don't see Jessa having too many kids, maybe 3 or 4 at most.
She is poor Jordyn's buddy and Jordyn doesn't seem to get much attention from her.

Jill married Derick today. Her gown was very modern and pretty but a trifle defrauding with very short sleeves. They do look happy.

I really hope these girls are able to get some measure of independence and are able to forge their own paths. Her husband went to OSU? So hopefully he took some real classes and understands the concepts women wearing pants and goodness gracious shorts! on a 100 degree day.

What about poor Jinjer? My namesake on the twop board?

Ok I am watching a repeat - and she is at the ob/gyn and she has a 1 in 4 or 5 risk of a down syndrome baby at 45. She is now 48. So she isn't so scared by those risks because she has been hearing them since she was 35. So she is immune to the shock of those statistics! Argh!

My girlfriend had a baby born with downs when she was in her early thirties. Multiple surgeries because of heart abnormalities in the first few years. Heartbreaking choices regarding education. She is a wonderful little girl, however, her parents worry about her future.

Michelle Duggar is the most selfish woman ever. Her need for the attention of being pregnant and her baby hoarding is a sick compulsion.

EAT - Jinger is the chaperone for Ben and Jessa on their trip to D.C. As she states, "Help them keep the standards that they kept for themselves." I wonder what those standards are.

I think Ben might be dumb as a door knob but Jessa is absolutely gorgeous.

Statistically wise you have a much higher chance of having a DS baby at an older age, however, most babies born with DS are born to younger women since they do NOT have testing. I know many are against it termination and I don't want to insult anyone, but I would have have testing at any age. If insurance wouldn't pay I would pay out of pocket. I will simply admit I could not handle it. It's an incredibly difficult decision to make but I would always err on the side of caution but that is me. I had a CVS so I would know the most at the earliest possible time. It was easy peasy btw. If I had a positive test for DS then I would most likely have a 2nd test to make sure there wasn't a mistake but I wouldn't wait until the amnio date. I'd have a 2nd cvs. I don't trust any tests that are just from measurements. I've heard to many mistaken stories. Hope I didn't scare anyone.

But Michelle Duggar is having the baby no matter what because that is what the good lord gave her. Thank goodness the fertility dr. told her that her likelihood of getting pregnant is getting pretty slim based upon her hormone levels. You would think that a woman that delivered a baby at 25 weeks would get that her body is done. Her uterus is done. Risking another premie is another thing that drives me crazy about her. Just go adopt a baby. There are plenty of children (not babies) needing loving homes. What is the matter with them.

I hope that they do not adopt a baby into that cult that they believe in.

On another note, Anna's sister Esther is married to an idiot who has moved his family of 8 children and a very pregnant wife to Zambia so that he can become a missionary. They moved before they got their visas. He claims that he can't afford the immunizations and malaria preventives. Poor Esther's last pregnancies have been a bit difficult with days long labors and they don't even have a midwife lined up. I hate that their faith system requires women to be so submissive that the women have to put up with junk like this. It is wrong.

So they moved to a country where you are supposed to get vaccinations to prevent preventable deadly diseases and they didn't get the vaccinations? I guess they will say it's the Lord's will should something happen. Not their own stupidity.

Here is a lot of information on the Schraeder's mission to Zambia.

I wonder if Boob is donating to this mission.

OMG, Lilly. Did they make it into Zambia without the visas, or are they somewhere waiting for them to come through?

John sounds pathological.

God dang it, he is an idiot. The visas may be in but John when he traveled to get them left his paperwork at home, for some reason he thought that he didn't need it. I am really worried about Esther.

I wish that Joshie and Anna and her parents could have talked some sense into them.

I think that when Derick and Jill do some real missionary work, they will be much more sensible about it.

I'm happy for Jill. She seems like a good person.

I wonder if she left skid marks leaving that house?
