Hey, andme, you got your sailcat this week! I was very disappointed in this week's show. First off, that psychologist was an utter moron who seemed more interested in her TV makeup than on saying anything other than the obvious.

I would like to have heard way more about their backgrounds and their future. We were left not knowing more about them than we did at the beginning of the show. No way could that house be salvaged. All this boo-hooing by the man about how he couldn't take care of his wife, and they were griefstruck about Ratcat struck me as phony. Is it just as simple as they were both nuts with a presentable facade? Because they seemed more interesting than most, I'd have liked to hear more about that kind of stuff than the endless repetition about the draining septic tank. "Four days," BWAHAHAHAHA.

Well...I think we have a winner for most disgusting house. Watching last week's episode and they have raw sewage running through the first floor of their house.

Bwah - what show are you talking about andme? The good one or the bad one? I don't like Hoarding Buried Alive - aka the bad one.

This Hoarder wasn't a female who lists her occupation as a matchmaker was it? LOL The matchmaker I've been working with went MIA last week and we were all trying to get a hold of her...until we saw her on the News talking about how the city caused raw sewage to spew out of her toilets. Yeah this is the lady that I'm trusting my romantic future with. They showed her house and the raw sewage was nasty, but what I was focused on was the clutter in the rest of the home - borderline Hoarder. If I weren't so desperate I'd ditch the whole thing. She has a good track record of matches...and raw sewage in her home. Favorite quote from the news story - 'Jesus has crap on him' Yeah she keeps a picture of Jesus in the bathroom. I'll try and see if I can find the video again - it was hysterical.

It's the Buried Alive one, Shopper...and it's awful.

weaver - just saw the sailcat! How stinky does your house have to be to not notice a rotting cat behind your credenza?

I know the lady is awful, but the hubby isn't exactly Bob Vila, either.

Shopper - how do you like your Matchmaker? It's not Patti Stanger, is it? ;)

Now I'm watching this week's episode...it's a kooky guy with a gray beard...can't figure out if it's a rerun.

Well I'm wearing my hair curly lately so thank goodness she's not Patti Stanger. The jury is out. I'm going to give her one more shot at speed dating this Friday - but then I think I'm out. Something about seeing the lady you trust to pick a mate for you living in semi-hoarding/raw sewage just turns me off. So far been just doing 'group' outings.

Sailcats amaze me - when watching those shows I just hug my little ones tight...but if they piss me off I threaten to give them to the chicken lady. That three legged, one eyed goat was mean.

LOL! But he just couldn't give the family what they needed, like picking up a bag and throwing it out.

This week's ZZ Top guy was an original one. I'm getting very disappointed in TLC's Hoarding show. There is just not enough after shots. I've seenenough of the piles. And my DVR always cuts out right before the BSOJ gives information.

Do you need a vee-ha-cal?

LOL...how about the guy who fixed his flat...and kept quizzing him about all of the crap in his vee-ha-cal?

He HAD to be a Bravo setup. How was ZZ planning to pay and/or tip him?

The poor slaughter looked like such a sad sack. I felt sorry for her.

I started watching the better Hoarders show, the A&E version, but I think I can't take it anymore. We've seen just about every possible variation of hoarding and there isn't much more to see on that front.

This week - the woman who looked relatively clean with all the clothes, nothing special. Then the other morbidly obese woman with the cane who hoarded after husband walked out how many years ago? Ehhhhhhh, I just don't buy these easy explanations. I'd like to hear more detailed explorations of the history, and more about the aftercare and followup. It's like Intervention, they go off to rehab with 4 minutes left in the show, then all you get is a BSOJ to explain what's happened since.

Gotta hand it to Matt who tried to stay one night in that awful house. I wouldn't dare. These hoarders have probably built up some immunity to some of the germs over time, but he hasn't.

Think I'll take them both off my DVR list. Person of Interest filmed in front of my house last week, so I think I'll start watching it to see "my" episode.

Yes, I think there have been two weeks of new ones. New Intervention too.

Watched this week's episode. So sad....a traumatic head injury for one of the hoarders and lots of death for the other one.

This was one of the few times I thought they had legitimate reasons to hoard. And they weren't controlling and obnoxious.
