Yeah, but i liked that Ven always thanked the judges, I don't know... there was something about him that I liked. Maybe because I'm a mother of kids his age, or a teacher, I don't know.... for sure he didn't bring enough drama, and that's what the judges are looking for. They won't be nominated for an Emmy if there isn't DRAMA!! Going back to my bottle of wine now, as I dodge the tomatoes! |

My problem with Ven is that he was polite and drama free with people who were 'above' him as it were. So, the judges. But people he felt were 'beneath' him? He treated those people terribly. And to me it's more telling how you treat those people than how you treat people who have power over you.

Fair assessment, Momo. I'm hoping Dimitry makes it to the finals, I like Sanji, too. |

Didn't Ven help Elena (or was it the blonde?) sew this week when she fell so far behind? He can't be all that bad. |

The cast for next season's Project Runway has been released. It's going to feature all returning designers, and thank god they got rid of Heidi Klum. http://www.usatoday.com/life/people/story/2012/09/26/project-runway-all-stars-announces-season-2-cast/57846162/1 So excited for Kayne and Uli. I always loved Uli's designs, and dammit, I don't care how tacky those judge's said Kayne's Miss USA (or whatever it was ) gown was, I thought it was fucking beautiful and I would have bought that shiny piece of rhinestone. |

Casanova and Wendy Pepper? Is that a joke? Ugh. First and second to leave, I hope! But how can they bring back Andre without Santino? lol |

We'll see. I watched the other All Stars season and I thought it was BO-RING. As far as I was concerned, they could cut the show to 30 min. Challenge set up, short workroom segment, runway and judging. Because all the designers had done this before they did not get into it with each other. They knew how to keep their heads down and just do the work. You knew they would always, always, always "make it work" so there was never a question of a model heading down the runway half naked in a potato sack or something. I suppose it's possible that it won't be such a yawn fest this time out, especially with Bitchy Ivy and Asshole Joshua. |

They didn't get rid of Heidi, she doesn't do the all star shows. Last one was hosted by Angela Lindvall, and this one will be hosted by Carolyn Murphy, bigtime Estee Lauder model. Katie Holmes??????? Already I'm underwhelmed. I loved Uli, will be interesting to see how she has developed. |

I hate that Heidi mines the talents of the contestants for her product line. I thought Melissa's was tragically awful. Poor Elena. I liked her. |

Melissa's was just awful, but then again I thought she should have gone last week with her number one on the badly sewn dress. Between the L'Oreal product placement and Heidi's product placement there isn't much room for the show. Remember when she did her athletic wear for Reebok (I think?). It was dreadful. They did a challenge around it, people had to use her fabric, and none of them liked it. |

Just a guess, but I'm seeing Chris, Sanjia, and Fabio for the final three. Melissa will go next, then Demitry ... I could be wrong. LOL |

Maybe because I have girls, but I didn't care for Sanji's baby suit. And the mom's maxi dress was just awful. Watching this week`s episode. Not loving Heidi's gladiator dress. I hate the word ”muse“. Sounds so pretentious. Edited by andme, Oct 5 2012, 01:30 AM.

I didn't like any of the avant-garde looks, though I did like Fabio's jacket. I need to try that, flip something upside down. I am sort of relieved that Sanjia is gone. She really never gelled as a designer for me: I never felt like I knew what she would do. On the flip-side, Dimitry you always know and it's all the same. I thought his look tonight was like a business woman mixed with Barbie doll outfit awful. And drab, OMG, fucking drab. Christopher's outfit had bits and pieces that were interesting, but also Miss Kitty in Dodge City called and wants her Saturday Night with Marshall Dillon dress back. Melissa's .... I was like "you're toast" so shut my mouth when three of the judges loved it. Wow. So far from what Chris March or what's the guy who won that year? What they designed. It's like they don't know what avant-garde is. I was so excited today, watching Disney Jr TV -- they played a commercial for some movie called Princess Sophia: Once Upon a Princess and whose voice came out of the animated majordomo? Tim Gunn! He's doing voice-over work for animated movies now, apparently! |
