Just read my Entertainment Weekly for the week and they said this new season of Project Runway is pretty good... they gave it a B+.
As usual, I'll have it set to DVR so I can FF if need be.

Ok Belk just increased a few notches in my mind. When I moved down South I was like WTF is Belk. Underwhelmed to say the least, but maybe I'll give 'em another shot. Guess Lord and Taylor didn't want to pony up again. Belk merch is like Dillards - a little higher quality than say JCP, but not a Macys/ LnT and sure as shit not a Nordies, etc.

Icy, it's also OnDemand. I only got through the 'meet the designers' one hour show, still have the episode to go. 90 minutes seems too long.

I saw it. Not impressed. I do like the two big changes: the judges look at the clothes close up and Tim Gunn has more of a role in the judging, at least influentially.

Yup ICY it was just blah, after watching the whole thing still my only comment is I'm puzzled at the Belk wall. Talk about obscure.

I'm curious to see the uncensored view of the bathing suit just b/c I can' comprehend how anything was able to hang out.

Yeah, once again they said you could see her vagina. Really? It was turned inside out and hanging? I doubt it! So perhaps her labia was showing or some hair. I feel bad for that model.

I was so bummed that he didn't get auf'd! I absolutely loved how Zac Posen called him out for burning the fabric, though. That was freakin great!

On the thread at TWoP, one of the skydivers is posting. He said Tim is as gracious and wonderful as he appears to be and that Heidi looked really frail, like a gust of wind would knock her over.

Have any of you read any of Tim's books? I got them all for my daughter for Christmas and Gunn's Golden Rules is a very nice read. Made me love him even more. One of my fave stories is that Tim and some of his prep school buddies went to Woodstock. Imagine a group of ultra straight, argyle wearing kids showing up expecting a nice, civilized concert. They didn't stay very long :P And, he alludes to Padma Lakshmi being a bitch. She contacted him to ask if he'd use his connections to score something (jewelry or clothing, can't remember) and he went to the trouble to arrange it for her and she blew him off. Never responded to any of his follow up calls or emails.

I just love my Tim. Forget What Would Jesus Do? When shopping I go by WWTS... What Would Tim Say?

Yeah, Padma is pretty much a bitch. Salmon Rushdie pretty much said the same thing, and also I think "self-absorbed" was in there too.

The way Padma blew off the father of her kid really turned me off her.

I like the changes in the show, so far. The sustainable guy is a hoot; now working as a commercial designer and being into sustainable are mutually exclusive. Is he going to make all the clothes himself on his hand pedaled loom? HE's good for a laugh though.

I've seen top models in NY and so many of them are so thin it is hard to believe. No way is it natural.

I cracked up when he wouldn't let the hair stylist use any tools that require electricity on his model. But, I didn't see him bring a treadle sewing machine along with him. I guess electricity is okay when he needs it to power his sewing machine, serger and iron.

LOL...if he really wants to be sustainable, they should make him sleep in a tent in front of the hotel.
