I loved the fight last night between the Russian guy and the black guy. Nothing like gay DRAMAH!!!! And the deaf guy unplugged his hearing aid. Love it!
Hang my head in shame that the weird sustainable guy is from Wisconsin. I swear, we are not all strange!

I know people from Wisconsin, and I'd never have guessed he was from there -- your rep is safe, Discomom!

He should have been sent home .... bottom two, twice from the top? That said, I thought his dress was nice. I thought they were all nice, except Helen's. What a dreadful mess! I can understand not making something lovely, but that was a pile of shit. Interesting that they decided to show her breakdown and Tim's intervention. I knew they'd keep her after that, though.

The dress that lost was better than I expected looking at the fabric she chose. What is going through people's minds? Seriously!

Very happy with the winner, though they all gasped when that silver-ish dress came out and it wasn't even in the top three ... so some shenanigans seem likely.

Oh, and every time I look at Zac Posen, I think of a darker haired Alfred E. Newman. Did we already discuss that during last season? He's not ... he's dollish somehow.

Wow. The two top dresses were SO great!! I really loved them both, but completely agree with the winning look.

And thank God Mr. Sustainability Can't-Design-My-Way-With-A-Paper-Bag is gone. Three times in the bottom from the first week? Gad, that's infamy for ya!

I LOVED the winning dress! The other one was cute as well.

Time for Unicorn boy to go, even if he is a fellow Sconnie.

I'm still watching ... this season is good, but that Ken has to go. He's too whiney bitchy "I'm all that" when he's not. Cursing one end to the other and THEN calling his church sponsor? Puh-leaze. I thought they should have had two winners this week. Kate's work was the whole thing, not just a cool jacket as in Helen's case.

And why did Karen's model say awful stuff about the look? Stupid girl. Won't miss Karen, though - she sounded like Drew Barrymore as a Valley Girl and I was tired of looking up her nostrils.

We watched last night Icy. First time this season. In the previews, it looks like Heidi had some work done to her face. My daughter is really interested in fashion - she sews already. I think we are going to start watching this all the time. The commentary by the panel will help educate her about things to consider when dressing herself or designing clothes for others. Last night was a good one to watch because they talked about the designs emphasizing or deemphasizing certain body areas and the fact that when you have a loose top, you wear a tight bottom and vice versa. Much more effective than me saying you can't wear a big chunky sweater with sloppy sweats.

Yeah, I thought Kate got robbed. I would buy her outfit in a minute to actually work out in. Helen's jacket, not so much. But then, clearly, I am not a fashionista like Nina Garcia. She REALLY wanted that jacket.

I think Nina has some body issues. ;)

Yes, Finestra, all season they've had that added feature. They bring the best and worst designs to look at in detail and discuss them openly. There were some horrible designers that have already been sent home and one mediocre guy who left in a rage all on his own. If you can get the back episodes ON DEMAND it'd be fun to watch them all. The season has been better because they added more Tim.

It has been really interesting with the addition of Tim Gunn during the critiquing panel. Take last night for instance: the designer of the HORRIBLE uterus prolapse pants most likely would have been sent packing, due to three of the judges complete revulsion, except Tim made Heidi admit that in the workroom walk through she told the designer she liked the pants and wanted to see then created. As Tim said, "What was the designer to do when the customer said she liked the idea?" Good behind the scenes stuff that has happened every season is now getting exposed to the judges.

Yeah, I thought that saved her bacon. But then again, even if Heidi says she likes them, those were FUGLY pants! I would NEVER wear them.

I'm an episode behind, but I've enjoyed this year so far. I like the evaluation of clothes closeup, and the Tim "save."

Heidi has definitely had more work done. The nose is very, very thin. Her wardrobe is a bit more tasteful this year though.

I think there is more talent this season than in the past couple of seasons. I like a couple of the designers, but of course can't remember their names. Good riddance to the Russian guy.

I love Tim Gunn - and I love that he outed Heidi as liking the poopy pants/droopy drawers.

I never cease to be amazed at how childish and petty Michael Kors is.

I was surprised to be so unexcited that Kors was back. Don't miss him at all, Zac Posen has been a good replacement. Despite the fact that he looks like a dark-haired Alfred E. Newman:

Michael Kors is funny, but he is very cruel to the designers. I like Zac's constructive criticism much better.

Kors is all over the place, he really made it big, handbags, watches, you name it, you see his MK on it. Wish I'd bought stock.

They had some good looking designs on this week.

Lol, gotta say I completely agreed with MK's poopy-pants assessment. And that designer needs some blotting paper.

You're right, weaver. My kids got some cute MK clothing at Nordstrom.
