So sad about Laura's husband. I liked her on her season.
I MUST get the Chris March Medusa wig. My Dad used to call me Medusa when my hair was at its Jewfro-est.

Watched the reunion. What a bunch of insufferable pricks, Helen and Jeremy being the worst. I read someplace where Tim Gunn stated he was appalled by the bad behavior of the designers throughout the season; it was an unprecedented level of misbehavior.

I hate Helen's nails. Seeing them in replays during the reunion made me realize how happy I was that she didn't win.

Think I'll skip it. No one was interesting enough to me to listen to the blather.

Thought the reunion was fine. They all had their bitchy moments.

Helen's nails continue to be creepy and Alexandria is still on strike against personal grooming. And I have no idea why the guy shaves his gingey eyebrows.

Finally caught up here!
Let me put up my plastic poncho in readiness for all the tomatoes coming my way when I say I didn't like Alexandria. I can appreciate that he clothes were edgy, but I also thought they were fugly. And she "deserved" to win ( as she kept repeating )... um, I pretty sure all the other designers felt the same way. She just had this "attitude" to me. So what Zac Posen "dissed" her, she should thank her lucky stars Michael Kors wasn't on. And as for being an immigrant... I can think of a lot worse things to be than a Swedish immigrant ( being said as a descendant of one) because hello, you do blend in, unlike say, immigrants from 85% of the rest of the world.
Can you guys tell I didn't like Alexandria?
I liked Dom's clothes. They were cute and ready to wear. I wouldn't be caught dead in any of Alexandria's, but that is just my taste.
I had a soft spot for Justin.

As for All-Stars, I agree. Why not have only winners? Since they are supposed to be "stars". Still can't stand Jeffery S. And I'm keeping my plastic poncho on to say I liked Laura Bennett back in the day. To me, that will always be one of the best seasons.

Ok, I'm done. ;)

Lol, but disco, she "knows what girls want to wear". She keeps telling us so!

Do girls want giant sagging crotches?

I don't want my crotch-crotch to sag, even though Joan Rivers has told me it certainly will, but I'll take a pair of Alexandria's pants (...she wrote, putting on her own plastic poncho to defend against the tomatoes.) I liked her and think she's just reserved and aloof and not great at charming people, and thought she was exhausted and driven when saying why she deserved to win. I really don't think Dom can design well - the real-woman challenge this season, she had a very pretty lady who was maybe a size 10, and the print and the floaty dress she designed for her was IMO so unflattering.

Helen's such a loser. I hope that she's televised again when someone, anyone, calmly eviscerates her. She might actually drown in her tears, snuffle-snuffle. And the less written about stealth-bitch Kate and her moon-faced dump designs, the better.

Oh, my real throw-the-tomatoes opinion: Justin ain't all that. I don't think he's a saint. He whined about Alexander moving furniture when he moved in. He's friends with Ken. I wanted him to have several seats during that reunion. That foaming-vag (thanks, Nina!) dress was well-deserving of the auf, and so was Kate's heinous 'print' monstrosity when her own entitled ass was finally tossed.

You are on fire, Camo!!! Do you think Tim Gunn would have saved him if he wan't deaf?

But please tell me you wouldn't wear the poopy pants when you're out running with Sandra Lee!

Ooh, andme, that's a good question...don't you think the show has gotten way more crappy reality show since it moved to Lifetime? Way more 'about the drama' per the dreadful Zanna Roberts Rossi, the much more annoying IMO version of Joanna Coles who pops up to judge (....without any judgement abilities, again IMO)?

I wonder if I could keep up with Sandra Lee? Hm, I doubt it, she seems pretty tough and like she'd be fast. I might need the poopy pants if Sandra prepared post-run snacks, though.

Camo, ITA that the show has really become crappy since it moved to Lifetime.

And as for Justin, I am a sap, so yes, I guess I did feel sorry for him because he was deaf. But he did have some really creative ideas, like the woman's signature on her dress.

FWIW, Sandy Lee went to the University at my alma mater, in my hometown. Don't know whether I should announce that or not! ;)

disco, I have this thing where I am semi-into Semi-Homemade Sandy Lee. I cannot help myself! She loves Wisconsin, right? One of my BFFs is from Milwaukee and so I love Wisconsin people!

This convo got shut down at TWoP but there have been some awesome tweets @ Helen and Kate about their reunion behavior. I am nowhere near 25 but I really do think they are very self-centered and shitty-attituded for twentysomethings.

I just finally realized who Justin reminded me of ...

I don't think Tim saved Justin because he's deaf, but def. because he's gay.

I saw one thing through Tim's denials of producer shenanigans -- he genuinely believes what he said. He's wrong, but he's actually got that opinion. He has more integrity than the producers.

LOl Icy!
I love Tim Gunn. I think he is just a nice person. But I love how he snarked on Anna Wintour!

ETA: Thanks Camo!! Wisconsin is a cool state (no pun intended) but I just didn't want people to think that I'm as flaky as Sandy Lee because we went to the same university... however, I think I know where Sandy got her taste for booze... Wisconsin in known for being a state of heavy drinkers. Did I just admit that? (hiccup;) !)

Huh. I guess Justin's signature idea wasn't so unique after all.
